The draconic being raised his hand, and a massive ball of mana appeared in his palm.

He shot that ball of lightning-white mana at Aether.

The ball was too big to dodge, so Aether used its momentum and skillfully redirected its course.

The draconic being then slapped Aether across the face.

He was on the verge of losing consciousness when the draconic being was about to slap him again. Thalia shot a fireball at him.

The draconic being looked at Thalia and said,

But Thalia is only a 4th circle mage, and without her maid’s buff, her attacks were not very effective. Although Aether included her in the battle because her blasts could distract the draconic being.
