A couple spirit turtles carrying fruits, meal and wine soon showed up and swam up to them. “Please, do not hesitate to partake in my wine and fruit. Who wouldn’t want to wet their throat after such a dry journey, right?”

“Thank you, elder.” Ye Qing poured himself a cup of wine and downed it in one gulp. It was icy and sweet. Like a cold drink in the hottest summer, it instantly soothed him from head to toe.

“A fantastic wine!”

Ye Qing could not help but praise it.

“It is.” Feng Qingyou added, “This is brewed from a Sea Bed Nevermelting Ice, right? You sure know how to enjoy life, elder.”

“Hahaha! You flatter me! Flatter me!” Old man Turtle could not help but guffaw with sheer delight when he heard their praise. “Cheers to the both of you!”

“Cheers!”

The trio toasted each other and drank for a bit. Then, Old Man Turtle urged everyone to try out his fruits.

Of course, the fruits were pretty extraordinary as well. It was overflowing with spiritual energies and tasted wonderful. It could strengthen one’s body and heal one’s injuries as well, though it only worked on Lingyu as a matter of course.

It wasn’t long before they heard a gong strike from outside the Spirit Turtle Hall. It was the Divine Sun General striking the evening gong. The sun was setting soon.

Old Man Turtle waved his hand, and the walls of the Spirit Turtle Hall turned as transparent. They could see everything outside the hall perfectly.

Red hues dyed the sky, and a sun descended from the west and landed in the Soup Valley.

As Ye Qing spoke, he flicked his fingers and sent the Li Fire Divine Wheel flying out of the hall. Once it was hovering above the Spirit Turtle Hall, it rotated slowly and spread out its Nan Ming Li Fire. The light was such that it overcame even the powerful sunlight.

The next moment, the terrifying heat was consumed and absorbed by the Nan Ming Li Fire as well.

After the heat was consumed, the temperature within the Spirit Turtle Hall visibly declined and became much cooler.

“That is correct, senior,” Ye Qing answered while tapping his fingers and waking the unconscious Lingyu. “King Taishan had left behind the Li Fire Divine Wheel in a treacherous location in Bei Yuan. It was to temper it with Bei Yuan’s fiendish energies and nurture it with the body of a Sage. That is why it is so potent.”

“I see.”

Old Man Turtle nodded enviously. “This is no natural treasure, but it is more potent than one and boasts unlimited potential. If nurtured properly, it will definitely become a natural ultimate treasure and be named among the divine artifacts.”

“Well said. I am ashamed of my shortsightedness,” Old Man Turtle said.

Ye Qing shook his head. “You exaggerate, elder.”

“I’m not dead? I’m still alive?”

It was at this moment Lingyu woke up and looked left and right in shock and fear.

Ye Qing gave her a light head pat while chuckling. “Of course you are.”

“Thank goodness! Thank goodness!” The girl kept repeating while patting her chest. Then, she noticed the Li Fire Divine Wheel floating in the air and let out a panicked cry.

“Oh, be quiet. You will be fine,” Ye Qing said.

It took a while longer before Lingyu finally accepted Ye Qing’s words of comfort and realized that the fire would not harm her. After letting out a deep sigh of relief, she carefully looked at the Nan Ming Li Fire and asked in a small voice, “What is that flame? It’s terrifying!”

“How inquisitive can you get? Just be glad it doesn’t hurt you.” Ye Qing did not explain what the fire or the Strange Artifact was. Instead, he turned back to Old Man Turtle and Feng Qingyou and made idle chit chat with them.

“Hmph! Keep your secrets.” Lingyu pouted, but she didn’t ask any unnecessary questions. She also realized that the Spirit Turtle Hall was no longer as hot and suffocating as before. Soon, she was wandering around the Spirit Turtle Hall once more and forgot all about her displeasure.

With the Li Fire Divine Wheel to protect them, the murderous temperature was no longer murderous or dangerous to the group.
