SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 813 - 811: THE GUY SHE LIKES
Chapter 813: Chapter 811: THE GUY SHE LIKES
The two walked to one of the stalls and purchased what Diamond wanted.
After buying it, Waylon held the hotdog for her since he was full and no longer wanted to eat.
Diamond’s belly wasn’t full yet. With all the talking she did, she expended a lot of energy which needed replenishing.
The two made their way to a nearby café and by the time they reached there, the food was all consumed and Waylon once again saw how mighty Diamond was.
At the café, the two purchased some cold coffee before making their way to the parking lot where their cars were parked.
"How about I cook for you tomorrow?" he asked on the way.
Diamond looked at Waylon and let out a chuckle while shaking her head softly.
Waylon looked at her with surprise and asked, "You are not available?"
She grinned at his question and answered, "The guy I like is visiting tomorrow. I will be picking him up," without bothering to hide that from him.
Since she had already laid herself bare to Waylon, she might as well let him know about it.
"You ... you were really serious about that as well?" he stammered as he asked, his voice faltering, pausing in his steps as he looked at her, pain flashing in his eyes.
Diamond pretended as if she didn’t notice that and smilingly responded, "Um. I hate lying to my fans the most," as she turned to look at him while tilting her head.
Upon hearing that, Waylon chuckled forcefully, feeling pain in his chest but still forced himself to look okay.
"You must like him a lot?"
"Um. He is a good kid. When I was down after the breakup. He was talking to me and cheered me greatly. He made me change a lot regarding these dating matters!" she truthfully said, recalling how much her heart eased after knowing Gael.
He smiled wryly when he heard that. Should he thank this guy for doing so or feel jealous that the guy was about to have the woman he wanted badly but couldn’t confess to because of his delicate situation? ƒrēenovelkiss.com
Nonetheless, he was curious about him and wanted to know about him. He wanted to know his opponent, or rather in his case, a co-boyfriend if he ended up with her in the future.
"What is he like? Is he that good to you?" he asked, concern and curiosity in his voice.
Diamond was very happy to hear that. She didn’t know what his feelings for her were like, but whatever this was, his concern and curiosity were making her feel giddy already.
So, without any filter, she talked about Gael.
"Hehe, you know, we met because of his mother. Hehe, she wanted me to be her daughter-in-law at first sight and at that time I was dating the twins. I even told her about that but she didn’t seem to mind. She ..." The more she talked, the more she laughed, finding Auntie Grace very humorous even until now.
Waylon was shocked when he heard that. He didn’t expect that there were such open-minded mothers who were willing to go to such great lengths for their sons. Even when knowing about Diamond’s situation, that mother still pushed her son to the pit.
He didn’t know what to say about this mother, to be honest. But he knew one thing for sure: her son won big time and he envied him the most at the moment. After all, he went head-on despite knowing all that.
He was curious about him and wanted to see him. He hoped to see him soon. Such a character was worth seeing.
By the time she was done talking about Gael, they were already by her car.
"I guess this is goodbye for now," she sighingly said, reluctance in her voice as she looked at him.
Waylon felt refreshed, seeing how reluctant she was to part, and that made him have a glimmer of hope.
"We will talk on the phone and meet each other when you are free. It’s not like we are paring forever," he said coaxingly, taking her soft hand in his.
Diamond rolled her eyes when she heard that and scoffingly said, "Yes, yes. We will meet. Why are you nagging?"
Waylon nodded his head as he coaxingly said, "Sorry. I won’t nag you anymore. Can you forgive me?" his tone filled with playfulness made Diamond chuckle.
Seeing her being playful, he was also reluctant to part, but he didn’t want her traveling late. He didn’t know where she was staying, but it should be far. Knowing that he could only let her go.
The two joked for a moment at the car before she reached for him and hooked her arms around his neck for a hug. Waylon wrapped his arms around her waist and the bodies plastered together. The sensation is quite thrilling.
Badum. Badum.
They both could hear each other’s heartbeat and they remained silent for a while before Diamond spoke. "It was great meeting you tonight and thank you for listening to me and becoming my friend," with gratefulness in her tone.
It was rare for her to find people who could listen to her, to be honest. She found this opportunity a rare one, and she appreciated it so much.
Waylon rubbed her back, a soft smile on his face, and responded to her. "I should be the one thanking you. It was going to be a hard night for me if you hadn’t appeared, but because you appeared, this day won’t be as bad as I thought it would be. I learnt quite a lot and also gained a friend. So, thank you." He was very sincere.
It would have become his greatest shadow, a trauma and a hidden inner demon if she wasn’t there with him. So, he was grateful to her.
Diamond smiled relievedly when she heard that and hummed in response before saying a few words. "I feel relieved that I was of help. I hope you won’t mind that I talk too much!"
"Haha, where did you see yourself speaking too much?" he chuckled heartily as he rubbed her back continuously.
Diamond shyly smiled when she heard that and found this young man very pleasing to the eyes.
After a moment of caress. The embrace came to an end, and the two looked at each other briefly, sparks flying, and broke into hearty laughter.
"I am going now!" she broke the ambiguous atmosphere as she reached her hand for the door handle and he nodded at her, his gaze full of doting.
"Drive well and be safe on the road."
"You too! And don’t be stressed much," she didn’t forget to remind, and he nodded understandably before helping her into the car.
Once she was buckled up, she waved at him smilingly before the window started rolling up.
Waylon watched as the car glided from the parking lot and only let out a sigh of relief after seeing the car speeding away.
After she was gone, he clicked his tongue, a smile on his face as he made his way to where his car was parked.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
On his way, his phone rang, and he fished it out of his pocket and answered after seeing the caller.
[My man! How is the date going so far?] the other asked teasingly and Waylon let out a chuckle as he answered truthfully. "We broke up!"
[What? Dude, you are not playing me, are you?]
Waylon let out a dejected chuckle as he listened to that and responded, "I will tell you all about it. How about we meet for a drink?" so much had happened, and he wanted to find another letout.
[Sure. Should I gather the others?]
"Um. Don’t bring the ladies. Strictly guys."
[Where are we meeting?]
"How about Moonlight Club? We can sleep when it’s late," he suggested as he unlocked the low-key car he was silently vowing never to use again.
[Sure. Let’s meet there and don’t do anything stupid. You hear me?]
He rolled his eyes as he boarded the car and responded, "Sure. Madam Sean, I hear you!" before teasing the other for a while and then hanging up.
After the call ended, she chuckled helplessly, thinking about what his friends would be thinking after hearing the news.
He started the car before driving away, his destination locked at the club instead of home.
From where he was to the club, it would take more than an hour, but it wasn’t an issue. After all, that place was perfect. It reminded him of Diamond as well.
As he drove home, he couldn’t help but wonder what she was doing on the road. Was she already home? Was she tired?
Was she scared or fearless?
Was she talking with anyone on the phone? What was she doing?
Without him registering it, Waylon’s mind was full of Diamond and before he knew it, he was at the club.
Seeing the familiar building, he shook away those thoughts and plastered a smile thinking to himself, ’It’s going to be a wild night!’ and he surely bet.
