The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 23: Trying to Steal Her from Him?
In the hallway, there were many guests, each looking at Yelena Hughes as if she were a madwoman.
She waved her hands wildly, and her arms were soon grabbed by Felix Wood, "Don’t make a fool of yourself."
Yelena kicked an unfamiliar guest, and the person pushed back, "What are you doing, do you have a death wish?"
Felix grabbed her hair, speaking viciously, "Forcing me to hit you here, huh?"
Yelena didn’t know where she got the strength, but she suddenly pushed Felix away.
She began attacking the surrounding waiters and guests.
As Jasper Yale approached, he saw Felix raising a hand to hit her.
Yelena leaned against the wall, her gaze sharp, like a trapped prey.
She saw Jasper approaching and suddenly opened her mouth, "Dad..."
"!" Hailey Jenkins was utterly shocked.
Jasper narrowed his eyes slightly, "Who are you calling?"
"Dad."
Everyone turned their gaze to Jasper’s face; he didn’t seem old enough.
Felix understood when he heard this call; Jasper had slept with Yelena, and it seemed they were wild behind closed doors.
He also wanted her to call him Dad eventually!
Felix became more excited, reaching out to grab her.
Yelena dodged and ran directly into Jasper’s arms, hugging his lean waist tightly, "Dad, it’s me, where have you been?"
Jasper grabbed her shirt, trying to pull her away.
But Yelena’s arms clung tightly, she looked up at him, tears overflowing from her eyes, "You’re alive, that’s great, I was so afraid I’d get a call to identify a corpse one day..."
Jasper looked at her red eyes; this was not an act.
Yelena kept calling him, Dad.
Felix walked over with a smile, "Young Master, I’ll take her away, won’t delay your business here."
"What did you give her to eat?"
"Nothing, just drank a few glasses of wine."
Yelena’s behavior was bizarre now, not like a normal person at all, and Jasper’s anger only increased, "Are you looking to die?"
Felix saw he looked displeased and quickly added, "I brought her to get a drink, someone put something in the glass, and I thought it was just some fun little thing to excite her."
"Young Master, this woman is very cunning; she’s pretending."
Yelena’s eyes were filled with tears, even her nose was red, looking very pitiful.
Jasper placed a hand on her shoulder, hugged her tight, and led her away.
Felix saw this and thought his plans were ruined, he wanted to follow but was stopped by Hailey Jenkins.
"You’re still trying to snatch her from Young Master?"
"No, didn’t Young Master say he wouldn’t help her?"
Hailey narrowed her eyes, "Who told you that?"
Felix immediately went silent, still feeling unwilling. "I saw Young Master didn’t intervene earlier."
If he hadn’t dared to continue, would he?
At the entrance of The Sovereign Club, Yelena’s body was shaking badly; she looked up at the sky.
"So many fireworks, so beautiful."
Jasper looked up; the night sky was quiet, nothing there.
"Cold."
Jasper took off his coat, wrapped it around Yelena’s shoulders; when the car arrived at the entrance, he carried her inside.
Hailey Jenkins also came out, looking at Yelena’s state. "Young Master, are you sending her home?"
"Have Aaron Payne come over, head to the Mount Arden Villa."
"Yes."
Mount Arden Villa is near the airport; Jasper rarely stays there, but it’s managed, not vacant.
When Yelena got out of the car, she was even more erratic, grabbing onto Jasper and refusing to let go, "Dad, I hurt so much."
"Where does it hurt?"
She lifted her hand, "Hurts to death."
Her fingers were still dislocated; she endured until now, only when facing ’Dad’ did she say it hurt.
Jasper’s mouth tightened, "It’ll be okay soon."
He took Yelena upstairs, and shortly after, Aaron Payne arrived.
When he saw Yelena’s condition, he knew immediately, "Did you give her Blessing Powder?"
"What’s that?"
"Its main function is to cause hallucinations, it also increases certain desires, quite popular lately. But if the dosage isn’t controlled, it can cause trouble."
Aaron heard Yelena calling Jasper Dad, he couldn’t help but find it amusing, watching with interest.
"This hallucination is a bit much. Wait, are you guys into role-playing?"
Jasper’s face was expressionless, "Her dad is missing."
"Oh," Aaron put away his smile, "She’s a pitiful girl."
"What should we do now?"
"As long as she’s not addicted, she’ll be fine after a night’s ordeal, it’ll be okay by morning."
Jasper asked Aaron to check Yelena’s hand; she hid it behind her back before he could get close.
"Don’t move, it hurts."
"Are you planning to keep your finger crooked like this?" Aaron leaned closer, finally seeing her face clearly, she was a born beauty, her features seeming drawn with a fine brush.
Yelena was scared of the pain, shaking her head, she hid her palm tightly.
Aaron looked helplessly at Jasper, "Young Master, help me out."
"I’m not a doctor."
"But you’re her ’Dad,’ she’ll listen to you."
"..." Jasper approached, not knowing how to convince her, he touched Yelena’s head.
"Be a good girl, he’s a doctor."
Yelena’s eyes were still wet, "No, he’s a bad person, I don’t trust him!"
Except for Jasper, everyone else looked like Felix to her.
Jasper brushed her face lightly, "See the doctor, I’ll buy you candy."
Aaron looked at him in shock, even if playing the role of her dad, he didn’t need to coax her like this.
But what could Jasper do, did he have experience?
After saying this, even he felt uncomfortable.
Yelena finally stretched out her hand, Aaron lifted it and checked, "How did it end up like this?"
Jasper saw her staring at her hand, he covered her eyes.
When Aaron reset her finger, the pain couldn’t be avoided; Yelena shouted out in pain, burrowing her head into Jasper’s chest.
"Hurts, hurts so much."
Her arm was raised, not daring to move, Aaron checked, "Pretty smooth, otherwise there’d be more work."
Yelena’s head moved, her little face innocent and earnest, "Where’s the candy?"
In the middle of the night, where would Jasper find such a thing?
"I’ll owe you; tomorrow I’ll give it to you."
Yelena’s features scrunched together; in her mind, Dad never lied to her.
Aaron had nothing more to do here; he could leave.
Before leaving, he gestured to Yelena, "Your dad has candy hidden on him, but he just won’t give it to you. It’s this big, this long..."
Aaron placed two fingers together, "It’s a lollipop, try finding it."
"Scram!"
Aaron didn’t wait for Jasper to speak before he ran off.
Yelena looked up, tears streaming down, "Why lie to me again? Just like you said that day, you said you’d come back soon, but how long has it been?"
It’s just candy, isn’t it?
"Do you really want to eat some?" Jasper asked hoarsely.
