The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 142: Just adopt my son.
Later on in the evening, Alix and her little physical tails in the forms of Xiaobo, Majesty and Baby all went to the bedroom because she wanted to play the game.
The system had told her that a copy of ten worlds, the game could be made for others to play so she had it on her laptop but never did anything with it. In order to distract Xiaobo, she gave put the game on his phone and told him to play.
As for the cats, Majesty liked watching children's cartoons while Baby just liked being near Majesty. She downloaded some episodes of Tom and Jerry on a tablet and set it up for them.
With all the distractions dealt with, she sat on the bed with an open laptop and the cool new wireless gaming headsets which the system had given her and off her subconsciousness went, into the virtual gaming world.
Ding! You have a mission.
She had barely opened her eyes when the alert sounded in her mind.
[A strong guild must have worthy headquarters. Find a new housing for the Badass guild within a day.]
"Aaah," she said and winced as if she had been physically stabbed. "That damn name again, aaah, I had forgotten all about it."
When she last logged off, she was still in the forest of Idor, exploring the land and gathering any plants marked by the game as unidentified and new.
She released the azure dragon and jumped on Baize's back, returning to the town immediately where she reported to the task hall first.
The place was filled with noise, loud distracting noise. Both the players in the task hall and the NPC's were excited. Something major had either happened or was about to happen, she thought.
"Blue___, err, C-101, what did I miss?"
"There you are," Someone said and grabbed her arm from the back.
"Hi," she said to the familiar assasin that was in the company of the paladin. "Hello," Alix said to her as well.
"Alix, Hero and Hero this is Alix." Dark death introduced them to each other rather rapidly.
"Hello." The paladin greeted her back.
"Now that we have all met, let's go take on those small Licademons and win the map." she said.
Completely out of the loop, Alix asked her, "Take what on? But hold on, I need to hand in my catch and receive my payment."

She went to hand in the heart of the dryad witch, the map the game had drawn with every discovery she made and the new herbs, fruits and plants.
"I had forgotten that you had just arrived so you didn't hear about the open to all task with a reward of two whole maps to the dark wizard's castle." Dark death explained.
"Come forward." an NPC told her.
Alix stepped up to the booth and turned in everything. The NPC, a half human-half orc female that was wearing glasses which reflected her pink eyes as she looked at Alix in surprise.
She put everything in a transparent tube for scanning and the results appeared on a virtual screen that only she, a task hall worker could see. Then, she raised her head and looked at the two behind Alix. It was obviously Dark death and Hero.
"Solo mission or team mission?" she asked.
"Solo." Alix answered.
"Congratulations." she said.
She vanished from her booth for precisely thirty seconds and then returned and handed Alix a map and other rewards in a sealed box.
Alix of course put the rewards away quickly to stop prying eyes from analyzing them.
"Is that....?" Dark death asked.
"Not here." Alix told her.
Dark death looked at Hero and said smugly, "Aren't you glad now that you joined our team?
The paladin did not respond but verbally but Alix noticed that she rolled her eyes. The player was apparently one who preferred to keep an air of mystery. The less she spoke, the more curious Alix became about her.
"Let's go kill some Licademons now." Dark night said.
She slipped over to the spot where Alix had been at the booth and accepted the task on behalf of the Badass guild.
As soon as she returned, she looked at the other two and said, "Hurry, the task is open to all and the reward is great so every player in the game is going to be there."
She was right of course, because the players were rushing out of task halls in different towns around the cities. The task was simple, the individual or team which killed the Licademons chief won.
All three members of the Badass team took to the skies. The paladin with her white wings and Dark death on Baize's back with Alix.
"I can't wait to get my own flying beast. This is too much for my ego to take." Dark death shouted as they set off.
In the real world, Zhang Bo and Caishen returned home after their night out. Both, were surprisingly still sober but Zhang Bo reeked of cigarettes and wine.
He was also in a great mood because he was singing So Mi's new song, "So nanana."
Very agitated, Caishen groaned and said, "Stop singing, my ears can't take it anymore."
Zhang Bo had played the song on loop all through the ride back home and he was still singing it.
"I can't help it. The song is very catchy but if you want to blame someone, blame your wife. I heard mother saying that she was the brains behind it." He touched his chin and said, "You know, all the young actors are doing little dance challenges for this and posting on the internet. Do you think I should do it too?"
"No," Caishen answered loudly. "You are too old for that stuff."
Zhang Bo winced and shook his head. "Nuh, have you seen my abs? This is the body of a twenty five year old."
"Why are you following me?" Caishen ignored his brother's narcissistic remarks.
Those were nothing new, Zhang Bo was extremely confident about his looks.
"I have to make sure my younger brother safely gets to bed."
Caishen scoffed.
"I have issues with my legs, not my eyes." he told him.
Zhang Bo put his right hand on the back of the wheelchair and insisted on following him. A memory from their childhood which he had not thought about in a long time reared itself.
"None of that is related to me being your elder brother. Once upon a time I used to walk you to your class like this." he told Caishen.
Caishen resisted the urge to roll his eyes and pushed the bedroom door open carefully.
"Your son is here as well,"
"Tsk, tsk, that brat really doesn't try to hide his preference for your wife over everyone else. You two might as well adopt him."
Zhang Bo turned around and left, leaving Xiaobo behind.
"Hey, take him with you." Caishen yelled at him.
"For what? He might as well sleep with you two tonight." Zhang Bo shouted back.
Caishen raised his fist and punched the air, in the direction of his brother's departing back. He wondered why Zhang Bo could not read between the lines.
Did he look like he wanted to share a bed with his nephew when he could be cuddling with his wife?
