"I... I don’t know if I saw correctly, but I think Claudia is not your real sister." Ava said and Harlow smiled.

"What is wrong with you Ava?" Harlow laughed. "Of course, Claudia is not my real sister, she’s my step-sister. Father’s big mistake." Harlow said. It was nothing new. Everyone knew Elisa and Claudia were her stepfamilies, not the real ones, Ava was very much aware of this too.

Harlow stared at the woman. She wasn’t old enough to start forgetting things.

"No Miss Harlow, that’s not what I meant," Ava said.

"So what are you talking about? You see Ava, if you have any problem remembering anything you can tell me, and I’ll take you to the hospital." Harlow suggested, but her maid shook her head. Ava didn’t like that Harlow was not paying attention to her.

"What I meant was that she’s not your father’s daughter. Which means she’s not related to you in any way." Ava finally said and Harlow paused.

What did she just hear?

Was this the reason, Claudia desperately wanted the document? Because she didn’t want the secret to be revealed?

Harlow shook her head vigorously. That was humanly impossible. Ava had told her when she was little that her father made Claudia undergo a series of DNA tests before he accepted her as his child.

So why wouldn’t she be his daughter? She had green eyes just like Frank, and black hair. If there was anyone who needed to be questioned about being Frank’s daughter, it was her. Because she had red hair.

"That’s not possible Ava, maybe you saw it wrong," Harlow said.

"Miss Harlow I know you would say this. That is why I wanted you to see it for yourself. The report was there, Claudia is the daughter of someone else. Elisa pinned the pregnancy on your father so that she could marry him." Ava said.

So everything was a lie? The lies that gave her mother a heart attack. The lies that killed her mother.

It is no wonder Elisa had desperately wanted another child but failed terribly. Atlas, she gave up her child hunt.

Harlow smiled. Those two imposters had the guts to punish her for years, send her out of her father’s mansion, and try to steal what rightfully belonged to her. She clenched her hands into a fist at her side.

It was time for them to pay. She was truly going to kick them out of her family for good.

"Miss Harlow, please no one has to know I told you anything. I may be wrong like you said, so it’s best to have solid evidence about it." Ava said and Harlow nodded.

"I know you’ll be in serious trouble if this gets out Ava. Plus, I’m not stupid to just attack them, father will never believe a word I say." She said.

"Thank you, Miss Harlow." At that, Ava hurried out of her bedroom, leaving Harlow to her thoughts. Though Ava had said a few things, Harlow knew she had to find out the truth herself. For all she knows, Ava might have mistaken everything.

She stepped inside the bathroom immediately. She needed to pay her dear sweet stepmother and sister a visit. This would be her revenge for all the things they had done in her past and this life.

She’ll take them back to the gutters where they belong.

Once she was done bathing she hurried inside her closet and got dressed. She had a meeting at the office, but her family issue was more important so she’d have to ask Alanis to handle that.

All dolled up in a beautiful white lace dress, Her hair was tied into a loosed bun. Her purse in her hands. She adorned herself with her customized diamond jewelry as she stepped out of the room. Right now, Harlow looked nothing like a sexy fairy straight out of a fairytale land.

When she arrived in the lounge, she was greeted by Alanis, who spoke to a servant. His voice was low and before she could get to them, the servant walked away. Her heart skipped on seeing him. She didn’t expect to see him in the Villa today.

Alanis has managed to trap her at a spot. For some reason, he looked even more handsome today. His usual dark hair covered a section of his face. He bit on his lower lips and Harlow could feel her temperature already rising. Her grip on her purse tightened as she stared at him.

Her feelings for this man couldn’t be coming back, could it?

"Good morning my beautiful villain." Alanis greeted with a polite smile. "How was your night?" He asked as his eyes roamed over her in a glance, taking in her appearance.

Harlow fought so hard not to react stupidly to anything he said. She had no idea when she started feeling this way, but this needs to stop.

When she said nothing to Alanis, he went on to say, "You’re all dressed up, but the meeting is in three hours?" He asked.

"I... I won’t attend that today, I have something really urgent to attend to. I’ll leave you to it." Alanis nodded.

"And the analytic team?"

"What about them?"

"They have a new project to handle and are having little issues with them." She smiled. Those people cannot solve little problems on their own, so how about when she merges her father’s company with theirs? What will they do then?

"I bought father’s company and the opening will be next week. I plan on merging both companies together." Harlow said. She had used Richard to get the company from him when she heard he wanted to sell it off. She had sworn never to let the deeds of the past repeat.

"Beautiful," Alanis remarked. "But that’s double work." He could remember working overtime in the past the first time he had merged both companies, but for some reason, everything suddenly became so easy for him.

Though Claudia had taken the credit for him, but now he knows it wasn’t her. It was this very woman before him. She had reduced his stress massively, supported him in ways he couldn’t imagine, but in the end, he had hurt her.
