STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 740: Tier-6 Red Lizard

Jeremy Night was running non-stop while using the Second Eye ability. The next second, his X-ray vision caught something.

A terrifying thing was hiding beneath the ground ahead. He couldn’t think of many beasts that hide underground.

But then he saw the size of the beast was over 5m. It was no ordinary beast. It was another Tier-6 or above beast.

Swoosh!

He increased his pace towards the beast. Only the beast could save him from his current predicament. He could see that beast, but not the Tier-6 Beast Tamer.

It was to his advantage.

Boom!

The Tier-6 Spider continued to chase down the target. Seeing that the target was going in a straight line, it increased its speed.

The beast got closer in the blink of an eye. The eight legs of the beast were pushing it forward.

Jeremy Night felt the crisis of death again. He glanced to the side and saw the humongous body of the beast behind him.

He was well within range of a poison attack. If the beast sprayed poison, he wouldn’t escape this time.

The Tier-6 Beast Tamer was behind. He noticed that his Lifeline Beast was about to reach the target. He let his heart rest.

He had been worried about bumping into other beasts. Fortunately, the chase was over. His eyes flashed with hatred.

If not for the mission, he would have liked to capture the target alive and torture him.

Boom!

The next second, an earth-shattering noise sounded.

The Tier-6 Beast Tamer was stunned. He saw his spider beast thrown into the sky. The visuals stunned him.

The beast then crashed into the ground.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night was hit by a boulder. His body slammed into the ground.

The landing was hard. But he didn’t think about that. Right now, his body was stuck between two massive boulders.

But his gaze was locked on the sky.

A massive lizard appeared in his view. The lizard was red in color. It had massive, sharp red scales on its back. Not only that, it had a strong tail.

Earlier, the huge tail had swept away the spider.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was happy and relaxed his nerves. Now the Tier-6 Red Lizard would take care of it.

He had succeeded in luring the Tier-6 spider into the territory of the Red Lizard. He doubted the Red Lizard would let go.

Boom!

The Red Lizard charged forward to attack the spider.

Seeing this, Jeremy confirmed his guess. He then started to run the breathing method. Slowly, the natural energy entered his body.

It traveled along the path. All the minor injuries were getting healed in the blink of an eye. Not only that, his body and mind became refreshed as well.

Time passed.

He could hear the booming sound from time to time. Unfortunately, he couldn’t take a look at it. Earlier, he had consumed the treasure fruit to recover his strength.

One hour later,

He moved the boulder before freeing himself. He then came to the plain area and used his X-ray vision to survey the place.

He saw the land was completely overturned. Then he saw the footprint of the Red Lizard. Seeing this, he realized that the lizard beast had not returned.

He thought the condition of the Tier-6 Beast Tamer and his Lifeline Beast won’t be good.

It was already morning. He decided to go to the Dark Swamp. Not only to complete the mission but to eliminate the threat as well.

He didn’t know the status of the Tier-6 Beast Tamer, but he believed that others could be there. Since their target was him, and he was alive and kicking, he doubted they would leave without completing the mission.

Swoosh!

Then he started heading towards the Dark Swamp.

Meanwhile,

The Tier-6 Beast Tamer was dead. The massive corpse of the spider was on the ground near him.

The Spider Beast’s body was cracked. It had bled to death. Not far away from them, the Red Lizard was injured and poisoned.

The terrifying poison had already seeped into its organs. The massive Red Lizard couldn’t move its body now, but it had some clarity.

The other Tier-5 corrupted beasts who came eagerly to get the spoils were killed by its pressure.

They didn’t know that the Red Lizard was still alive.

Dark Swamp

The five Dark Shade members were waiting in the Dark Swamp. They didn’t know what was taking so long for their leader to return.

"I told you our leader is a coward. He doesn’t take the initiative."

"If he had made the first move last night, the target would have been dead already."

One of them voiced his opinion. It was the same thing on everyone’s mind.

"I won’t be surprised. Not long ago, someone killed a Team Leader in the hideout. The killer was unknown."

"So it’s normal for him to be cautious. Besides, the target has an abnormal attack method. The bullets were clearly coated with something special."

"If we get that thing, maybe we could explore the unexplored region," a sharp-nosed Tier-6 Beast Tamer said.

Hearing that, everyone showed fervor. They wanted to have the same bullets as well. A Tier-3 Beast Tamer was able to injure them.

If they could get those bullets, then their strength would surely increase.

"You guys are daydreaming. Do you think the Leader would give it to us?"

"He might have a use for it himself," the third Beast Tamer said.

Hearing that, everyone quieted down because the third Beast Tamer was right.

"How long should we stay here?"

"Let’s just spend another night here."

"If the Leader doesn’t come, then we can go look for him, but we cannot return to the hideout without him."

The Dark Shade members made a decision. Their injuries were somewhat recovered, but they were not combat-ready.

That night,

Jeremy Night reached the Dark Swamp after taking a detour. Fortunately, he remembered the direction. Otherwise, it would not have been easy to get here.

He didn’t go into the swamp. Rather, he used his Second Eye ability to find out where the killers were. It didn’t take long for him to find them.

They were hiding in the low, sunken land behind the swamp. It was the same low spot where he had hidden from them earlier.
