Frank’s shocked expression amused Harlow as she spoke. "What?" Frank yelled in surprise. "You knew before now?" He asked. "Why didn’t you tell me?" He should have prepared himself for the heartbreak those two gave him if Harlow had told him beforehand.

"If I had told you, you would never have believed me." Frank swallowed his words immediately. He knew Harlow was right, if she had told him, he would have sent her out of his family instead. He loved Claudia better than her, back then, to him, Harlow was a spoilt child and needed discipline.

Frank knew he owed her more than an apology. There’s nothing he can do now to pay back for all the times that he hurt her. His precious daughter.

"B... But a hint would have been better." He said.

"That’s why I bought the company and ruined the diamond company. If I hadn’t destroyed you, they would never have exposed themselves." She said.

"Wow, look at you, as smart as your father now are you?" Frank was impressed. But Harlow’s next word shattered his little happiness.

"I’m as smart as mother. Father is a foolish man." Frank’s smile faltered. Of course, he was foolish. He would accept her insults. He has been foolish all his life.

"Where will you live now? I heard she’s taken over the mansion." Harlow asked. The mansion was not that hard to retrieve, but the real estate and other private properties Elisa had stolen were quite hard. Though Alanis had promised he would help her get it back, she didn’t want him involved in her family matters again.

"You have nothing to worry about. I see that light now, that woman is foolish if she thinks she has taken everything away from me." Frank said shocking his daughter.

After Harlow destroyed his diamond company, Frank had wanted to remove her name from his will and properties but he couldn’t. It was because everything he bought was in Harlow’s real mother’s name. He did that because everything he was was because of her.

"So how will you get it back?" Harlow asked.

"Because the properties she took, are not in my name. They’re in your mother’s name and her next of kin is you. So everything belongs to you." Frank had no idea why he had made such decisions, but he was glad he did it.

Harlow sighed. This is one good thing her father has done.

"I’ll ask the nurses to discharge you. From now on, Father, you stay with me till you get the mansion back." Frank didn’t argue, he only nodded in agreement.

"Does that mean you have forgiven me?" He asked.

"Don’t push it, father. I’m only helping you out because you’re my father and those things they stole are mine." She said coldly and stepped out of the room.

When Harlow arrived at the reception, she was greeted by Alanis again. "Are you done?" He asked the moment his eyes fell on her and she nodded.

"I need to talk to Evan. I need a favor from him." Harlow said.

"What kind of favor?" She bit on her lower lips before parting her lips to speak. After vomiting almost all of her plans to Alanis, they both headed to the doctor’s office to get Frank discharged.

In no time, Frank was taken back to the mansion, while Harlow and Alanis went ahead to visit someone special.

"No matter what happens Alanis, please don’t get involved like always." She said while on their way to their destination.

"I won’t get involved unless someone is trying to hurt what’s mine. But promise me, you’ll do everything I want once we’re done with all of these." Harlow nodded.

She had no idea what he wanted, but she would do it anyway. Alanis has been more than helpful to her. Even if he had no idea of her past, he has helped her get revenge on the people who hurt her, including his own family.

While both people headed for their destination, Alanis sent a message to his best friend and Evans did as asked without a word.

Since he was the kind of the media, it was easy for him to get publications to announce the news from Frank Blackwood himself. The internet was already in shambles by the news as everyone wondered if the news was true or just a rumor.

Everyone was confused. Some believed the news since the sources of the news were from legit publications and others refused to believe it. Especially, Claudia’s fans. They had all gathered on her page, asking a series of questions but Claudia was not online to see all of it.

During the time of evening, Claudia walked softly to the garden where the rest of her family sat as they celebrated their little victory. Her baby bump was already protruding and she was super excited everything was moving smoothly for them.

All she had to do right now was take over the company and get Harlow out of the picture for good. Claudia had just one week to do that. She had only a week to get into Hamilton Corp, one week to pay the money she owed. She couldn’t afford to lose.

Behind the sweet masked smile, she showed everyone was a worried Claudia who was on the verge of losing her mind. The loan sharks will definitely kill her if she doesn’t pay up and Harlow is the only thing in her way.

In the past, they had also come for her but she had used Alanis to clear all of the debt, blaming Harlow for it and saying Harlow used her as the collateral.

Claudia did so many mean things to her fake sister, things she wasn’t sorry for. If given a third chance, she would do all of them to Harlow over and over again.

She would make sure she killed Harlow to the point of not existing anymore.

While the Hamilton’s and Elisa’s new family ate and merried together, a sleek black car pulled at the entrance of the large mansion. Harlow stared at the huge building before her a soft sign escaping her lips.

"Are you sure you don’t need me there?" The man beside her asked and she nodded. She didn’t need him to always protect her all the time. She can fight her own battles.

"I can handle myself." She said to see him nod.

"But if they try to hurt you, just know I would never listen to you again." He warned as she stepped out of the car.

"Who’s that?" Claudia asked.

"I have no idea. Is anyone expecting any guests today?" Garth asked. Since they were told that Alanis had moved his wife and grandmother from the Hamilton’s Villa, they had also moved into Frank Blackwood’s mansion.

Elisa has promised that this place would be their new home. The home where they would raise her coming grandchild.

"I don’t think I’m expecting anyone today," Elisa said.

"Neither are we." The others responded. They were all still wondering who had arrived when they saw a familiar figure step out of the car. Her red hair flowed with the wind and her bright green eyes scanned the entire place.

She has asked her hubby to stay back in the car while she faces her family herself, but what Harlow hadn’t expected was for every member of both her family and Alanis’s family to be present today. The same people that had joined forces in the past to destroy her and her child. She could see them all eating and drinking together.

She smiled. Today was truly going to be a sweet day. Though she was here to cause a little trouble, she would state her reason for coming and leaving.

Harlow’s steps were calm as she approached them, her heels clicking against the brick floor. Her white dress flowed with the wind and she quickly held the sides to stop it from revealing too much.

Even if she was here for her last altercation and taunting, she didn’t want Alanis’s punishment for any little mistake. That man was like the devil, waiting for a slight mistake, little mishaps to get close to her.

"Well, look who we have here?" Claudia said with a forced smile.

Alanis watched his wife from the car, his hands on the door handle waiting for a little mistake to put these people in their place. Left for him, he would have dealt with them the same way he did the doctor who had killed his child in the past. He didn’t need evidence, but his doing that would only make his little woman suspicious of him.

He didn’t need her to find out about the past, especially since she had yet to fall in love with him. All he wanted was for all of their problems to be over so that he could spend his remaining days peacefully with her.

"Harlow, how come you never said you were coming?" She added.
