Rongyan looked around for a waiter while Du Fuzi looked at Caishen with amusement on his face and Biming searched up all the information available to the public on the Tai family.

For sure, Caishen would want to know everything there was to know about them the next day.

Alix meanwhile arrived at the table where grandpa Tai was sitting and she smiled adorably.

"Grandpa Sun." she called cheerfully.

Elder Sun's face lit up and he responded happily, "Girl, Xi-Xi, you are finally here. I thought that I was going to have and fetch you myself."

"I came as soon as soon as I could grandpa. If I had known that you were here earlier on I would have come over to greet you." she responded.

She noticed chairman Tai Heng at the table and his wife.

"Greetings chairman." she said.

Elder Sun, in a slightly reproachful voice asked her, "What chairman? I have already taken you as my granddaughter. Just call him uncle or godfather."

Alix was not very eager to ingratiate herself with chairman Tai Heng if he did not want her associating herself with him. The man hardly spoke to her after all.

She already had one asshole of a father she didn't speak to and she was not ready for another, not that chairman Tang was a bad man. She just hardly knew the man.

Still, she did not want to disappoint elder Sun.

"I will remember to call uncle next time." she told him.

"It's okay, you can start now." Chairman Heng's wife said.

The woman looked at Alix with doting eyes and said cheerfully, "I am his wife, you have to call me aunt in that case. Don't worry, I will be glad to have a niece as beautiful and talented as you."

Alix smiled and nodded slowly, and kind of awkwardly.

"Yes, you played so beautifully. I am going to show off to all my friends that I have a talented granddaughter." Elder Sun loudly and proudly praised her.

She thought that elder Sun meant he would show off later but the old man suddenly to another old man at the next table.

"Father, stop talking or people will misunderstand." Chairman Heng bent his head over and told elder Sun.

Gossip travelled very quickly in circles like theirs. It would not take much for someone to leap from there to calling Lin Alix his bastard daughter.

Alix cleared her throat and felt the urgency to escape before the elder made any other ridiculous claims.

"Grandfather, I have another performance so I need to rush back." she said.

Alix acknowledged everyone else with a slight bow of her head and Tai Ho Sun escorted her back to her table.
