Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 676: The Day of Reckoning

After Gillian began to use her [Blood Bomb] and [Hands of Providence] simultaneously during the Period of Lawlessness, many soldiers were told by their commanding officer not to bother fighting if they saw that Gillian was present on the battlefield! All they could do at that moment was to run and hope that Gillian’s [Hands of Providence] couldn’t reach them! Because all it would take was a single cut and a drop of blood, and Gillian would be capable of killing them all! And now, even after such a long time locked away within the [Cage of Eternity], Gillian had never forgotten that feeling of absolute power! And all it took was a single attack for her to regain the confidence she had always possessed on the battlefield!

Jason watched as Gillian began to absolutely eradicate the Machina all around her! Her shadowy hands shot out continuously and stabbed into any Machina she could reach, and massive explosions rang out across the world of the Machina as thousands of people were killed every second! The Machina army had finally arrived on the scene, and they tried to launch attacks at Gillian to take her down, but there was nothing any of them could do against a TITAN Rank III! So long as Gillian wanted them dead, then they had no choice but to accept their fate and die!

[Flash Freeze] has been activated!

A cold wind suddenly tore across the landscape, and hundreds of soldiers who had been running away were immediately turned into silver statues as the land froze over! Up on the roof of a massive building that overlooked the Machina city below, Jason stood with his hands behind his back and a smile on his face as his [Aura of Winter] poured out from him without restraint, and he began to kill off all the enemies that managed to avoid the [Hands of Providence]! Jason called on his most dangerous subordinates, and his Alternate Dimension opened up to reveal the large Beast of the Apocalypse! The Beast slammed its feet into the ground and let out a massive bellow that shook the world to its core!

BWOOOHHH!!

The people on the ground immediately began to run in fear, but they couldn’t even take two steps before the beast’s aura washed over them, and they were frozen immediately! The large Skrill also appeared from Jason’s Alternate Dimension and screeched as it let out massive sonic blasts that tore through buildings! Jason commanded the subordinates to move across the land and destroy as much of the world as possible, and the Beast of the Apocalypse let out a massive bellow as it started to walk towards the eastern region of the world, where the large military barracks were located, with the Skrill following behind it!

In the middle of the battlefield, a Machina soldier could feel his heart rate spiking, and he had a look of despair on his face as he tried to decide which direction he should go towards! On his left, all of his comrades were being blown to pieces by Queen Gillian’s massive explosions, and on his right, thousands of his comrades had been frozen into eternal silver statues by a cold aura! The current situation was something that no single Machina could hope to challenge! Most of them couldn’t even understand what was going on! The enemies had come out of nowhere, and they possessed so much power that there was nothing anyone could do to stop them!

"The Overlord! We need to call the Overlord! If we don’t get support, then we’ll all die!"

"All civilians, find your way to the bunkers! The army has declared a state of national emergency, and they will be unleashing all major weapons! Find your way to the shelters!"

"Call the generals and the Overlord! The enemies are too powerful for us to handle!"

"Run! Don’t you dare look back! That woman is Gillian of the Vympir! She can kill you with a single touch!"

"Isn’t that Jason Marc! Jason Marc came back for revenge! I thought we were hunting him down!?"

"Jason Marc is here!? Didn’t the army say he was already dead! How did he evade all our – Arghh!!"

A massive explosion rang out as the man who was talking was suddenly stabbed in the back by a [Hand of Providence], and he suddenly blew up in a massive explosion that threw everyone around him off their feet! Another soldier in the same area started to shout while trying to help people up!

"Everybody fall back! Don’t fight! Fall back! The cavalry is on its way!"

The Machina soldiers joined the civilians as they all began to run away! The soldiers who had responded first to this battle were just foot soldiers who didn’t have strong Cybertronic Genes! These soldiers were mainly guards and police within the world of the Machina, and their job was to protect the world itself from internal issues! They weren’t equipped to take care of powerhouses like Jason or Gillian! But now that they knew the situation was far too serious to ignore, the real army was starting to arrive, and Gillian could see multiple air carriers flying towards her from the distance! Gillian’s eyes narrowed as she quickly sent out her shadowy tendrils to catch thousands of people all around her! Gillian floated into the air while carrying her victims along, and she raised her hands to either side of her like an Angel ascending into the heavens as she welcomed the air carriers to approach!

Today was the day of reckoning for the Machina, and Gillian had decided that she would be the one to eradicate this miserable race!

[Central Machina Territory]

[Within the Seat of the Overlord]

The Seat of the Overlord was a large building located in the Central territory of Machina. It served as the Overlord’s home as well as the meeting place for all the Generals who were under the command of the Overlord! Right now, there was a general meeting being held within the Overlord’s throne room about the recent failure of the generals to carry out their duties and capture Jason Marc. Normally, no one was allowed to disturb the Overlord during a meeting with the Generals, and anyone who disturbed them would normally face severe punishments, but at this moment, a Machina soldier raced down the hallway leading to the meeting room with a terrified expression on her face! The recent attack on their world had grown into a full-scale war that had seen hundreds of thousands of their people killed already! Although the battle had only been going on for about five minutes, the attack was just so sudden, and the sheer power of the attackers was beyond anything that the Machina could hope to match! If they were going to survive this, then they needed the Overlord’s help!

But as the female Machina approached the throne room, she was suddenly hit by the unmistakable smell of blood that was seeping out from behind the large doors! The female Machina slowed down with a shocked look on her face while wondering what was going on, and for a moment, there was an instinctual part of her that screamed for her to turn around and leave immediately! The female Machina could tell that whatever was behind this door would reshape her entire life, and even though she desperately wanted to run away, there was a strange curiosity that pulled her towards the door! The female Machina grabbed the door handle, and she pushed forward to reveal what was inside!

"Huh... Ah, I suppose there are a lot of guards in the building. You’ve come at the wrong time. I was just finishing up."
