SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 196: 6 Months

[3rd POV]

Turns out there were a lot more sentinels than Gwen had initially expected, tens of thousands of them in fact. With quite a few of them being variants and special versions of the base sentinel, stronger, better. There were even a few Nimrod creations, but none of them had been completely finished. The absorption of the various versions had gone well, as her symbiote had massively grown from the absorption.

It could now rapidly adapt and grow to meet foes that she fought, and would continue to adapt and grow in the future, becoming stronger and stronger over time, as it understood and grew its adaptation. It was a sizable boon, Gwen decided, as the boost was large, even to her standards.

With the absorption of the Sentinels, Gwen had stayed in the world for a few more hours to make sure all the mutants were recruited from around the globe, hundreds of thousands, perhaps a little over a million of them were remaining on Earth, that she had recruited. And not a single one of them stayed on Earth, even after finding out that the Sentinels were wiped out, especially after she showed off the city and what it could provide them with.

After finishing her short time in the Days of Future Past Universe, Gwen had returned to Malzif for a time to make sure that the assimilation of the mutants were going well.

It was a bit rocky at times, with a few of them having panic attacks and other sorts of problems, as well as a small influx of crime over the month, but that was all dealt with swiftly, and wasn't a problem for much longer than a week. And even then, the crime was minor, nothing like murder or anything else like that.

The power she had from the influx of mutants coming into her city was massive, thanks to her having Hope's mutant powers. She was constantly mimicking the powers of others around her automatically, except for Franklin, Nate, and Rachels, mostly because she didn't want to test if she could actually control that power.

At the moment Gwen was sitting in her lab, looking over the gathered materials for Project Rebirth, dozens of objects placed around, and other...materials for the project were all kept safe, locked up for when the time was right.

'The project is progressing smoothly, at this rate I'll have everything ready in a year or two. I've still got a few more things to do, and a lot of them are...time consuming and dangerous, even for me. That and I need to rack up as many tickets as I possibly can in order to prepare myself' Gwen thought with a hum, looking over the objects as she contemplated what to do next.

She still had a few more worlds that she needed to personally visit, but none of them were as important as the Age of Apocalypse and Days of Future Past. The two of them were easily the most important ones, and amongst the most dangerous. For the truly dangerous ones, she had her clones dealing with them, hundreds of them. Mostly so she didn't have to risk herself in any form.

'For now, let's just continue how we're going' Gwen decided, as she left her lab for now, in order to continue her recruitment of mutants from around the world.

[6 Months Later]

For the next 6 months Gwen had continued her recruitment of mutants from around the multiverse, hundreds of millions a month were recruited into her city, as her teams meant to recruit mutants had been made and was also at work around the multiverse, traveling through universes to save all mutants they could. They were steering clear of certain worlds of more...dangerous backgrounds, but they had been doing excellently.

Her city had grown massively over the months, dozens of times its initial size, and now was by far the largest city in the solar system in terms of population, with over 3 billion mutants living in her lands.

Her economy and development was booming, as new technologies and discoveries were being made daily thanks to the countless world class scientists that now worked in her city, like alternate version of Tony Stark who was a mutant, various alternate version of Mister Sinister, various Hank Pyms who were mutants, and countless others, even a few Reed Richards who were also mutants.

Speaking of Mister Sinister, she had finally hunted the man down on her Earth, and taken care of him. He was...an underwhelming foe, to be honest. His clones were easy to find and he had died rather pitifully, basically begging for his life as she cut his head from the rest of his body.

She had found and hunted down countless versions of Apocalypse from around the multiverse, absorbing them into her in order to improve her power more and more with every absorption. She had even found a few more death seeds and life seeds which had been added to the vault, amongst many other objects of power that she needed.

Over the month she had completed countless quests of various levels of difficulty. Ranging from simple stuff like having 500 million citizens, 1 billion, 2 billion, 3 billion, and others such as saving all mutants on 10 different planets, 25 different planets, 50 different planets, and more.

Over the 6 months, she had completed a grant total of 50 quests, a massive amount during that time. And had gotten a total of 38 SSL tickets, pushing her total to 50 SSL tickets and 23 TL tickets.

She had grown massively in power, and had yet to claim the SSL tickets. She wanted to wait until it was time to enact Project Rebirth, doing it all at the same time.

Besides the tickets, the growth of her city, and the continuation of other projects, Gwen had gotten a few other things done.

Like helping the girls reach higher levels of power, as she finally sat down for a few weeks with them and helped them undergo massive rituals, serums, and others that made them more than just normal humans anymore. Raven had begun to delve deeper into her power as the daughter of Trigon, and was now beginning to rapidly develop in magic, to an almost frightening degree.

M'gann had underwent training in the mind with Xavier, and was beginning to reach his level of power. Korra was controlling the elements to a level unlike anything she had done before, no longer needing bending to do it, and could now simply call on the elements to do what she needed to do.

And then Artemis, who had been the one to undergo the most rituals, primarily for her mind and body. The biggest, and most important, was the activation of not only her metahuman gene, but also giving her an X-Gene which was promptly activated.

Her metahuman ability was what she called "Aim Hacks" and made it so that she quite literally never missed when she fired a gun shot, a bow shot, or threw anything at someone. It could only be blocked. It could be dodged, but only if you are massively faster than what she was throwing. It would also reinforce what she threw, making them stronger. Basically, she made Bullseye and Deadshot look like losers.

Her X-Gene gave her the rather frightening ability to mimic the fighting styles of others to a perfect level, and remembering them unlike Taskmaster. Not only that, but as long as she had the energy needed to use them, she could mimic moves that utilized energy, such as Kamehameha.

Basically...she was the only person in the world that gave Gwen a genuine fight when sparring through pure martial arts. That was an incredible achievement, after only six months, but it was the truth.

At the moment Gwen was sitting in her office, as she read the recent reports about the mutants and the growth of the city. The council had grown in the past few months in order to adapt to the huge boom of population, now having over 25 people on it, many of them from other worlds.

"Hmm, looks like I'll need to increase the size of the city sooner or later" Gwen hummed, knowing that at the rate the city was growing, she would need to increase the city's size, her droids were already working on it, but it was going slowly. But at this current point, it seemed that her clones would need to start working on it.

Gwen continued to read the reports, doing her daily paperwork, only to stop as a notification soon appeared in her vision, her eyes widening in surprise.

[Across the Beyond]

Details - Aid the Spiders of the other multiverse in defeating the villain known as the "Spot" and stopping the destruction of various universes. Aid Miles Morales in saving his father. Do so with only spider powers.

Reading the quest, her eyebrow shot up in surprise. Realizing that this would be the first time she's seen them in nearly 2 years. It would also be a good way of getting some tech and blood samples from other spider people.

Getting to her feet, she made a few clones to do their work, as she grinned, and accepted the Quest, one thought on her mind as she was pulled away from her reality.

That's the end of the Chapter!

Basically just a summary Chapter, mostly so I can get onto the more important plot points that will begin to prop up. This is also the beginning of the final big arcs of this fic, as it's been getting dragged on now, and I feel that it needs to get finished up soon. So there will likely be another 50-100 Chapters and then that'll be it.
