The two of them were the only ones that had received that kind of unique test while the rest of the students on the island were still doing their own tests that were predetermined for them.

The teachers were worried about them as the bastards that were after the island were hindered by some of their students and after staying still for a long time, they were moving once again.

The island wasn’t safe anymore since they knew now that they were discovered, the teachers would know about them as well, and if the teachers knew about them, it wouldn’t be long before they arrived here by any means and stopped them.

They knew they did not have that long and they knew it so, they moved faster this time and did what any devoted person in their position would do... ask for guidance from the owners of their souls.

And obviously as the demonic nature went, they just wanted to fuck around and play while they still can and get the job done.

They were mad men. Puppets dancing in the palms of the leader of the demon alliance of the demons that they were contracted with belonged to.

Now... it was a fact that the death of a demon that contracted with any being would be guaranteed of they were bound by a perfect contract, however, they weren’t foolish enough to risk their lives in this small world, not over this certain forsaken task.

They were just playing around on their side, however, their playtime was not something that the headmaster was going to tolerate.

They knew that as well, and that was the main reason they did not want to break any rules.

Playing by the books was one thing that even the headmaster couldn’t overrule.

So, the demonic humans were on the move for the children on this island right now. And, the teachers had figured that out already.

Even the strongest of them, the twins that could have dealt with most of these bastards on their own were doing their own tests in a special space, it was highly unlikely that they would come out anytime soon.

Thus, they knew that the other students had to stall for time and to do that, the teachers would have to guide the students individually.

The announcement was made to the entire island and every student present here, including the ones that were in the middle of giving their tests heard this announcement clearly.

And, since even the system had informed them, they knew this wasn’t any kind of joke.

The tests weren’t going to stop, or go anywhere so they could always continue them after saving their own asses from those mad demonic bastards that were coming for them.

They had to act quickly, and young adults with no real war experience knew it was best to just follow the ones that knew what was happening around them.

Most of them weren’t strong enough to face these people, and those who thought they had any chance against them, were heavily criticised by their teachers through the system and they even threatened them with their academic future on the line.

-Bang— boooooooooom!

There were a few of them who didn’t listen to the messages or paid any attention to these announcements, people including Nes, Ras, Rex, Lux, and few others who could actually deal with these bastards.

They were risking their lives to eliminate the treat all the other students were facing and since the teachers hand no way of contacting the headmaster, they could only do what the demonic humans did to get to that special place.

However, even that was going to take a long time... something that they did not have.

The two of their top students, the most special ones that the teachers were hoping could resolve this issue somehow, were doing the tests specifically prepared by the headmaster so they couldn’t reach them either.

And, the situation was getting worse by every minute that passed in that place,

Thankfully, some of their students that they only knew as special were showing the powers and skills that they had never shown before in their lifetime in this academy.

Some were using special weapon techniques that were far more advanced than what a student of their level should know, some were using special magic that was close to the eleven of magic that Auriel used, and some of them were using special powers that the academy teachers and authorities didn’t even know they possessed.

One girl was using Space and Null element to deal with a bunch of demonic humans on her own with a kind of prowess that was difficult to see in someone that had just awakened those powers.

One boy was using a sword at the level of a Swordmaster, integrating his weapon with a peculiar energy that was neither Mana or Aura, something a few instructors recognised as an eastern cultivated power.

One of them was using some strange kind of energy manipulation and was working alongside a light element user that was practically the natural enemy of these creatures.

One, on the other hand, was also using a power close to the light element but what she was using was used with a unique kind of skill that only the vice headmaster recognised.

-Bang— Booooooooom!

There was someone among them that was using powerful marksmanship to snipe and defeat the demonic human; however, since they were hidden so well, even the surveillance devices weren’t picking their presence up.

-Ooooooooooooooooomg!

Some were working together to recognize the threat and deal with it in their own manner, while some had established a network through their unique skills and were communicating with one another.

The students were working together to fend off these powerful foes, however, even they knew they would not be able to defeat every single one of them on their own.

There were a few among them that were so strong that they could kill all of them if they just wished for it, however, under the circumstances, acting rashly was only going to turn into a disaster, so they were holding back their desires to completely devour these miserable children.

Which wasn’t a very demon-like approach to the given situation. But, they were doing what they should as the ones baring the wishes of their masters.

Not all demons wanted a simple pleasure of seeing dying children, not all demons enjoyed watching the children being tortured and killed.

There were many things that pleasured a demon. And one of them was the death of their own kind.

They were watching all this from the various depths of hell.

They were laughing at the foolish humans that were following everything that they were telling them.

This was not the first time they were doing this but since this entire matter was concerned with the bastard children that created an epic even without bearing proper authority, screwing over everything that they cared about or at least the things that were important for them was something that they enjoyed very much.

They were fighting back right now but since those children weren’t here and were hiding in some hole in some corner of this place they were going to enjoy this show as much as they can before the two of them show up and they can start the real game...

However, they had to accept the fact that not all of the little children on this island were weak or useless.

Some of them were in fact more useful than they seemed to be.

Someone that possessed Space and Null attributes at the same time, someone that possessed the power of nature, someone that possessed the power of energy, a holy saintess that did not know about her powers yet, and even an anomaly that was hiding from the world...

There were many instructing individuals present on this island and the demons watching them desired them more than they wanted to kill them or use them as mere sacrifice.

They knew these children could make a fine vessel for their souls, puppets that they would use to roam this world, apostles same as the ones that were scattered all across the island at the moment.

There was a good number of things that they were after now that they had seen the worth of this task, and they weren’t worried about the headmaster anymore either.

They could have killed the intruders the moment they even tried tempering with the barrier, however, if he had not killed any of them and was allowing all this to happen, then there was only one meaning behind this.

The headmaster wanted them to do this.

He was a crazy bastard as everyone in the Worldline knew about but, they were a kind of variable that he can actually allow since he knew there was a possibility that they could deal with them on their own.

He was confident about this, that was the only reason he wasn’t stepping in.
