Three Treasures: Spoiled Wife Goes Wild-Chapter 1811: Let’s Be Together
The man didn’t pay attention to anything else and hurriedly left.
Glancing at Annie Anne, who was already dead drunk beside him, Campbell Prickly reached out to support her and then gently patted her face.
"Annie Anne?"
"Oliver Hudson..."
Looking at the person in front of her, Annie Anne gradually saw the outline of another.
She raised her hand to gently touch Campbell Prickly’s cheek, but the name she murmured was Oliver Hudson’s.
"Why did you come back?"
"Annie Anne, I’m not Oliver Hudson, I’m Campbell Prickly, you’ve had too much to drink."
"I haven’t drunk too much."
But clearly, Annie Anne could no longer recognize her current situation.
Agitated, she pushed Campbell Prickly’s hand away, and as if bearing immense injustice, she suddenly grabbed Campbell’s collar, bringing them closer.
"Oliver Hudson, what did I do wrong? How could you do this to me, why do you want to take revenge for past events on me? Why don’t you just kill me!"
Annie Anne questioned with agitation, spilling the words that had been buried in her heart all at once.
She clutched at Campbell Prickly’s collar, pounding on his chest, but her hands grew weaker, finally only able to lean into Campbell Prickly’s embrace.
"Why did I fall in love with you, Oliver Hudson, I’m begging you, stop tormenting me..."
Campbell Prickly’s gaze trembled, and he directly pinched Annie Anne’s chin, forcing her to look at him.
"Annie Anne, look closely, I’m not Oliver Hudson."
But what Campbell Prickly didn’t expect was for Annie Anne’s response to be a light laugh.
Annie Anne’s voice softened, like a gentle net woven with petals, but underneath it was filled with thorns.
"Of course I know you’re not him because he left and won’t come back."
Campbell Prickly’s eyes swirled with an inexplicable emotion, yet he was powerless in front of Annie Anne.
"Let me take you away from here first."
Campbell Prickly took Annie Anne’s wrist, trying to lead her away.
But Annie Anne stubbornly stood her ground; her fingertips gliding along Campbell Prickly’s wrist, finally landing on his chest.
"Campbell Prickly, you like me, don’t you?"
A smile rippled in Annie Anne’s eyes, making it momentarily difficult to tell whether she was truly drunk or just pretending.
Campbell Prickly furrowed his brow and held Annie Anne’s wandering fingers.
"You’ve had too much to drink," Campbell Prickly said in a deep voice.
But Annie Anne ignored Campbell Prickly’s words and spoke on her own: "Since you like me, then let’s... be together."
Saying this, Annie Anne lifted her chin, seemingly expecting Campbell Prickly to grant her a kiss.
Her eyes sparkled, as if filled with tiny, shattered stars at the bottom of her gaze.
Campbell Prickly’s throat moved, unknowingly wrapping his arm around Annie Anne’s waist.
The distance between the two slowly closed.
...
Early the next morning, Justin Battleson went to the hospital to pick up Charlotte Thompson.
Charlotte Thompson had meant to inform Annie Anne, but as soon as she turned on her phone, she found it flooded with news about Annie Anne.
"Campbell Prickly and Annie Anne’s Bar Kiss"
The photos in the news were indeed of Campbell Prickly and Annie Anne.
But there was no actual kiss as the headline suggested, though their intimate distance left room for wild imagination.
