It’s been five days since Claudia had been locked away. By now, Frank was already aware of his daughter’s punishment and even if Elisa had asked him to do something about it, there was nothing he could do.

Alanis had told him about everything. Claudia has caused this trouble for herself and had to bear the consequences this time.

Now seated on his plush seat in his study, Frank looked through the files on the table and sighed. He had no idea why he hadn’t had a heart attack yet.

"It’s going down." He muttered beneath his breath to the man standing before him.

"It is, and a few customers have complained about our products being... Bad." The young man said. "The reviews are quite disheartening." Frank pressed his temple as he listened. He was slowly losing his mind.

Whoever had hacked into their system before had destroyed things worth billions, and even if he had spent the same billions to regain it, he just couldn’t. No one could.

He has done everything to get the company active again. He has hired the best business analysts and critique thinkers, but none was able to help him. Frank was tired of spending money.

This time he thinks they are really going bankrupt. The wealthiest family in all of Halkhalls going bankrupt in the blink of an eye was not a good look on him or his family.

This time, selling off the company was a better option. He could focus more on his diamond company, and maybe get his daughter to work for him again.

Even if Harlow is now the CEO of Hamilton Corp, she would still work for him. She has always done what he wanted, why else would she change now?

"Have you found any potential buyer? We need to sell it off before it gets bad." He said.

"We have found one. His name is Richard and he wishes to buy the company." The young man said.

"Has he agreed to the price?"

"Yes sir."

"Then we have a buyer. I need a meeting with him tomorrow, we’ll sign the necessary agreement and sell the company."

"Yes sir." Frank watched the man leave. He would need to discuss things with his family, it was time they knew what was happening.

While Elisa sat in the lounge drinking juice and planning her daughter’s wedding with an event planner, their butler walked in.

"Madam, a man is in the yard. He is demanding to see you." The butler said gently.

"Who is that?" Elisa asked. She doesn’t recall expecting any visitors today. The only person she had called over, is the event planner seated before her.

"He’s the same tattered-looking man that always visits. He goes by the name Bodhi." Elisa’s eyes went wide. This time the butler didn’t try to hide his disdain. He still couldn’t understand what his master’s wife was doing with such a man. Given that she was already married to a wealthy man like his master.

He shook his head gently, women can never be satisfied, can they?

Elisa didn’t need to hear more. She rushed out of the room, thinking, If Frank sees that man, then she’s toast.

On the front porch, there he was, Bodhi, standing in his usual ragged style, looking as tattered and smelly as ever. "What are you doing here?" Elisa demanded, quickly placing a finger over her nose to block out the unpleasant smell. She really couldn’t stand him anymore.

Back then she was desperate and needed someone to help her get close to Frank. She loved him so much but he never loved her back. Just like Claudia she had been desperate and she did the unspeakable.

Bodhi used to be Frank’s close friend, he promised to help her but first, he wanted to have a taste of her. Elisa agreed to it, but she had no idea she would get pregnant.

Back then, Bodhi wasn’t always like this, he had the money and charm and women always flocked around him. But he changed when he lost everything. He got so addicted to drinking that he couldn’t change the future anymore.

He had set her up with Frank even if he knew his friend was getting married to another woman and forced his child on his dear friend. This was the reason Frank had stopped being his friend, it was because his friend had caused his problem.

They hid Claudia for years and years, and when Elisa couldn’t take the shame anymore, she visited Frank and begged to be a second wife or side chick. Harlow’s mother found out about it and asked for a divorce. She couldn’t stand her husband having a child with another woman, a child that was almost the same age as her daughter.

Their divorce was being finalized and then all of a sudden, she died.

Though Frank still sees her death to be normal, Elisa knows the terrible things she has done to be where she is today. She knew that stupid woman was going to take Frank’s wealth with him if they divorced so she killed her instead.

In the end, she’s happy because she has married Frank and become his legal wife.

"Why the anger my dear? I’m not here for you, I need my child." Bodhi said calmly and Elisa gritted her teeth. She had no idea why her little self trusted this man and had that child for him. If it were up to her, she would have killed him long ago.

Elisa’s temper flared. "I’ve told you to stop coming here! If you need something, just call. You don’t want me to end everything, Bodhi. I really wouldn’t hesitate, and I bet even our daughter would be happy about it."

Bodhi stared at her in silence, his green eyes watching her closely. "This is unacceptable!" He yelled. "You wicked woman, you have turned my daughter against me!" He screamed above his voice and Elisa panicked. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

This was bad, Frank might hear his scream and come now. "Keep it down Bodhi, that’s not what I meant." Elisa tried to calm him down but it only made him shout more. His voice louder than before.

"Everyone, this evil woman is hiding my daughter away from me!!" He continued the shout.

"I’m sure your husband is around. Let’s see how he reacts when he finds out about the truth." Elisa frowned, her heart racing wildly. She didn’t know what else to do. If this man exposes her today, then it’s the end.

"No stop, I’ll give you anything you want, just stop." She said.

At the same time, Frank stepped out of their mansion.
