The Heavenly Dao System-Chapter 61: Red and Blue Robes
Ye Ming perceived the Lower World through the Heavenly Dao.
Apparently, the Civil War in the world had erupted badly and even caused some of the Middle World cultivators to inquire about the situation.
Very naturally, Ye Ming had the Heavenly Dao sent them away.
This was his business, so the other cultivators not belonging to Tianwu Country should just scram.
With his overbearing and allowing the Heavenly Dao to kill those who dared to disobey, the other frightened cultivators soon fled far away.
They cleverly understood that if a Heavenly Dao was killing them, it meant that a formidable power was behind the situation.
Only a formidable power could possibly influence the Heavenly Dao somehow. And for there to be no consequences showed that this formidable power could easily erase them completely—both body and soul.
Nobody would want to be killed in such a manner because it meant true death.
Once the body and soul were completely annihilated, there was no chance of going through the cycle of reincarnation and being reborn.
After scaring these buffoons away, Ye Ming started to scan the Lower World.
Simultaneously, the Heavenly Dao was clever enough to display an estimate of the people living in the world to him.
Humans: 53 billion 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
Beastkin: 10 billion
Spirit Beasts: 5 billion
Demons: 3 billion
Ghosts/Undead: 2 billion
Celestials (Mixed Bloodlines): 200,000
Draconians: 100,000
Elemental Beings: 50,000
Abyssal Beings: 10,000
There were a total of 9 types of races in the Lower World.
Ye Ming reckoned there would have been more types if he were to check other higher worlds. But as of now, he was quite surprised that the population had decreased by a lot since the start of the civil war.
Based on the statistics provided by the Heavenly Dao in this particular world, there were an estimated 100 billion.
However, that number had since dwindled down to 70 billions and 360 thousands.
The human race went down from 75 billion to 53 billion in just 3 months.
"There’s also Celestial race huh." Ye Ming muttered. These Celestial races had a mixed bloodline due to them being reincarnated folks from actual Celestial or they were descendants of it.
Naturally, most of them had a very faint connection with the authentic celestial bloodline. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been in the Lower World, which was more often or not referred to as the Mortal World.
Rather than looking at the statistics, Ye Ming decided to inspect the scene further through the Heavenly Dao.
Tianwu Country, Fushang Forest
At Fushang Forest which was the territory of those in the Tianwu Country, there were multiple cultivators dashing by.
Explosions and spells were launched everywhere, causing tremors to erupt within the forest and burning down the trees.
One group of people wore blue robes whereas another group wore red robes.
After inquiring about the situation with Heavenly Dao a bit, Ye Ming came to an understanding that blue represented Tianwu and red represented Heaven Pardon.
Currently, the blue side was being chased relentlessly by those on the red side.
Funny enough, this was happening in the blue side territory, which gave Ye Ming a sense of who was currently winning.
As Ye Ming was focused on the projection screen, overseeing the scenes like some spectator, Qing Lan asked in concern. "What are you doing, Young Master?"
Since the projection screen was private to Ye Ming, she had no idea why he was staring at some walls.
Realizing the situation, Ye Ming quickly permitted her to see the projection screen and explained the situation.
Astonished, Qing Lan was taken aback that Ye Ming was currently watching a battle scene revolving around the Lower World.
Although she had long discarded her emotion attached to her home world, it would be a lie to say she wasn’t affected by the scenes.
After all, it was like witnessing your own cherished country embroiled in a civil war. No matter who won, it wouldn’t nullify the loss of lives.
Truth be told, she was quite uncomfortable seeing the scene of her world’s people trying to kill each other. This was especially so when the cause was related to her Young Master’s decision.
Meanwhile, Ye Ming noticed her discomfort.
"Do you want me to stop the civil war?" He questioned. He had no connection with these people, so to him, it was the equivalent of watching a drama.
Qing Lan bit her lips softly and seemed uncertain about whether to answer or not.
"You can be honest." Ye Ming commented.
A few seconds later, Qing Lan nodded her head lightly. It was hard for her to speak up and go against someone who had saved her from the crisis and granted her this opportunity.
Without further ado, Ye Ming quickly shifted his view back to the fight scene.
At this moment, the blue sides only had three women and two men remained, having lost two of their companions.
As for the red sides, they had four women and six men, having only one of them injured slightly.
5 against 10. Moreover, the high number count had a higher cultivation realm than the lowest number.
"Heavenly Dao, stop the fight and restrict both sides from making a move." Ye Ming ultimately commanded.
...
Fushang Forest
"Tianwu people, this is your retribution!" One of the men dressed in red robes snorted coldly.
"Your Tianwu has always been arrogant and even wanted to nurture someone to split open the sky for you to soar. But who would have thought that not only did they fail, but they also incurred the Heavenly Wrath!"
"Stop talking to them." A woman dressed in similar red robes that were clearly designed for women intervened. "We’ll need to extract information from them to search for the culprit."
When the blue robes people heard their talks about extraction, their faces turned ashen white.
The extraction of information didn’t mean torture or coercion.
Instead, it was a direct soul search and such a technique would immediately cause the person to die once the soul search was done. Additionally, it was also a very painful process.
