Chapter 128: 128:The Ice Titan

The monsters were relentless.

A colossal ice troll, twice the size of any normal one, stormed through the battlefield, swatting soldiers aside like insects. It let out a bone-chilling roar, frost forming in the air around it.

BAAAM!BAM!BAAM!

The soldiers hesitated for a brief second, just enough for the beast to grab a knight who tried to swat it away but they were crushed. freёwebnoѵel.com

"GAWWKKK!"

"HUKKK!"

The huge troll didn’t know any techniques, rather it just swung arms picking the knights and crushing them in its grip. Blood splattered the snow as the creature tossed the corpse aside and charged again.

Albert, who saw this from afar, screamed," Someone take care of it."

Kael’s eyes gleamed with excitement as he stepped forward, his sword dripping with the blood of his previous kills. "Now that’s a challenge," he muttered, grinning like a lunatic.

"Leave this hellspawn to me."

He lunged forward, his sword slashing toward the massive troll. The beast roared and swung its club, but Kael was faster. He ducked low, rolled beneath the attack, and slashed at its Achilles tendon leaving a deep gash that splattered blood.

The troll staggered, howling in pain.

"Bring it down!" Albert roared.

Heru and Kassel closed in to support.

Heru smashed his hammer into the beast’s knee, shattering the bone.

Kassel leaped onto its back, driving his blades deep into its spine. Arrows rained down from above, piercing its flesh. Finally, Kael dashed forward, his blade flashing like lightning as he plunged it straight into the troll’s heart. The creature let out one final, agonized scream before collapsing into the blood-soaked snow.

Its huge body slammed down on other monsters crushing them, scattering dust of ice and blood.

"Hell yeah!"

"Praise Lord Kael!"

"Praise Lord Kael!"

The soldiers cheered loudly only to be silenced by Kael’s roar.

"Stop getting distracted and focus on fighting. Don’t let the monsters sneak attack on you."

The soldiers fought, their faces grim but determined. The air was filled with the scent of blood and burning flesh. The once-pristine white battlefield had become a hellish wasteland of bodies, broken weapons, and shattered ice. But despite the overwhelming odds, the knights and soldiers stood their ground, refusing to fall.

Looking at it, Kael laughed as he stepped over a pile of corpses, his sword still in hand. "It seems even in this new life I can’t escape the fate of fighting and taking part in wars."

"What a horrific shit."

As the battle raged on, the sounds of clashing steel and monstrous roars filled the air.

SWISH!

Kael trudged alone slashing down and cutting the monster at the front while helping the fellows who faltered.

Kael wiped the blood off his sword, his grin never fading. He turned his head, scanning the battlefield with eyes that gleamed with madness. "Not bad, not bad at all," he muttered. His gaze locked onto Vic, who was leading his squad through a cluster of hobgoblins.

Vic fought with brutal efficiency, his sword cutting through the enemy like a reaper’s scythe. Gare and Baret flanked him, keeping the monsters from surrounding them. Chris, however, fought alone, his expression one of pure irritation. He effortlessly dodged a goblin’s spear thrust and countered with a swift decapitation.

Despite their coordination, even from afar Kael could hear a few grunts.’

"Why the hell do I have to babysit these brats?" Vic grumbled, slashing through another enemy.

"We aren’t brats."Chris chided.

Kael, standing nearby, heard him and turned sharply. His grin disappeared, replaced by a dangerous gleam in his eyes. "You have a problem, Vic?" His voice was soft, but the threat in it was clear.

Vic swallowed, his body stiffening. He had seen Kael fight, seen how he moved, how he killed without hesitation, how he enjoyed it. That was not someone he wanted to anger. "No... nothing," he muttered, reluctantly falling back into formation with Vic’s squad.

Just as Kael was about to turn away, a deep, guttural roar echoed through the battlefield.

The ground trembled beneath them. From the distance, a massive figure emerged from the mist of the snowy wasteland.

It was far larger than the troll and casted a huge shadow. The moment it appeared, a few monsters even fell back in shock.

"SHITT!’

"SHITT!"

"What the fuck is this?"

"Holyshit!"

Screams of shock and panic erupted everywhere.

In front of them was a huge Ice snowman...no, it was better to call it a Ice Titan.

A towering creature of ice and bone, standing at least thirty feet tall, with jagged, frost-covered armor and glowing blue eyes that burned with a primal fury. Its breath came out as thick mist, freezing the air around it. As it stepped forward, the very ground beneath it cracked under its immense weight.

Soldiers hesitated, fear creeping into their eyes. Some even took a step back.

"Stand your ground!" Albert’s voice boomed across the battlefield.

The Ice Titan raised its massive arm and swung down, smashing through a section of the battlefield, sending knights and monsters flying like ragdolls. The impact sent a shockwave that cracked the frozen ground, forcing even Kael to brace himself.

"Finally," Kael whispered, his eyes burning with excitement. "A real fight."

He tightened his grip on his sword and took a step forward.

"Knights!" Albert roared. "Bring it down!"

Arrows and ballista bolts rained down on the Titan, but the thick ice covering its body deflected most of the attacks. Trebuchets launched massive boulders, but the creature simply swatted them away like insects.

Kassel sprinted forward, blades drawn, weaving through the battlefield like a shadow. Heru followed close behind, gripping his war hammer tightly. Vic and his squad advanced from the side, aiming for its legs.

Kael, however, walked straight toward it, his face twisted in exhilaration.

"Let’s see if you can kill me first... or if I’ll enjoy tearing you apart," he chuckled.

And with that, the true battle began.

The battlefield quaked as the Ice Titan roared, its deep, guttural voice shaking the very air. With a single swing of its arm, it uprooted an entire frozen tree and hurled it toward the knights. The massive trunk crashed down, obliterating dozens of soldiers in a split second. Snow and debris exploded outward, blinding those nearby.
