Surviving The Fourth Calamity-Chapter 351 - 150: Melee in the Starry Sky
Although now entirely clad in black, the elegant God of Nobility, holding a Rose Sword, took his stance before William.
"It’s time for us to settle a hundred-thousand-year-old account," He declared with a thunderous voice and a hint of amusement.
"Dionysio!" the rough voice of the Evil God boomed, laced with boundless malice.
"I haven’t needed that surname for a long while now! But it seems you’re having a hard time forgetting it!" The God of Nobility gracefully lifted his long sword.
This former deity, who once lost the competition for the throne to the God of Nobility and the God of Monarchy, indeed harbored intense hatred for Him. He immediately neglected William, swinging his great twin swords as he charged at the God of Nobility.
Even as the Dwarven God of Forging bellowed for him to attack William first, this Evil God, as if molded from molten wax, disregarded him completely.
He was utterly fallen, on the verge of losing even that last shred of reason.
His sole hatred was for the God of Nobility.
Destroying this nemesis of over a hundred thousand years was his only obsession.
Even amid the chaos, Hill caught a glimpse of William bearing an expression that screamed his desire for melons.
He almost got hammered by the Dwarven God of Forging, all because he turned to catch a glimpse of the God of Nobility’s demeanor.
In the starry sky, where the Dwarf Deity System had been in a stalemate for a long time, the Chief Dwarf God finally spoke up: "Elves! Do you think by not taking action you’re not part of the evil faction? What are you waiting for?"
The Elven God King, locked in a standoff with the Goddess of the Silvermoon, spoke with a strained voice, yet still ordered the Elf Deity System to join the fight.
But they were intercepted midway by all the deities of the Human Pantheon.
Even the Goddess of Love, who always had the Divine Kingdom united, stood in the starry sky wielding a long whip.
The Goddess of Agriculture stood at the edge of The River of Time and Space, where endless crops seemed to silently grow by the riverbank.
The God of Knowledge, holding a book and clad in a gray robe, guarded above The River of Time and Space.
Dressed in formal noble attire, the God of Contract stood on the other side.
However, the Dwarf Deities, without the help of the Elf Deity System, couldn’t even cause the God of Time and Space to appear outside the Divine Kingdom.
The space storms that whirled above the river halted all their assaults.
Above the starry sky, the chaotic battle did not affect William and the God of Nobility below.
The Dwarven God of Smithing was indeed brave, but he could not evade the Ten Thousand Sword Art William sporadically released.
William suddenly burst into laughter as the Giant Shield abruptly enlarged. The God of Nobility glanced coldly once and cast out a long scarf, lending a hand to William by blocking two Dwarf Deities with it.
"Undead Race from the distant realms, under the witness of the World Will, the gates of time and space shall open once more for you! Welcome to my world!" William shouted loudly.
Blazing with blinding brilliance, a moment later, new Undead began to continuously appear before the lone church in Central City.
"They’re all low-rank! What good are they?" The Dwarven God of Forging tensed up for a second but then laughed.
They had thought William’s summoning would bring forth all high-level Undead!
Even a billion Mage Level Undead could not be withstood by Elves and Dwarves.
But low-rank, what use were they?
He soon found out their use.
An alarming vortex formed in the sky above, as elements were frantically siphoned.
In both the Forest of the Elves and the Dwarf Kingdom, elements were almost razed to nothingness all at once.
Distant elements cascaded towards the near-vacuum area, bringing with them a tremendous tornado.
William never needed the combat strength of the Undead; it was the elemental turbulence that arose from their formation that he sought.
Spencer, accompanied by Mages and Knights, emerged from the massive ship that had long since landed, beginning to receive these newly arrived Undead.
They quickly organized the Undead into groups and led them away, set to meticulously search through the Hundred Cities.
To replace the Undead that had fought in battle.
William indeed lacked Legendaries in his hand, not to mention Demigods.
But the countless deities standing beside him were a different story.
In the sky, following the troops of Undead, were figures in Red Robes.
Their mission was to thwart any Demons that might arise.
Rather than others, it was these Legends of the Noble Church, verging on joining the Evil Faction, who were more sensitive to Demons.
After all, their Main God had only just wrestled free from the grasp of a Demon.
But the full mobilization of the Noble Church, including Cardinals, also took him aback.
These old timers, living luxuriously in the Noble Temple for so long, were now actually running about to guard the Undead.
Hill suspected that in order to maintain the God of Nobility’s sanity, they must engage more with the world.
Perhaps, after following these new Undead for a while, these Cardinals might find the path of atonement a little easier.
Whether in the starry sky or on the ground, it was now a standoff.
Only William suddenly laughed, "Is that the artifact from the Goddess of Love? You’re handling it quite adeptly, aren’t you?"
The God of Nobility’s lips twitched, and he turned away without responding to him.
In the starry sky, the Dwarf Deity System finally realized that the situation on the ground had become beyond their control.
