Claudia was still in her thoughts when a pair of well-polished black shoes stood before them. Claudia didn’t know whether to be happy or sad that he was here. For the first time in her life, she saw her father as her savior.

"How did things get this way?" Bodhi asked. He had not slept in the same house as them because he went out. When he woke up this morning, he had woken up to the news of their arrest.

"This is wrong." He held the rusted iron bar demarcating him from them.

"I need you to get my lawyers Bodhi, and please try to retrieve the papers from the mansion before Frank sees it." That document was her life and her only way out of there. If Frank gets his hands on it, then all of the accusations against her will be true and she will never be able to get out of there.

"You have nothing to fear, I managed to get the document before those soldiers closed the mansion completely," Bodhi said and Elisa sighed in relief.

"Then you’ll just have to give them to my lawyer. Hurry up with it, I need to get out of here." Elisa said with pride. She was tired of staying here, she didn’t belong here. She just couldn’t wait to deal with Harlow.

She couldn’t wait to put her stepdaughter in her place. She will make Harlow beg her publicly. But then even the begging will not be enough for the stress she was going through now. For the humiliation of being arrested.

She will lock Harlow away from life. Maybe kill her in here, but she will make sure her stepdaughter never comes out of prison.

"Yes, the lawyer is supposed to be here now defending us. Where is that stupid man?" Claudia asked. She was irritated by this place and wanted to leave as soon as possible.

"I think you’ll all be staying in here for a few more days." He added.

"It’s only a few days sweetheart, there’s nothing either of us can do. Harlow is accusing you all of stealing her mansion and claiming it to be yours. She said even when she asked you to leave, you refused." Bodhi said.

"But we have proof that the mansion belongs to Elisa," George said.

"Let’s hope it’s not invalid," Bodhi said.

"Harlow is just digging her grave, done she thinks Frank can stand my mother spending an hour in prison? Just watch how he’ll save her." Claudia bragged. Even if she wasn’t sure of both her and Alanis’s love, she was sure of Elisa and Frank’s love.
