Thrusted into a world ruled by women-Chapter 236: The dimension of death
"You think your mother dying is cool?" Clear asked, breathing slightly heavily.
"You think you killed my mother? Ha, that's funny."
She smirked. "She may be strong, but she's not surviving that. Do you know who I am?"
"Clear, like you said." Jin honestly wasn't interested, so he continued to look where his mother was, waiting to see what she would do. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"I'm a part of Madam Eve's secret fighting force to kill you!"
"Congrats. Want a cookie?" Jin wondered why Clear was alone, then. Eve knew how powerful he was, so there was no way she would send only one person to deal with him.
Clear lunged at Jin, but was slapped out of the air and crashed onto the ground, creating a giant crater.
To Jin, this woman was nothing at all. He was impressed by her power, but that was the extent of it.
"Nngh! H-How—"
"Hey, what are you doing, attacking my son? Our fight isn't over yet."
It was a bit puzzling for Clear to see Jessa standing above her. She honestly believed that she had killed her, despite Jin's reaction.
However, all those thoughts going through her head were useless because she had to roll out of the way to avoid Jessa's powerful punch that split the ground in half.
"How did you survive?"
"Easy, I simply didn't die." From a magic circle that appeared on Jessa's palm, four magical shuriken flew toward Clear.
She doeged the first one, watching as it tore through the trees. The second one forced her to jump into the air, but then she had to force herself back to the ground quickly to dodge the third one.
Finally, with the fourth one, she protected her hand with mana and caught the fourth shuriken, at least she tried to.
The moment the shuriken touched her hand, it tore right through it, cutting off her fingers.
"Arghhh!"
"Pretty cool, huh? A vibrational mana spell. Mana has particles as well, so I adjusted the frequency of the spell to do shit like this."
'Whoa! She can do shit like this already? That's sick. I've always said that people born in a highly scientific world would be better mages than people born into worlds where science is limited.' Jin was extremely impressed.
"Let's end this, shall we? I've had my fun already, and now, you're just boring."
Clear ran away, but Jessa's eye flashed, and time reversed instantly. She moved to Clear, picked her up by the throat, then jabbed her hand into her heart.
This should have been a clear victory for Jessa, and technically it was; however, it was a victory for Eve as well.
Before she succumbed to death, Clear smirked and muttered her last words. "I-I win, b-bitch!"
Runes appeared all over Clear's body, an ancient spell used to take out an enemy if the killer wasn't strong enough to win.
Jin acted quickly, completely destroying Clear's body so nothing would happen to his mother, but the spell transferred to the blood on Jessa's hand.
"Mom! The blood!"
Jessa not only took off the blood from her hand and other parts of her body that it might have splashed on her using mana, but she also used the Time Law to have the blood completely fade away.
This, however, didn't stop the spell. Instead, the spell activated on the blood all over the battlefield, and it extended into a massive orb that moved as fast as Jin and Jessa were able to, with runic symbols forming two circles, crossing each other like a circular X.
A gravitational force started sucking the two of them in, which made them both struggle to leave.
"W-What is that, Jin?!"
Jin couldn't believe what Eve was doing. He had fully deciphered the runes and was filled with anger.
"Divine forces!" Jin growled. "Eve is using a spell that primordial gods use to trap people they hate. It's a torture chamber meant to break the spirits of their captives. It's also meant to dicipline lower level gods."
"Can we escape it? I thought using laws would make us be able to handle powers like these!" Jessa's time law was glitching out.
"Divine power uses the laws of the universe on a larger scale. We're still mortal; they are not. But don't worry, I can get you to safety. Warn the others about my absence and prepare for an attack. Tell Jess that it's time. I'll see you soon." Using all of his power, Jin blasted his mother out of the sphere and was sucked into the center of the runic spell, disappearing alongside it.
"Don't die on me, Jin." Jessa left.
---
Jin could have escaped the Divine spell on his own, but that would have left his mother to take on this torture chamber, or what he knew it by, the dimension of death.
Everything was red. There was a sun in the sky on the horizon, and it was red as well. Water was also present in this dimension as the place was flooded. Water rose up to Jin's ankles, and it was also red, almost looking like blood.
"Spells like these are very dangerous, but they're also connected to the person who cast them. Clear did not cast it as the spell was activated upon her death. This means that once I get out of here, I can track the signature back to Eve and kill her."
Jin split space, feeling the forces of the prison fight back against his own Law. Thankfully, he was able to escape anytime he wanted with a bit of effort. The only downside was that the torture was now beginning.
"Jin. Why did you leave me? Why did you let me die?!" Oboro cried, hugging his chest with a pregnant belly.
"Oboro," Jin said softly. "I'm sorry."
"Then come back to me, to us. Let's be a family, together!"
Jin smiled. He looked Oboro in the face and stabbed her right in the belly.
"You're nothing but a figment of my past. Did you seriously think that I would fall for such an elementary illusion? Executor?"
Looking over to the side, Jin saw a being floating in the air, a construct. Every death needed judgment, and the executor was that person. They were being made from the dimension, and their jobs were to either torture the captive until they broke, or kill them if they resisted too much.
"Eve told me a lot about—"
Kai slashed the construct's face in half between the eyes.
"Let's get this started. I don't have all day."
