From a distance, she saw four similar structures, which likely belonged to the second, third, and fourth years.

In the sky, a huge landing pad bustled with people in Battle Armor flying by and super-warplanes darting back and forth.

She remembered Xu Jinglan was from the Flight Academy, piloting various types of warplanes and airships.

Now, she thought being a pilot might not be so bad either.

"Lin Fu," a man about 1.8 meters tall with delicate features approached her briskly and introduced himself, "Hello, I’m Ivan, tasked by the teacher to help you get acquainted."

"Hello, I’m Lin Fu."

Ivan gave a shy smile, "I’ve known about your reputation for some time. Come with me! All the new first-year students are over there."

As Lin Fu walked along with Ivan, she looked around with great interest.

Ivan found it odd but didn’t say much, instead briefing her on the current situation, "Did you read the notification sent to your Light Computer?"

"I did."

"This year’s freshman class totals twelve thousand two hundred students, divided into twelve classes. Except for Class Twelve, which consists of the last thousand ranked students, the other eleven classes are allocated randomly by drawing teams."

"They say all the teams are vying to recruit you, have you decided which one to join yet?" Ivan looked at Lin Fu expectantly after finishing.

"If you haven’t decided yet, how about joining our team?"

"Is Mervin in that team?" Lin Fu wanted to join Mervin’s team, as their friendship formed through shared detention naturally ran deeper than with others.

Ivan’s eyes brightened, and he nodded happily, "Yes, our team. Mervin is the vice-captain, and I’m the captain. We have eleven people now, just waiting for you to join."

"That’s great."

They quickly arrived at the gathering place for first-year freshmen, a vast space surrounded by various weapons on display. The stage was set with a three-dimensional screen, obviously for the teacher’s lectures.

There was also a floating display panel circling around, flashing with various weapons and equipment.

Each class had its designated area, fully equipped with everything.

"Our team has been assigned to Class Two, and now every one of the twelve classes boasts a formidable top team. Class One has Nolan Romanrode’s team, extremely powerful. Class Three has Celia Glivard’s team, and three classes have your old acquaintance."

"Who?"

Lin Fu couldn’t recall any old acquaintances.

Ivan smirked mysteriously, "It’s Eugene and Dorothea, who wanted to have you as a maid."

Lin Fu was incredibly surprised, "Aren’t they second-years already?"

"They made mistakes, were penalized with serious demerits, and held back a year."

Lin Fu vaguely felt that their punishment might have something to do with her participation in the Gravity Test Competition, as she had found out before that the competition was always a basic event, never featuring a Hell Level difficulty.

Now that she was just released, the two received their penalties—too coincidental to be unrelated.
