Meiyi took twenty minutes before coming down, dressed in a yellow flowery gown with her long dark hair let down, she did her makeup in a way that made her look older than seventeen. Her eyes lit up when she saw Fu Mingze leaning on his car and reading something on his phone. When he raise his head to notice her, she immediately ran to him and hugged him saying "I also want to spend the rest of my life with you, I have always wanted that since I was twelve."

"Twelve? But you confessed to me before everyone at the age ten, were you pretending?" Fu Mingze asked with a smile as he wrapped his hand around her and pulled her closer to him.

With her head on his chest she replied "I wasn’t pretending. Infact even before I was ten years old I have always liked you, but I truly fell in love with you at the age of twelve. At that time you came to visit grandpa and was about to leave but when you found out that I was sick and grandpa told you that there would be no one to take care of me if I go back home because my mom and dad had travelled, you stayed behind and took care of me the entire night."

"That was when you fell in love with me? I only did that to ensure you didn’t die at my house, do you know how troublesome it would have been for my grandfather?"

"Say whatever you want but it doesn’t change the fact that the cold Fu Mingze secretly has a big heart." Yang Meiyi said as she separated herself from him in order to look at him.

Fu Mingze laughed softly and said "Don’t ever say that to anyone, it should stay just between the two of us."

"Is President Fu shy to admit that he has a soft heart?" Yang Meiyi teased.

Fu Mingze smiled and suddenly kissed her cheek and said "You look beautiful."

Yang Meiyi was stunned for a moment before saying "You too." It was as if she couldn’t think clearly.

Fu Mingze smiled at her and decided not to tease her, he just held her hand and led her to the passenger seat and closed the door after she was seated. He entered the car as well and noticed how red her cheek have become, if he didn’t know the real reason he would have thought she was coming up with a fever, he held her hand and said amusedly "Put on your seatbelt."

Yang Meiyi quickly put on her seatbelt and after that they drove away.

"How is it?" Fu Mingze asked with a tinge a nervousness.

Yang Meiyi moaned in delighted as she savor the food in mouth and said "I think you are doing the wrong profession, rather than a business man, you should be running your own restaurant."

Fu Mingze let out a smile and said "I’m glad you like it."

Yang Meiyi moved her spoon to get another but suddenly stopped as a thought came to her, she looked at him and asked "Just out of curiosity, am I the first woman you have cooked for?"

Fu Mingze was silent for a moment before he said "No."

Yang Meiyi let out a disappointed "Oh." And grumpily put another spoon of food in her mouth.

Fu Mingze chuckled when he saw the way her mood changed and said "My mother was the first."

"Your mother?" Yang Meiyi asked with surprised.

Fu Mingze nodded and said "When it was just the both of us together, she would work till late night and after coming back from work, she would still go into the kitchen to make dinner for the both of us. I felt bad for her and I wanted to help her as much as I could, so I learnt how to cook. She was surprised when she came back from work and saw that dinner was ready, I still remembered the smile on her face that day. Although the first food I made was a diaster but practice makes perfect."

"It must have been hard for you, I’m sorry."

"Why are you sorry? it’s was a long time ago and I’m fine now." Fu Mingze replied.

Yang Meiyi held his hand and said "I’m going to take good care of you."

Fu Mingze smiled at her statement and asked "Are you really alright?"

"Are you asking because of those awful comments? I’m really fine, in a few days I’m going to start school and everything is going to be alright."

"Just call me if you need anything."

Yang Meiyi nodded and said "You don’t have to worry about me so much, I’m going to be fine."

Fu Mingze smiled and said "Eat up before it gets cold."

The celebration of the new year came and went and Yang Meiyi finally moved to her dorm. She opened the door and saw a girl with glasses who was just playing games while being unaware of the environment around her, at this moment, Yang Meiyi wondered if she should say hello or not. When she decided to just say hello later, she heard the girl saying "Are you the third roommate?"

The third? Yang Meiyi looked around and truly two beds has already been made, she nodded her head and said "Yes, I’m Yang Meiyi."

After the call ended, Yang Meiyi laid on her bed with a sigh, so here she was again in a school but this time in a dorm, her classes haven’t even started but she already felt like leaving, it was definitely going to be a long four years.
