Chapter 46: First And Last Love.

By 7am, Yang Meiyi was already awake. Though she didn’t sleep early but as soon as her alarm clock rang, she immediately knew what today meant for her. Without bothering to stay even a few minutes more in bed, Yang Meiyi went to the bathroom, took her bath and change into a beautiful blue dress that stopped in her kneel, the color of the dress matched the pendant that Fu Mingze gave to her which also reminded her of his eyes.

With her hair let down and a little bit of makeup, even Yang Meiyi couldn’t stop herself from admitting how pretty she looked, she smiled at her reflection and left the Sang mansion hoping her mother wouldn’t see her and become suspicious.

....

Yang Meiyi arrived at Spring park by 8:58am, she was surprised when she saw that the park was empty and wondered if the park was closed down, but what bothered her the most was that there was no sign of Fu Mingze. She check the time on her watch and saw that it was already 9am, that was strange because Fu Mingze was never late. As she planned to give him a call, she heard the noise of a helicopter above her and the moment she looked up, dozens of flower petals fell on her.

Meiyi looked at the flowers petals speechlessly and smiled when she realized that it was her favorite flower, yellow rose, as she picked a petal that landed on her shoulder and heard a deep familiar voice behind her that said "I hope that smile means I’m starting well."

Yang Meiyi immediately turned and saw Fu Mingze walking towards her, who wouldn’t know would have thought they planned their outfit because he was wearing a dark blue shirt and black trousers and damn the first three buttons were undone, why does he always leave it undone? It’s no fair that a man could look this sexy without making any effort, but he was her man and that made her smile to brighten as he finally stood in front of her.

"You look beautiful." Fu Mingze said as he drank her in. She was the most beautiful woman he has ever set his eyes on and she was his.

Yang Meiyi smiled and said "You too."

Fu Mingze smiled with a raised brow asked "Do I look beautiful?"

"You are the most handsome and beautiful male creature that has ever grazed this earth Fu Mingze, I’m sure your mirror tells you that everyday."

Fu Mingze laughed and Yang Meiyi smiled when she heard his laughter, she may not know what else she has forgotten about the book, but she still remembered how many times Fu Mingze laughed in the novel and it was definitely not up to five.

Fu Mingze saw Yang Meiyi watching him with a smile and asked "Did you like the flowers?"

Yang Meiyi nodded "Yellow roses, my favorite."

"I want to give you more than a rose Meiyi, but all that I can give you is my heart and even that isn’t in perfect condition." Fu Mingze said with a sad smile.

"Mingze....."

"I’m not good with words, I believe in actions instead and I want to use everyday of our lives to prove how much you mean to me, how I am ready to put the entire world at your feet if you so wish. I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy and seeing that smile that makes it hard to believe that you really are mine. I have always thought I was never going to fall in love but then you came into my life, putting your name on my heart before I even realized it and to be honest, I felt I was going crazy. There were a lot of women out there but what the heck was I doing falling in love with a seventeen years old? But I couldn’t help the way that seventeen years old made me felt, I couldn’t help the satisfaction I felt whenever that seventeen years old girl would smile at me, whenever she told me she loved me I felt my heat racing and to be honest I even met a psychiatrist."

Yang Meiyi widened her eyes as she asked "You did?"

Fu Mingze smiled softly and nodded "But then I stopped after only two days because I became scared that the shrink could really make what I feel for you go away and I didn’t want that. I didn’t want the happiness I feel whenever you were around to go away and I didn’t want to stop being around you. I knew you were only a minor so I wanted to wait, perhaps once you become an adult, once you start college, you will realize that I was too old for you, not healthy enough for you and then you have to go ahead and tell me you were still keeping your first kiss for me, did you have any idea what that did to me? And when I tasted those lips on your eighteenth birthday, I knew I was done for, there was no way out for me anymore. I love you Meiyi and I know it may sound cliche but you Yang Meiyi will forever be my first and last love and I want the both of us to spend the rest of our lives together, loving each other, arguing and making up."

Yang Meiyi heart was filled with nothing but warmth when she heard his words, she gasped in surprised when he bought out a velvet box from his pocket, she watched as the great Fu Mingze of country M knelt on one kneel as he asked "Will you marry Yang Meiyi? Will you be mine forever?"

Yang Meiyi eyes felt teary as she looked at him, she has heard of happy tears before but have never believed it, how could one actually cry when they are happy? But this overwhelming feeling that has bought this tears to her eyes could not be explained, forget about the book, this right here was her Fu Mingze and she will spend the rest of her life loving this man.

"Yes Fu Mingze. I want to be yours, only yours." Yang Meiyi said as a tear slipped from her eyes, why was she crying?

Fu Mingze smiled and placed the bright emerald ring on her ring finger. He rise to his feet and held her cheek as he kissed her, he kissed her as if she was his everything, the kiss was gentle yet passionate and after a few seconds, Fu Mingze broke the kiss, pressed his forehead on hers and whispered "Now let’s go get married."

.....

An hour later, both Fu Mingze and Yang Meiyi came out of the Civil Affair Bureau with their marriage certificate and with a huge smile on their face. Fu Mingze looked at Yang Meiyi smile and asked "Are you that happy to be Mrs. Fu?"

Yang Meiyi nodded and moved closer to him as she bought her lips to his ears and whispered "I will even be more happier when we consummate our marriage."

Fu Mingze eyes darken as he held her waist and asked "Are you sure you don’t want anyone to know about our marriage? I don’t mind telling the world that you are my wife."

Yang Meiyi shook her head and said "I’m still too young to get killed by my mom and besides i like that we have a secret."

Fu Mingze smiled and kissed her "I will always do my best to make you happy."

"And I will never break your heart, I promise."

Yang Meiyi had to call her mother and told her that Ma Xin was in town and she wanted to have a sleep over with her, Sang Xiu of course agreed, not suspecting anything about her daughter lie.

That night, Fu Mingze and Yang Meiyi consummated their marriage. Giving themselves to their passionate desire throughout the night.
