All cars parked in the same area, and there was a small pavilion outside where guests could wait or catch a breath of fresh air. She spotted him quickly, he stood out in his red traditional suit. It was such a loud color which called attention to it's wearer.

He was playing a game of go with another old man, this one was in a white traditional suit. The way they were laughing carefreely told her that they were probably familiar with each other.

She carried Majesty in her arms, opened her mouth and waved. "Grandfather, grandfather...."

The smile on her face was rather infectious as her excitement was like that of a child.

Grandpa Tai turned his head at the sound of her voice and he waved back at her with a broad smile on his face. He looked equally excited to see her.

He even abandoned his game and his friend and he walked slowly toward her.

The moment he was within close distance of her, she raised up one of her thumbs and said, "Grandfather, you look so cool today."

Grandpa Tai brightened up even more and his eyes sparkled. He touched his beard and struck a pose.

"What about now?"

"More than cool, grandfather you should be modelling for a living. No, you should be the face of TFK." she answered.

After saying it, both of them laughed loudly.

"Grandpa, we should take a picture together. It will be a shame if we let this beautiful suit go to waste." she suggested.

She knew that the elder always put effort into his outfits when he came out to meet her. It's one of the reasons why she loved indulging the old man.

She held her phone up and took a few selfies. Grandpa Tai did not hesitate to pull out his best poses.

"Young madam, I can take the pictures for you." Uncle Ju came close and said.

Alix handed her phone over and she and the elder along with Majesty stood upright for a proper picture. She held two fingers up, making the peace sign. Grandpa Tai beamed, smiling like a proud man and Majesty made his elegant face, looking fierce and adorable at the same time.

As soon as they finished taking pictures, grandpa Tai turned his head in the direction of the pavilion and yelled, "Ren Xiao Dan, come and meet my granddaughter. You said I didn't have one, come and see. The proof is here in flesh and blood."

While the elder in white walked over, grandpa Tai turned to Alix and said, "He is that famous painter Ren, the one with two paintings in the national museum. But don't let that intimidate you, I always beat him in our games of go."

Meanwhile, elder Ren who spent a good while staring at the ring finally spoke up. "You own a jewelry company. What is so impressive about being gifted jewelry? You can walk into one of your hundreds of stores and pick anything. Nobody will stop or question you."

Elder Tai waved his pinky finger in his friend's face and shook his head.

"No, no, not only is this unique but it's also a gift. Which one of my brats has ever given me jewelry as a gift? They all think just like you. Because we own a jewelry company then giving jewelry as a gift is stupid. My granddaughter is a wise woman, she understands me the most after my wife."

Elder Ren rolled his eyes and put his hands behind his back.

"One looks royal and the other looks silly." Majesty commented.

Alix smiled, barely containing the chuckles which sought to escape her lips. She was quite certain that elder Ren was the royal looking one and grandpa Tai was the silly one.

Majesty's meow attracted the attention of elder Ren and he lowered his head to take a closer look at the cat which had been silent all this while.

"What a beautiful golden cat, and so well behaved. Her shade of gold is quite deep, what kind of cat is she?"

"It's a boy." grandpa Tai said.

"What breed is he then?" Elder Ren asked.

He emphasized the word he and looked at grandpa Tai as he did that.

"His name is Majesty and he is a Maine Coon." she replied.

The system had warned her that Majesty would keep growing in size and the largest cat she knew of was a Maine coon."

"Do you mind if I paint him someday? I like his expressive eyes and the solid gold color of his fur. My little granddaughter has a cat as well but it does not have a personality. This one...." he contemplatively shook his head. "I see something special in him. He is worthy of the name of Majesty indeed."

Meow, Majesty responded.

"The human is wise. I will allow him to paint me and give him some blessings."

"Fruit it!" Alix thought.

Everyone that praised the damn cat got a blessing of sort except for her. What did she have to do for the cat to appreciate her?
