"Mr Gu, haven’t you heard that you can’t eat your cake and have it. It’s either you choose Yang Jia or Nie Yujie."

"My personal life has nothing to do with you."

"But Nie Yujie’s life has something to do with me, after all, we are friends. What exactly is the problem? Could it be that you don’t want to lose either of them? How selfish of you Mr Gu?"

Gu Zhen looked at Yang Meiyi with a frown and said "Of course you can, Mrs Fu."

"What binds you to Yang Jia? Before I thought it was love but seeing the way your eyes follow Nie Yujie, I beginning to doubt it and it can’t be a child, so what is it?"

"I have no idea what Mrs Fu is talking about."

"Could it be a secret? Are the both of you bound by a secret?" Yang Meiyi asked with a smile.

Gu Zhen’s frown deepened as he said "Me and Yang Jia have no secret, if you may excuse me."

Yang Meiyi looked at Fu Mingze and asked "What do you think?"

"I think you shouldn’t get involved with Gu Zhen, he is a dangerous man and I don’t like you talking to him."

"But I think it’s a secret and I won’t stop until I find out what secret Gu Zhen shares with Yang Jia, especially if that secret can destroy Yang corporation."

Fu Mingze sighed and patted her head as he said "Do what you want, I will always have your back."

Yang Meiyi nodded and hugged him tightly saying "Thank you Mingze. I have made a doctor’s appointment for tomorrow morning."

Fu Mingze tense slightly and said, "So soon."

"Mingze, I’m sure the baby is healthy so don’t get worried for nothing."

"I know. Congrats on the opening of the resort, it’s amazing." Fu Mingze said changing the subject.

Yang Meiyi smiled and said, "I had an amazing supporter."

Fu Mingze laughed and pulled her closer to him as he asked "Does being an amazing supporter comes with a reward?"

Yang Meiyi bit her lips gently and tiptoed to whisper in his ears "The reward I have for you can only be given in the bedroom."

Fu Mingze’s eyes darkened at her words and said "I will hold you to that tonight."

Yang Meiyi laughed softly and said, "I have something to say to Nie Yujie, in the meantime enjoy yourself."

Fu Mingze nodded and watched her walk to Nie Yujie, his eyes met Zhang Chun, and decided to have a little talk with him.
