The Church of the Land of Spirits.

This place was more like an administrative unit than a Church. Strictly speaking, this area was a theocracy. The leader of the entire region was the religious leader—in other words, the Great Gardener. The administrative units in other places were the local Churches, and the officials were Priests.

Alka, along with Chadite, entered the Church. A young girl dressed in a light white robe embroidered with floral patterns, who had clearly been waiting for some time, nodded at Alka when he came in.

"Please, follow me."

She led the group into a nearby, enormous flower-shaped building. As soon as they entered, they found themselves surrounded by densely packed bookshelves. Many people wearing floral robes were moving about inside. This was clearly the Island's library, where all sorts of knowledge and information were stored.

"That bookcase might have what you need." With that, the young girl departed.

Alka and his companions went straight to the bookcase she had indicated. Lucilia casually had Alka take out a book, then she flipped through it briefly. The text was in the same language they spoke, only it was an older, more complex version that had not undergone later simplifications. This made reading slightly more challenging, but not impossible.

"Ancient Chronicles... it seems this place was indeed once called the Land of Flowers," Lucilia said, looking at the book in her hand.

"So, is their divination really that accurate?" Alka couldn't help but ask. Although divination hadn't revealed *why* these people wanted certain items, their ability to accurately pinpoint *what* they wanted was already quite impressive. For most people, simply knowing the target items would have been enough.

That's what Alka believed.

"They have a god, don't they?" Chadite said, winking at Alka.

He was right... very true.

After all, a god was hidden right beneath them. A fallen, resurrected god was still a god.

After a few more casual remarks, the three began to read, searching the area for the historical materials they needed. This section hadn't been specially prepared for them; it was simply the area clearly marked "Ancient History." Some of the books were even preserved using Spells to prevent deterioration from age. From the materials and preservation methods—some of which seemed almost ritualistic—it was clear that some of these books were incredibly old. Yet, only the three of them were in this section. Almost no one else came here to search for books.

Soon, the area fell quiet, the only sound being the rustling of turning pages.

"Symbols of Summer: Heat, Flame, Sunshine, Growth." Chadite, having brought a book over to Alka, softly read aloud what he found.

Alka took the book and examined the symbols, considering the context of the entire volume. This particular book analyzed ancient texts and the meanings behind various unusual narrative techniques. Judging by the cover and writing style, it appeared to be nearly a hundred years old. It contained numerous annotations and interpretations by various scholars. The symbols discussed here were the author's interpretations of ancient symbols from the Age of Deities, tens of thousands of years ago.

"If this is accurate, could the symbols of summer that Vastva requires also match these?" Alka turned his head to ask.

Chadite shook his head helplessly in response to Alka's question. No one could guarantee that.

"You just need to find the symbols of Winter to confirm it, right?" Lucilia interjected, looking up briefly before returning to her own work.

True.

At least they now had one Treasure that was an almost confirmed symbol of Winter.

It was also a similarly abstract concept.

Symbolizing the decay of winter.

Keeping this in mind, Alka and the others continued their search. They eventually found symbols representing the other seasons in various books:

Symbols of Spring: Revival, New Life, Wind, Hope.

Symbols of Autumn: Harvest, Earth, Aging, Decline, Legacy.

Symbols of Winter: Decay, Ice and Snow, Resilience, Cold.

Sure enough, "Decay" was listed under the symbols of Winter. This meant they could look for other relevant Treasures based on these characteristics. Making a note of this, they began searching for any other information related to the terms "Land of Flowers" and "Hochal Meira." After all, these were the only terms they knew that were connected to the Treasures.

The term "Land of Flowers" was relatively easy to find. It appeared in most books documenting the most ancient information.

"So that's it," Lucilia murmured, nodding. She called the other two over to look at the book in front of her. "Look at this."

The two carefully followed Lucilia's gesture, looking at the book she indicated.

The Land of Flowers.

This was the former name of the Island beneath their feet, which had once been part of a continent. The Land of Flowers was the name of that entire continent. It was so named because it was ruled by the Flower Fairy. In ancient times, it was also known as the earthly Divine Kingdom of the Flower Fairy. The fragrant Land of Flowers was shattered by wars among the gods, and the Flower Fairy fell into a Deep Sleep as a result of these conflicts.

This passage essentially explained the entire concept of the Land of Flowers.

"The term 'Land of Flowers' appears frequently, but I haven't seen 'Hochal Meira' even once," Lucilia said, shaking her head with some regret. According to Alka, this latter term was far more important. It might be the key to finding the Treasures.
