The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 99: Seeing Her Like This, He Nearly Lost His Mind
At this moment, Shawn Thorne seemed like he had been pushed into a nest of goblins, bewitched and enchanted.
Even if Yelena Hughes could really devour him, he would accept it.
He walked up to her, took the bottle of water, and drank it down in one go.
Yelena watched the rapid movement of his Adam’s apple, and after Shawn finished drinking, he crushed the bottle with a crackling sound.
"Master Thorne, I’m going to take a shower."
"I’ll join you."
Yelena lightly pushed his chest with her small hand, "It’s just a matter of minutes, can’t you wait?"
Shawn indeed felt unbearably tempted, but it was impossible for the drug’s effects to kick in so quickly after ingestion.
"Hurry up."
Yelena quickly stepped into the bathroom, locked the door, turned on the shower, then bent over the toilet, sticking her fingers down her throat.
She retched, the sound of the water covering her gagging.
Ignoring the discomfort, as it got worse, her stomach convulsed, and she vomited.
After a few tries, she finally managed to stand up.
Yelena checked the time; it was almost two o’clock, but she feared something might change. What if the location switched or the timing altered at the last moment, what would she do?
Yelena splashed cold water on her face, abandoning all concerns.
She removed her clothes piece by piece.
First the coat, then the sweater and pants.
Shawn was getting impatient waiting outside, knocking on the bathroom door, "Are you done?"
"Almost."
She couldn’t delay too obviously; after drying her face, Yelena turned off the shower, gathered her clothes, and walked out.
Shawn was waiting at the door as she emerged, bringing the steam of the bathroom with her.
Yelena wore only a camisole and boxer shorts, Shawn’s eyes swept over her, "Why not strip completely?"
She walked to the bed, tossing her clothes onto it, Shawn’s dark eyes flickered with embers.
Hurriedly, he stripped off his shirt, reaching for his belt as Yelena flashed a provocative smile, as if teasing his very soul.
She took out a hemp rope and tossed it to Shawn.
"Master Thorne, let’s play a game."
Shawn grabbed the rope, not expecting her to be so wild, "Is this the kind of kink Jasper Yale enjoys?"
"Not really, it’s mainly what I want to do."
Shawn tugged at the rope; it was sturdy enough.
Yelena took the other end, wrapping it twice around a column in the room and tying it tight for security before returning to him.
She extended her hands, "Tie me up."
Shawn wrapped the rope around Yelena’s wrists, circle after circle, but stopped midway.
"You better not think of tricking me, you wouldn’t be thinking of screaming for help, would you?"
"I’m already tied up by you, what’s the point of shouting for help? Wouldn’t you just cover my mouth? If you’re afraid I’ll run, just tie me tighter."
Shawn considered this and agreed.
Even if she did scream, who could she possibly call for help?
He tied Yelena up securely, adding two dead knots for assurance.
"Wait for me."
He could hardly wait.
Shawn took a quick shower in the bathroom, refusing to wear the dirty hotel robe, stepping out only in his shorts.
Yelena felt uneasy; it was already two o’clock.
She watched Shawn approaching step by step, feeling a bit intimidated, "Master Thorne, can I have the IOU today?"
"After we’re done, you’ll get it."
"Did you bring it? Let me see."
Shawn wanted to embrace her, but Yelena quickly crawled onto the bed, the room small, the bed nearly touching the window.
She nervously curled up in the center of the bed, but Shawn grabbed the rope, trying to drag her over.
"Are you afraid I won’t give it to you? As long as you satisfy me, I’ll tear up that IOU unconditionally right in front of you."
Shawn pulled her closer, holding her with one arm, his body radiating heat that made Yelena shiver uncontrollably.
Outside the window, a whistle sounded.
Yelena pushed him away with force; Shawn was just touching her arm, the smoothness nearly made him fall apart.
He watched Yelena stand up and give him a fleeting smile.
There was determination and a touch of unyielding pride.
She was merely a fragile woman, who wouldn’t be afraid of such things? Who wouldn’t risk their life when backed into a corner?
Yelena opened the nearby window, and the cold wind rushed in, chilling Shawn’s mind.
But by the time he realized it, it was too late.
"What are you doing?"
Yelena jumped onto the window ledge without hesitation, leaping out.
Her arms were pulled straight, and the bindings of the rope sent ripping pain through her skin and flesh, as if being torn apart.
Yelena couldn’t hold back, screaming in pain.
A group of people passed below, originally heading over the bridge to the factory district across the way.
Upon hearing the noise, they looked up.
Among them, one man stood out, his gaze landing on someone dangling from the window ledge.
She was swaying from side to side, the intense pain almost causing Yelena to lose consciousness.
She seemed like a doll without a soul, more like a corpse.
Her body scraped against the rough wall, left, then right, like a lone boat struggling amidst a storm.
Jasper focused intently, recognizing that face!
It was Yelena Hughes.
Shawn was terrified, breaking into a cold sweat. Without thinking, he ran to the window, leaning out with his upper body.
He wanted to pull Yelena up, "What are you doing, woman?"
"Shawn?"
The man standing next to Jasper hid his shock, quickly stepping in front of the crowd.
"Dad, I’ll handle this."
Zachary Thorne seemed as if his face had been torn off, his expression tense as he saw his son shirtless, struggling with a nearly naked woman.
Jasper watched the scene, a burning rage igniting in his chest. He lifted his leg, striding toward the hotel.
Everyone was stunned, and Shawn noticed his father and brother below.
He couldn’t believe it, staring at Yelena, "Did you do this on purpose?"
Her wrists were already bloody, and Yelena was barely breathing.
She gradually laughed aloud, the sound chilling Shawn to the bone.
Under the nearby bridge, Dean Holloway aimed his camera at Yelena.
He captured both of them in the frame, pressing the shutter as if venting his frustration.
He hadn’t expected Yelena to do something like this, was she crazy?
Hailey Jenkins followed Jasper, almost unable to keep up.
Jasper’s footsteps were anxious, he wasn’t even sure if Yelena was dead or alive. His pace was quick, the cold wind cutting his face, also shredding through Jasper’s heart.
Outside the room, after a few intense knocks, the door bounced off the wall with a bang.
Jasper entered, practically exuding an aura of murderous intent.
