Chapter 360: Chapter 159: Where is the Elf’s World Tree Hidden? (Extra for Unparalleled Heavenly Master Alliance Hierarch, Part Eight)

Hill shook his head, no longer pondering these issues that only the deities needed to consider.

It was either a disaster they couldn’t foresee, with an enemy so formidable they could only resign themselves to bad luck.

Or they had vanquished the enemy, but the Three Gods were gravely wounded and had to slumber.

Compared to the Sun and Silvermoon, who were merely injured and would recover, the Earth Goddess who needed to repair the planet didn’t know when she would awaken.

Hill’s thoughts then turned to the Dwarves and Elves, whose planets were close to this world; otherwise, Silvermoon wouldn’t have been able to spy on them.

He believed in the Moon Goddess’s hidden abilities, and given how fiercely She fought the Elven God King, it was impossible for that world to detect Her presence.

So, was this a war that had affected all the nearby planets, with only this world holding up while the worlds of the Dwarves and Elves were destroyed?

But how did they manage to escape here?

A newborn world is actually quite hard to be discovered.

Then he helplessly remembered that the Goddess of the Silvermoon had stolen the World Tree Seed from someone else’s planet.

Perhaps the Sun God and Silvermoon had indeed suppressed these seeds thoroughly, but in the face of a formidable enemy and with the world shattering, it was utterly impossible to keep paying attention to these seeds.

When the Elves were fleeing, they wouldn’t have abandoned their World Tree.

It was only natural for the World Tree to sense the presence of these seeds.

Crossing the universe is no easy feat, but having a place to flee to, even if it was a shattered world, meant survival for these two races.

Besides, if that enemy really was vanquished by the Three Gods, it made sense for these Elves and Dwarves to seek refuge here.

In the beginning, they were quite obedient, but after many years, with neither the Earth, the Sun, nor Silvermoon showing any signs of waking, they began to entertain the thought of occupying this world.

The Elven God King secretly shattered the halo around the moon, thinking that it was the essence of the Silvermoon artifact. Since it was so easily broken, the Goddess of the Silvermoon might indeed have perished, or if She still existed, it might take Her millions of years to recover.

It was only too natural for any Elf to reach for the moon, and they had Moon Elves around them whose minds were unknowable and who could be used.

The Dwarves, of course, would set their sights on the Earth.

No Dwarf would ever forgo the desire to covet the Earth.

After Elves extracted the Wood Element from the Earth, aside from Druids, they didn’t pay much attention to the soil.

They weren’t afraid of the Dwarves, thinking these beings were only interested in the Earth Divinity and would never harm the foundation of life for the Wood Element.

They considered the Dwarves’ most direct opponents to be Humans and Magical Beasts. Before their success, the relationship between Elves and Dwarves was simply a case of the well water not disturbing the river water, but the Dwarves had long included the Elves among those they needed to deal with.

The Elves probably didn’t anticipate that these Dwarves were so deeply entwined with the Abyss.

If the Dwarves were really allowed to contaminate the Earth like this, what would it matter if the Elf Deity System could defeat the Dwarf Deity System? They would still have to abandon their homes once again, leaving behind a world demonized.

Unfortunately, they underestimated the resistance of the World Will.

They also didn’t expect that the failed Wolf King and Lake Goddess had actually managed to awaken Silvermoon.

Hill leaned against the window of the Cloud House, looking toward the direction of the Forest of the Elves.

Although the trees were all very tall, there were none that reached the sky.

Where was the Elves’ World Tree hidden?

Hill felt glum for a while, then took out the Seed Pouch again.

The Elves had many secrets; it was normal for him to not uncover them. He believed William had some idea, or else why continue the fight?

He wanted to count the seeds of the giant moss right now.

The seeds he had given to William were just the few with the best effects.

But if the dwarves really intended to use the power of evil to corrupt the earth, he might need more seeds.

Hill clutched a few seed pouches and flew towards Spencer’s location.

He had noticed earlier that William had once again entrusted the task of dealing with the Undead Tribe to poor Spencer.

This new group was not from the same nation as the previous ones, and their way of thinking was probably different.

William could barely understand the previous group, but it wasn’t certain he could do the same with the new arrivals.

But he could pass the buck! Spencer was becoming the king of being dumped on.

Hill didn’t want to deal with these foreigners either, so while Spencer was still there, he quickly handed off the matter to him.

With a grave expression, Spencer listened to Hill’s suspicions.

He took the little pouch from Hill and nodded, "I’ll arrange for people to plant more underground near the Dwarf Kingdom, to prevent a surprise demon attack someday."

Although Spencer’s understanding of the matter was completely different from what Hill thought, Hill couldn’t tell others about the deficiencies of the earth.

In fact, Spencer’s idea wasn’t wrong. If the underground of the Dwarf Kingdom was filled with filthy demonic qi, who knows how many demons there would be!

And after hundreds of thousands of years, one couldn’t even imagine what level these demons might be!

However, Hill felt that the dwarves weren’t that foolish; they were evil, not brain-dead, to raise demons under their own land.

Only humans, who knew nothing, would do such a foolish thing.

Focused only on the longevity of demons and even the fact that Professionals weren’t needed - one could directly transform.

If it was really that great, why would the dwarves give you isolation arrays and then stay far away themselves?

Hill remembered that both the dwarves and the elves, although their living areas seemed easily accessible to the city center, in reality, lived on the outskirts of the city.

They lived in places where they could escape at a moment’s notice.

The elves, on one side, appeared to be around the Lord’s Mansion because they were isolated by a large mass of vines and trees.

The dwarves on the other side needed no mention, with their long shops and slaughterhouses next to the Lord’s Mansion, but their residential area was at the very back, separated by a forest in between.

Perhaps there were good people among the elves and dwarves, but those who lived here, there wasn’t a single good thing about them.

Hill then flew over to the sunflowers to have a look. Although the Undead Tribe had taken away many seeds, the sunflowers still covered the entire little house.

The Undead Tribe was constructing an oval-shaped venue a little distance away.

Hill put on a hairpin that granted invisibility and blended in there.

William thought that the previous house was quite deep, and even though the sunflowers covered the ground, the purification of the deeper soil would be slower, so he had the Undead Tribe build a sports stadium-like structure.

Spread out the corrupted soil as much as possible, and once the soil was completely clean, this place would be turned into a Sunflower Park.

It was also a good opportunity to give these new undead a task of building houses.

After listening carefully for a while, compared to the time when the Undead Tribe had just arrived, when he could hear the real conversations of the Undead Tribe just by concentrating, he could now only hear what the God of Time and Space’s Divine Artifact translated and adapted.

This Divine Artifact, unbeknownst to when, had become so powerful.
