"You two look pleased this morning, I take it that you had a pleasant night." Yura could not resist making this comment because Alix was as happy as a lark and her appetite, quite voracious.

Caishen too was smiling, not as much as Alix but smiling nonetheless. It was not a look they had seen on his face during meal time so often.

"The joys of marriage." Grandma Zhang said.

She and Yura laughed. Their imaginations were a lot more presumptuous than Alix and Caishen were aware of.

Alix just smiled even brighter while Caishen sipped his milk and took a big bite out of his sandwich.

"Oh, I left Xiaobo in your room last night sister-in-law. I hope he didn't kick you or make you uncomfortable at night." Zhang Bo out of the blue, said.

Yura's chopsticks froze and she turned her head to Zhang Bo. She wasn't alone because the two elders did the same and none were too happy, it seemed.

"Why would Xiaobo sleep in their bed?" Grandma Zhang asked him.

"Yes, you are his father. If he is going to sleep with anyone shouldn't it be you?" Yura added.

"Even us, we were available. He can sleep with any of us so why would you send him there?" Grandpa Zhang emphasized the last parts of his question.

Three people looked at Zhang Bo as if he was the biggest sinner in the family. Only Zhang An didn't care.

Xiaobo was actually confused because in his little mind, everyone was trying so hard to keep him and aunt Alix apart. What was wrong with taking her car, playing games with her or sharing a bed with her?

They never complained when he slept with aunt An sometimes.

Zhang Bo in the meantime was about to call on his acting gods to rescue him from the glaring trio when Alix's phone did, by ringing and distracting everyone.

"Excuse me." She said.

"No, stay. Feel free to answer your call from where you are unless it's a private conversation." Grandma Zhang told her.

Alix stayed put and answered her call comfortably.

"Hello madam Qian." She said.

"Hello beautiful teacher Xi," the woman responded.

Ho!! Alix who was drawn back by this sudden presumed closeness exclaimed in her mind.

"En, what can I do for you?" She asked the woman.

"The owner of Fuwen academy wants to meet and sign the documents today. His children are taking him to Canada permanently. They even booked a flight and everything. He is leaving in two days so if you want the school, you need to meet him today and as soon as possible." She told Alix.

"Oh, wow, today. I can make it since I have nothing much I am doing. How much is the final figure you came to?"

"One hundred sixty five million. The buildings are quite old so the value is in the land. You are going to have to invest in new structures. Anyway, what time will be convenient for you?"

"Let's meet up for lunch. I need to get a lawyer first and arrange a few things." Alix would not allow the opportunity to slip out of her fingers.

Breakfast would have to be abandoned immediately because she was fifty five million short.

She hung up and wiped her mouth with one hand while another dialed Tai Ho Sun immediately.

TFK had promised to buy as many jades and gems as she had. If they couldn't buy, she would look for another buyer immediately.

"What's wrong?" Caishen asked her.

"Yuwen academy. I have been trying to buy it for a while now and the owner is ready to sell today." She answered.

She didn't mind if anyone at the table heard what she said. It was not a big secret that needed hiding. In fact, it was something she was proud of and wanted to share.

Zhang An was the first to comment. Apparently she didn't like hearing this very good news.

She scowled and said, "With whose money are you buying it? You have been married to my brother for only a month but you are spending millions of his money already."

Alix glanced at Zhang An barely as she stood up this time to speak privately.

"Brother Tai, I need your help."

Those were the words Caishen heard as she was walking away from the table and he lost his appetite. He looked at her retreating back and wondered what Tai Ho Sun could do for her that he couldn't.

Why was she going to him for help instead of him?

"Brother," Zhang An loudly called him. "Are you really going to give her hundreds of millions to buy that place?"

"How is it your business how Caishen wishes to spend his money?" Zhang Bo asked her. "He was named after the god of wealth and he embodies it perfectly. Giving his wife some little money will not kill him."

"Are you crazy?" Zhang An rolled her eyes in frustration. "It is called gold digging. Brother, listen to me..." she turned to Caishen.

Caishen was already in a bad mood because Alix had gone seeking for another man's help and Zhang An's irritating non stop talking was not improving his mood.

"It's not my money." He snapped at her in a low curt voice.

Zhang An did not believe her brother at all. How could it not be his money? Where else would a poor woman like Alix get hundreds of millions if not Caishen. The Lin's would not even give her one single yuan so forget about millions.

"Stop bothering your brother." Grandma Zhang warned Zhang An. "His affairs with his wife are not your business."

"Grandmother..." Zhang An whines.

She looked desperately at her mother for help but Yura looked away from her daughter. Lately, she couldn't help comparing Alix's calm nature to Zhang An's extremely spirited ways. Zhang An was too spoiled.

"Our grand daughter-in-law is doing a big thing today. How can we be of help to her?" Elder Zhang asked Yura.

"Lawyer," Xiaobo surprised everyone by contributing. "Aunt has no lawyer."

"How do you know that?" Zhang Bo asked his son.

"We play games together." He replied in an obvious tone. He even took a step further and he looked at Zhang An.

"Aunt An, aunt Alix is not poor. She has many shiny stones that her mother left for her. We counted them together when I was at her house. She had green ones, red ones and she even gave me one."

He touched his pockets and retrieved a red gem.

"See," he said proudly.
