"Sir, I just received a call from the dorm supervisor of Meiyi dorm and she said that Meiyi has been accused of stealing her roommate’s bracelet. I asked the dorm supervisor to delay the situation for a moment so that we can think of something." Xia Lian said.

If you don’t believe me, then you can check the internet. One has a little flowery design on it while the other bracelet has little birds drawn on it." Yang Meiyi said with confidence.

Meiyi walked to Wu Ling and said "You are always with Hou Fang so I’m sure you must have seen her wear the bracelet a few times, which design does Hou Fang bracelet have?"

Wu Ling squeeze her skirt nervously and said "It’s the one with little flowery design on it."

"So that means Hou Fang bracelet has a flowery design on it?" The dorm supervisor asked with narrowed eyes

Yang Meiyi looked at Hou Fang and asked "Do you agree with your sidekick, is your bracelet the one with a flowery design or not?"

Hou Fang looked at Yang Meiyi angrily and said "It is."

"But this bracelet has little birds drawn on it and not flowers." The dorm supervisor said as she looked at the bracelet.

"But that’s not possible, I’m sure it had a flowery design on it."

"Then did the flowers just disappeared and change to birds?" The dorm supervisor asked Hou Fang fiercely.

"But.....but there is no way she could have even afford such a bracelet, I’m sure it’s mine and when I took it from under her bed, it has flowers drawn on it."

"Enough! It clear you are trying to frame Miss Yang for stealing your bracelet. If you have a problem with her, couldn’t you have just talked it out. Why did you have to frame her for stealing?"

Tears rushed out of Hou Fang eyes as she said "I didn’t. I’m sure she changed the bracelet."

"You should apologize to Yang Meiyi, after all you accused her wrongly." Ma Xin spoke out.

Hou Fang looked at Ma Xin in anger and said "Apologize? Why will I apologise to someone who is below me?"

"I don’t want your apology anyway, we had a deal but I won’t slap you, I’m not one for violence after all." Yang Meiyi said with a sweet smile and looked at the dorm supervisor as she asked "Can I get my bracelet back?"

The dorm supervisor nodded and gave the bracelet to Yang Meiyi and then look at Hou Fang as she said "I will have to inform your parents about this, come with me."

Hou Fang looked at Yang Meiyi in anger and left with the dorm supervisor. Feeling the tension in the air, Wu Ling followed Hou Fang out of the room.

After they have both left, Ma Xin immediately walked closer to Yang Meiyi and said "Is that bracelet really yours, but I have never seen it with you before?"

Yang Meiyi looked at the bracelet with a hidden smile and said "It’s a secret, but I guess it’s mine now. But I need you to do something, I want everyone to know that Hou Fang tried to set me up. I’m sure she didn’t act alone, Wu Ling must have helped her."

"So what do you want me to do?" Ma Xin asked.

"You will have to video the fall out of Hou Fang and Wu Ling for everyone to see, that’s the only way people are going to see her true colors."

"Leave it to me." Ma Xin said with a smile.

"President Fu, I’m very impressed. But how were you able to get that bracelet so fast and you even convince the dorm supervisor to exchange the bracelet." Yang Meiyi asked as she walked round her campus, she was already feeling stuffy in the room so she decided to go for a stroll and called Fu Mingze.

"I promise to pay for her son medical expenses if she agreed to exchange the bracelet. Hou Fang is a spoilt brat, so if she truly wished to frame you, it would definitely be with her most expensive bracelet. What I never expected was that the bracelet I got for you was the second type of Hou Fang bracelet. Sorry, I have to give it to you that way." Fu Mingze said.

Yang Meiyi smiled and said "Thank you for looking at for me. To be honest, I really didn’t know what to do, I just didn’t want you to be worried that was why I told you I would be fine until you sent that message."

"You did well. What happened today shows your ability to stand in a pressuring situation, so don’t be down and instead be proud of yourself. You are still young, as time goes on you will learn how to deal better with people like Hou Fang "

Yang Meiyi chuckled and said "As long as you are by my side, I’m sure I can deal with any situation."

Fu Mingze laughed softly and said "Then it’s a promise, you are never allowed to leave me."

As Gu Zhen stepped into the bar, he immediately frowned when he saw a guy talking to the young woman who was all too familiar with him, he walked towards them and said to the guy "Get lost."

The young man looked at Gu Zhen cold and glaring eyes and left with a shrug.

Gu Zhen looked at the young woman who has been drinking without any bother and asked "Are you drunk?" 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Yang Jia shook her head and said "Not yet but don’t worry I will soon be getting there."

He looked at her silently and finally sat beside her as he asked "So tell me, who is responsible for your misery? Is it your dad or Sang Xiu or perhaps Yang Meiyi."

"I just found out that my mother was the one who suggested divorce to my dad inorder for them to get their hands on Sang Xiu inheritance "

Gu Zhen who was about to sip the drink he order immediately burst into laughter and asked "What?"

Yang Jia glared at him and asked "You think this is funny?"

"To you it isn’t but to me it’s hilarious. The fact that your parents both wanted to play Sang Xiu but ended up getting play is more than funny."

Yang Jia order another drink and was about to drink it when Gu Zhen held her wrist and said "That’s enough."

"Let go. I though you were having fun."

"And I thought you wanted answers, now you know the truth. Sang Xiu didn’t seduce your dad or destroy their marriage or is even responsible for your mom death, everything that has happened has been because of your parents greed and desire to increase their status. Forget about your hate and make peace with that woman, if you want my opinion, Sang Xiu is better as a friend than as an enemy."

"Well I don’t want your opinion. If you admire her so much then you can as well go be with her."

Gu Zhen chuckled and said "I don’t fancy women who are old enough to be my mother but I would say that Sang Xiu aged very well, no wonder your father couldn’t resist her."

"Well, she has a daughter, I’m sure she is young enough for you to fancy. I saw the rare interest in your eyes when you spoke to her at the Fu anniversary."

"Is that jealousy I hear in your voice. Yang Meiyi is different from Sang Xiu, she isn’t smart like her mother or even cunning, she is just a foolish child who only thinks of being happy with Fu Mingze. But I will give her credit for being able to make a man like Fu Mingze fall for her, but she isn’t like you and will never be like you."
