The Lust Lord Librarian-Chapter 83: Earth Artefact Three
Olympia Hightower’s eyes went wide as she heard Adal had exposed her. Her first instinct was to run, which she tried to do, but it was to no avail.
She only managed to take a few steps before she was blocked by a small bronze woman dressed in white. She had a dagger drawn and pointed towards Olympia’s stomach. A smile spread across her pretty face.
"A Snow Elf, huh? Isn’t this place a little too hot for your pale skin to handle?" Nimrodel spoke with her thick accent.
Olympia audibly gulped. She felt certain that her life would now be taken from her.
Nimrodel pushed the dagger slightly, and dragged it down in a slow manner, opening the woman’s dress and exposing her pale stomach.
She looked over at the librarian.
"Mind if I kill her here?"
"Please, no!" Olympia cried.
Adal noticed that her screams were disturbing the visitors. Penelope had emerged from her room, and stood on the second floor, watching events unfold below with a confused look on her face.
He let out a sigh.
"Do you not want to question her first?"
Nimrodel blinked as though the idea had never come to her mind.
"Yeah, you’re probably right."
Adal took Olympia in a careful grip and guided her up the stairs. Nimrodel followed closely behind.
"Where are you taking me? Please, don’t hurt me!"
Adal ignored her.
As he passed Penelope, he leaned towards the woman and whispered into her ear.
"Are you alright with handling things down here for a few minutes?"
"Sure..." She said, glancing down at Nimrodel, who was flipping her dagger casually. "Do you want me to call for help. My brother Pryce might—"
"No, I will be fine. Trust me."
He kissed Penelope on the forehead and squeezed her buttocks slightly before carrying on past her. Immediately, her mind was at ease.
Adal noticed Olympia blushing at the sight of it. He decided to read her Lustful Thoughts, which revealed she missed being touched by her Prince in that same manner.
He then glanced at Nimrodel. The woman looked at him strangely, as if she didn’t understand the act of romance.
There were no Lustful Thoughts on her mind.
...
The trio entered one of the guest rooms, and Adal closed the door behind him.
Nimrodel took a position beside him, whilst Olympia was slowly filtered to stand beside the bed.
Once there, she continued to plead for her safety.
She made all sorts of offerings. Money, secrets, and at some point, even her body. That earned her a smack from Nimrodel, who was angered that the woman would even suggest such a thing.
Nimrodel turned to Adal, who was yet to give his input.
"I thought you had questions that you wanted to ask her?"
"Hmm, me? No, I simply wanted her away from my visitors. Whatever you wish to do with her is your decision."
Nimrodel raised a brow at him, and her mouth opened slightly.
"Really? Hm, you continue to surprise me, human. I always thought your people were weak, yet you do shy away from discomfort."
"But," Adal held up a finger. "That does not mean I have got suggestions."
"...Go on."
"I would like to use her in the upcoming war."
"Use her?" Nimrodel looked at the shivering elf. "But she is weak. Even weaker than humans."
"Yes, that is true."
Adal walked over to the woman and reached his arm out towards her. She flinched, but Adal only reached his hand into her purse and pulled out an item.
Olympia’s eyes went wide in pure shock. There should have been no way for Adal to know that she had a Magical Artefact in her purse. However, his System Scanner had revealed this to him the moment she had entered the library.
Nimrodel stepped closer and examined the foreign object. It made no sense to her at all.
Adal, however, was very familiar with the technology, and he swiftly kept it away from the women.
"W-what is that?" Nimrodel squinted her eyes.
"This is... an explosive."
"Explosive? It doesn’t look like an explosive."
Yes, that’s because it is far more advanced than the standard bombs developed here in Boen. This, my friends, has come straight from earth.
[Magic Item: Earth Artefact #6]
[Grade: ?]
[Description: Earth Artefact #6 is a highly powerful explosive that can be triggered from long range, using a mana switch]
Adal did not know the exact name of the device in his hand, but one thing was certain. It was an explosive piece of technology that had come from Earth.
Rather than using electricity, or whatever modern methods would be used back on Earth, this one could be activated using mana.
"It might not look like one, but it is highly explosive too. Olympia here had the intentions of planting explosives and blowing up those who declared themselves as enemies of the snow elves. She is more than just a spy."
She is a terrorist.
Adal immediately saw the anger that started to grow on Nimrodel’s face. Her hands twitched, itching to reach for her knife and plunge it into the woman’s face.
Then she remembered what Adal had said before.
"How can we use her then? If I tell the truth, I would much prefer to kill her here."
After having her schemes caught, Olympia was filled with fear. She felt certain that she was going to die.
But Adal had other plans for her.
"She will bring these same explosives back to the snow elves, and blow up her pretty lover."
Nimrodel’s lips twisted into a smile. It was clear that she was a fan of the idea.
Olympia on the other hand, begged.
"No, please! Anything but that! Not my prince."
As she tried to reach out a pleading hand, Nimrodel’s hand smacked her hard across the face. It must have been an augmented strike, as she was sent flying onto the bed.
Nimrodel stood over her, revelling in the woman’s fear.
"It’s funny seeing such an evil woman begging for mercy. I wonder, did you think about mercy, when coming to destroy the Librarian’s home?" Nimrodel spoke.
Tears began to fall from Olympia’s eyes.
