Caishen had yet to respond when someone knocked on the car door. It was Zhang Bo, and he waving his hand downwards, hinting at the them to lower the window.

Alix did as he wanted and they both looked at him. Sitting between them, Xiaobo pushed himself closer to Alix stretched his neck past Alix's chest and said, "Daddy."

"Come out." Zhang Bo used two fingers of his right hand to signal at his son.

"But I want to go with aunt Alix." Xiaobo answered.

Zhang Bo opened the car door and insisted on Xiaobo going with him. "I don't want to be alone as well. Come and keep your father company. You will be moving back in with your aunt next week."

Xiaobo sharpened his mouth and looked at Alix, hoping that she would intervene and help. He wanted to stay in the fun car which had games and snacks. His father would bore him with tales about his movies while his great grandparents mostly rode in silence or listened to the news.

As for his grandmother, she was always on the phone giving out orders or yelling at someone. Her car was the one he disliked the most.

Aunt Zhang An's car was tolerable but she always said bad things about Alix who he had come to like. He didn't want to go with her either.

"Father, why don't we all take this car?" he suggested.

"No." Caishen blurted out.

Sadly for him, Alix and Xiaobo were already scooting over and Alix ended up extremely close to Caishen. One of her legs was practically sitting on a part of his lap.

In a very reluctant voice, he said, "Seriously, do we have to?"

"It's fun, it reminds me of the bus." Alix told him.

Zhang Bo tilted his head forward and laughed. "My brother has never taken the bus." he told Alix.

"Neither have you." Caishen shared.

"Me too." Xiaobo said loudly.

He was very excited when he shared that little fact. He was proud in fact because he had something in common with his father and uncle.

Alix, initially was mortified. Grown men in their thirties that had never taken a bus, good heavens!!!. But then, she recalled how wealthy the Zhang's were and the surprise evaporated. Even Xiaobo at his young age had a car so why would he take a bus?

"For your information, I have taken a bus before. I am an actor so I have been on a bus and a train before. In my movie double edge I even took the sub way." Zhang Bo proudly shared some facts about himself.

He made sure that he looked at his brother with a jolly look of satisfaction on his face.

Caishen was unwilling to let Zhang Bo have the last word. "All those things were done on set. What exactly are you boasting about?"

Zhang Bo scoffed and refused to respond. He carried Xiaobo on his laps and said, "Son, come, let daddy show you scenes from when he rode a bus."

Xiaobo's little face fell and he pouted. He had not dodged the thing he wanted to dodge. His father was still making him watch one of his movies. He reluctantly looked at the scenes on the phone and faked excitement.

"Look, see how I leaped off the moving train and dove down. I was so cool, right? You have a cool dad. Don't be afraid to come to me and ask me for autographs for your friends. Your father is loved by all generations. I even have two month old fans." Caishen told Xiaobo.

Alix snorted and put a hand over her mouth. Then, she buried her face in Caishen's chest and guffawed. Zhang Bo had quite the big ego and he was very funny.

"Sister-in-law, why are you laughing?" he asked.

He had heard her the moment she snorted. She was also his fan now that he recalled.

Alix raised her head and said, "Your brother poked my waist."

Caishen's head dropped and he gave her a look.

Alix lowered her eyes, and busied herself with searching for aa snack in her special backpack which the system rewarded her with.

As she ripped open a packet of wheat and milk biscuits, Zhang Bo stared at his younger brother with a very judgmental look in his eyes. It was understandable that he liked his wife but poking her in a moving car when their were other people in the car was too much.

"Mmm." Alix extended the biscuits to Xiaobo who took them happily.

"Thank you aunt."

"Do you guys want?" she asked the two brothers.

She had like ten of them in there and even more snacks of other varieties which she packed from home. So, she opened another one for herself as she waited for them to respond.

"He is on a diet." Caishen answered for his brother.

"It's my cheat day." Zhang Bo retorted His hand went straight into the packet of biscuits in Xiaobo's hands and he retrieved three.

Then, he smirked at Caishen before shoving them all into his mouth at the same time. His cheeks bulged as he tried to chew all three biscuits at the same time.

"So silly." Caishen whispered.

How his brother was a beloved national actor was beyond his understanding. Bo was silly, like a husky sometimes. And he had an ergo the size of his head, or bigger even.

"Brother Bo," Alix called Zhang Bo happily and she handed him his own packet of biscuits.

Somehow, Caishen felt displeased and he covered her eyes with his right hand.

"Don't smile at him." he said as he turned her head his way.

"She is my fan." Zhang Bo said smugly. "Xi-Xi, I have a special fan meeting planned for next month at Hotel Pacific, do you want to come?"

Alix dragged her husband's hand down and looked at Zhang Bo with a spark in her yes.

"Really." she said loudly.

"Yes, you can bring your friends too. You said that they were my fans. I will give you all VIP tickets."

She squealed and covered her mouth. She had never thought of attending his fan meetings before because the tickets to attend cost money.

Jin Kang would dance for joy when she heard this news. Holea would surely smile coyly and Mu Mu....Alix's thoughts froze for a second.

Mu Mu, Holea's daughter was also Zhang Bo's fan but she was young so they could leave her behind.

She was filled with excitement and anticipation for the fan meet but her husband was wondering who she liked more between him and his brother.

He was so unhappy about the way Alix was smiling at him as if the sun rose from his eyes. They practically had the same face so what was so fascinating about his?

For the rest of the car ride to the hotel for the family lunch, Zhang Bo did his best to provoke Caishen.

Seeing them in this older brother-younger brother dynamic was quite interesting for Alix to witness.

"Oh, there are some things we should tell you about our family traditions." Caishen told her when they came closer to their destination.

"You haven't had the talk with her yet?" Zhang Bo, in a shocked voice asked his brother.

"It didn't cross my mind, we have both been busy." Caishen answered him brother tersely.

"I am calling mum, she will do it faster and better." Zhang Bo said.