They could not understand why the God of Time and Space could still help William summon the Undead Tribe during such difficult times.
But anger led them to release their most powerful strike.
The God of Time and Space could no longer stay under the protection of The River of Time and Space, His silver figure slowly emerged, surrounded by countless spatial rifts engulfing the power of the Dwarf Deity System.
But there were too many Dwarf Deities. He frowned and released His Scales Divine Artifact.
Young William and Goddess Spencer stood behind the God of Time and Space, with stars flowing behind them.
This was the moment when the defense of the God of Time and Space was somewhat difficult.
The Elf Deity System, which had been in a standoff with the human deities, turned around unexpectedly and launched an all-out assault on the God of Time and Space.
Even if these Elf Gods were weak, the combined power of hundreds of deities was terrifying.
The Elven God King slightly revealed a smile, even as the Goddess of the Silvermoon commanded Silver Wolf to bite off a corner of His robe.
But He soon fell silent.
The Sun God, radiant with brilliance, appeared beside the God of Time and Space, wielding a golden longbow.
The moment He appeared, not only did He reflect back all the divine powers, but He also shot out countless Arrows of the Sun.
The Elf and Dwarf Deities who turned to ashes screaming made both the Elven God King and the Chief Dwarf God curse the Sun God for His despicableness.
"My arrival has never been a secret!" the Sun God’s hearty voice resounded through the starry sky, "Failing to notice only proves your stupidity! This is not my deceit!"
The changes in the starry sky shocked the three Fallen Gods on the ground.
The God of Nobility and William almost simultaneously used their strongest powers to directly attack the human traitor.
They knew the defensive capabilities of the dwarven deities were strong, and even if the two of them joined forces, they might not be able to kill even one.
But this chaos Evil God of human origin must not be spared!
He was accustomed to blood sacrifices, and if he lived and escaped, there was no telling how many humans would die at his hands!
The Dwarven God of Forging and his Divine Subordinates didn’t heed the human Evil God’s cries for help and rapidly retreated.
William didn’t intercept them but used all his strength to severely injure the Evil God.
Looking at the Evil God, who was at his last gasp, William left the final sword to the God of Nobility.
Watching the once-human God of Smithing and Craft turn to ashes, the God of Nobility stood in midair, stunned for a long time.
This was the enemy He had fought for over a hundred thousand years, yet had died so pathetically.
Layers of radiance twinkled, surrounding the deity who had fallen from the starry sky, and He completed His path to divinity once again.
In the golden light of the World Will’s reward, the once King Dionysio raised his sword, "Whether for good, neutral, or evil, I, the God of Nobility and Monarchy, will always adhere to the world’s order, never betraying my Divinity! Nobles and kings are leaders who guide humanity towards the right path, never enemies of humankind!
My followers! Offer roses to friends, and longswords to enemies!
Always remember!
Humans! There are no eternally unchanging nobles, only a resilient will that lives on forever!"
In ridding the world of an Evil God who devoured human flesh, the God of Nobility’s black hair slowly began to flicker with golden light.
He walked slowly towards the starry sky.
He stopped at a position that was neutral but leaned towards evil, next to the small Divine Kingdom of the Goddess of Love.
The world acknowledged His change of alignment once again.
The new star-dominated Divine Kingdom of the God of Nobility, though only half the size of His previous one and in a perilous position, barely avoiding the edge of the Evil Faction, was still neutral.
He didn’t go straight back to His Divine Kingdom, but stood behind The River of Time and Space, beside the Goddess of Love.
Watching the Dwarves and Elves who were already considering retreat, the Sun God pulled back His massive golden longbow.
Silvermoon also smiled and swung her Silver Ring.
The human deities also wasted no time in throwing their own weapons.
However, amid the screams of the Dwarves and Elves, a black hand tore through space, seizing the golden arrow aimed at the Chief Dwarf God.
Unfortunately, he underestimated the damage of the sun god’s power to demons.
The sound of sizzling burns emerged in everyone’s ears.
Those with weaker spirit couldn’t resist the urge to vomit.
Hill, although strong of spirit, felt extremely nauseated by that evil sensation.
This must be a very powerful lord from the Abyss!
Hill suppressed his desire to flee and focused on the starry sky, remembering Silvermoon leading a few deities in the assault on the Elf Deity System.
The Elven God King had a crescent emblem appearing in front of Him, blocking all attacks.
The emblem’s power was mighty and sacred, containing both the forces of the sun and moon, drawing the gazes of the human deities even in the presence of a Demon Lord.
The relentless Silvermoon still pressed on.
The Elven God King smiled and adjusted His attire, "This is my father’s crest, capable of saving all Elves during the collapse of a planet. Gods of a little planet thinking to shatter the power of the Father of Elves?"
However, a delicate hand shattered the space at that moment, its sharp nails gently touching the emblem, "Little Moon, the Abyss does not welcome the descendants of Coron!"
