“Uwaaaaaaaaah...”

The terrified pill burst into tears once more when it heard Ye Qing’s threat.

Ye Qing pushed the porcelain bottle over to the pill and said, “Here, hold it yourself. It would be a waste if some of your tears leaked outside.”

The pill was speechless once more. This time though, its eyes flashed red. A soldier could die, but not humiliated. Did he really think it was a pushover? Worst case scenario, it could just die!

The pill decided then that it would throw the bottle at the bastard’s face and say a few heroic words. Then, it would gallantly pass onto the afterlife!

Then, it recalled that it couldn’t speak. That’s fine though. Spitting at his face would work as well.

No, wait, spitting at his face wouldn’t work either. It would still benefit the guy in the end.

Forget it. Throw the bottle first, think later!

And so the pill angrily raised the bottle and got ready to throw the bottle.

It was at this moment Ye Qing said smilingly, “If you cry well and fill up this whole bottle, then I can consider not eating you. What do you say?”

“Upp...” The fearless pill abruptly stopped what it was doing and stuck its face into the bottle. Then, it started crying loudly.

To hell with rather breaking than bent! To hell with being brave and fearless! All it wanted to do right now was to cry, and anyone who tried to stop it would face its wrath!

“You are seriously...” Feng Qingyou shook her head smilingly. She knew that Ye Qing had no intention of eating the pill of course, at least not now.

Old Man Turtle was looking at Ye Qing curiously as well. “Are you not going to eat it?”

“For now, no. Who knows, it may be useful in the future.”

Ye Qing did not hide his intention. He looked at the bawling pill and said smilingly, “Don’t you think it’s like a kid? It’s quite interesting.”

At his current strength, he wouldn’t experience a flying leap in power even if he ate the pill. As for extending his lifespan, he needed that even less.

Besides, the pill reminded him of Wawa, Kungfu Frog, the little lotus guy and more. That was why he chose to keep it around, at least for now.

“It does act like a kid. Its sapience is astounding.”

Old Man Turtle was also watching the pill curiously. “It is rare to find such a sapient pill. With the proper care, it might transform into one of those godlike pills that is said to possess limitless potential.”

“I hope so.” Ye Qing smiled.

The pill had no idea about their conversation, of course. They were conversing in a way where only the three of them could hear. The pill was still bawling its eyes out without any clue whatsoever.

“Just how cruel can you be? If you’re going to eat it, then just eat it. Why torture Little Pill?”

It was at this moment a young voice spoke up, and the girl they met earlier appeared before them. She was looking at the bawling pill with angry eyes.

“You haven’t left?”

That was what he said, but he wasn’t surprised by her appearance in the slightest.

“That’s none of your business!” The girl said indignantly, “And don’t try to distract me!”

Feng Qingyou asked curiously, “Who’s Little Pill?”

The girl pointed at the pill on the table. “Him, duh.”

Ye Qing also asked curiously, “How do you know it’s called Little Pill?”

The girl replied matter-of-factly. “He’s a pill born from the Pill Furnace Island. What else should I call him if not Little Pill?”

Ye Qing and Feng Qingyou exchanged glances with each other and nodded. She was right. It was a perfectly reasonable name.

Standing with her arms akimbo, the girl said menacingly, “Stop trying to change the subject! Speak! Why are you torturing Little Pill?”

“Torture?” Ye Qing said playfully, “I’m not torturing him. He’s crying out of his own will. You can ask him if you don’t believe me!”

“You know what? I will!” The girl went over to the pill—Little Pill—and asked, “Did they torture you, Little Pill?”

Little Pill ignored her and kept crying.

The girl tried to persuade him, “Don’t cry, Little Pill. Tell me what they did to torture you, and this big sis will get back at them!”

Get back at them? Who’s the one who cried even harder than me just now?

Little Pill rolled his big eyes, turned his back on her, and resumed his crying.

The girl kept persisting, “You may just be a pill, Little Pill, but even you have your dignity and courage. Worst case scenario, you can just die. What’s there to be afraid of? Don’t you want to stand up for yourself?”

Says the one who’s not about to be eaten. Little Pill didn’t even know what to say to this girl. Anyway, don’t stop me or I’ll bite you!

The girl tried to persuade Little Pill a couple more times, but he did not appreciate her efforts one bit. He even cried harder and louder each time.

Ye Qing looked at the exasperated girl and said smilingly, “See? He loves crying. I didn’t torture him, did I?”

It sounded wrong, but the girl could not find the words to refute him. So, she could only give up and say, “Hmph! Fine, I’ll pretend that you didn’t torture Little Pill!”

Ye Qing shrugged. “Pretend? I literally did not torture him.”

“Hmph!” The girl harrumphed and got ready to leave, but a power pinned her in place as soon as she turned around.

The girl yelled in annoyance, “What are you doing?”

“What do you think?” Ye Qing’s smile slowly faded, and his tone slowly grew cold. “You think you can just intrude into my space without permission? Come and go as you please?”

The girl asked, “What do you want?”

Ye Qing said murderously and coldly, “What do you think?”

“Hehe...” Surprisingly, the girl didn’t look afraid. She even let out a chuckle and declared, “You won’t kill me.”

Ye Qing asked in a cold voice, “You think I wouldn’t dare?”

The girl blinked at him fearlessly. “You dare, but you won’t do it!”

Ye Qing lifted a curious eyebrow. “Why do you say that?”

The girl said proudly, “I just know.”

Feng Qingyou suddenly spoke up, “It’s rumored that the Feathers can naturally sense if a person is good or evil. It looks like the rumor is true.”

The girl looked at her in surprise, “How did you know?”

Feng Qingyou gave her a taste of her own medicine. “I just know.”

Silenced, the girl could only turn her gaze back to Ye Qing.

Ye Qing shrugged. “Don’t look at me. I don’t know either.”

The girl harrumphed. “Whatever. Just let me go already.”

Ye Qing smiled but did not comment about it. He curled his finger and released her restraint.

After the girl regained her freedom, she stretched her body a little but did not leave. Instead, she started exploring the cabin.

Ye Qing gave her a puzzled look. “Why aren’t you leaving?”

“Why should I leave?” The girl looked at Ye Qing and justified her behavior. “I’m worried that you will torture Little Pill, so I’m going to follow you and watch you! Right, Little Pill?”

Little Pill: “...” If you wanna follow them, then just follow them. Why are you using me as an excuse? Are we close?

Ye Qing asked, “Do you even know where we’re going? Aren’t you worried that you would run into danger?”

“Hehe! It’s only fun if it’s dangerous!” The girl giggled and approached Ye Qing. “Speaking of which, where are you going? Take me with you!”

As expected, the little girl was following them because she sensed that it would be a “fun” experience.

He could guess what she was thinking, of course. “I’m worried that you would torture Little Pill” his ass, she just wanted to play and have fun.
