Twin Reincarnation: Epics Of The Worldline-Chapter 344 Blue test (2)
[OP: ]
The creatures that had appeared before them were of a high grade, were strong, possessed special qualities of unique creature that wasn’t possessed by just any kind of creature.
They were strong, however, one thing that was good about this situation, was the fact that the creature that they were going to face now did not belong to this world, which meant according to Laws of the Worldline, these creatures would have to be under some kind of penalty.
A portion of their powers would be sealed away so thanks to that, it would be easier to fight against them. At least theoretically... it was going to be a little easier to fight against these <S> rank creatures on their own.
Practically though...
-Booooooooooom.
"Kreeeeeeeeeee—trrrrrrr!"
The mantis that Rein was facing used the two Scythe-like arms that were sharp enough to slice the thick trees of this forest like they were nothing more than paper.
They were strong weapons that she knew very well the strengths of.
She had fought these creatures for real a long time ago, so she knew just how dangerous they could be in their complete form.
-Boooooooooooooom!
They were considered catastrophic entities in many parts of the Worldline, and though they were an insect type creature, the real version of these creatures was not something that the current them should have been capable of handling.
For a matter of fact, the things they were fighting were only a child compared to the final evolution of these creatures... however, they liked them better in their current forms.
[{ "This is difficult." }]
[{ "This one is more difficult, ma’am." }]
She was fighting this creature using her twin swords as well as her magic. And she also had to use her skills to deal with the strong attacks of this creature.
Similarly, Eon was having a difficult time fighting the humanoid creature that seemed to be made of a hard exoskeleton with three distinct red horns on its head, and a completely black body that seemed darker than the pitch black nights.
The creature that she was fighting was only a physical-combat type monster while the creature that he was facing possessed the power of elemental spirits as well, a power that was stronger than the direct elements that one could use.
They were strong, they were tough things to deal with, but, after facing the complete versions of their own selves, they knew they were stronger than they had ever let out.
And so... they knew how to deal with these creatures.
-Swiiiiiiiish!
El used all her power to deal strong physical damage to this creature on its weakest points and precisely targeted the weak points again and again.
In the process, she covered her swords and weapons in the special enhancement spells that she had created with her most complex spell crafting method and made it as powerful as she could.
She even added special elements that were the perfect kind of counter against the creature that she was facing and with her knowledge about these creatures, she provoked it into a battle of tactics.
-Boooooooooooooom!
It was only a creature even though it was powerful enough to destroy a good part of the world on its own. It did not possess more intelligence than what its senses had given it.
-Swish! Swish! Swish!
She was angry already and wanted an opponent to vent her anger on, and this strong opponent before her was the perfect kind of target that she would have wished for.
-Oooooooooooooooong!
She did not make any mistakes while fighting this one. She had learned from her mistakes a while ago so she used all the new powers she had to deal with this creature with the only thought of killing it in her mind.
-Zaaaaaaaaaaa...
She was careful this time. Not overly concerned about this creature, but she was serious when she was facing it.
Her head was empty and the only thoughts on her mind was how she had been defeated by the doppelgänger, as well as how she had to defeat this creature before her right now.
-Booooooooooom!
She was strong enough to defeat it, she was strong enough to kill it. She knew all the behaviours and attack patterns that this creature could use, the weaknesses it had, and the secrets that not many in this Worldline should be aware of, and this time, she used all that knowledge without any hesitation.
She first used the power of the magic to restrict the senses of this creature, created an artificial environment that even this creature couldn’t differentiate from the reality, and lastly, she poisoned the creature with a special formula that she created with a magic she had developed.
She used different techniques to first cut off the sense of reality of this creature which was the most important factor of this fight since the main power of this creature was, much like the witches, the interference with the reality itself.
It was able to cut down space, time, and reality with the sharp scythe like front limbs it possessed. Which obviously meant she had to be careful when dealing with this being.
There were a number of things that she could have done to play with it and make it suffer, but she knew this was only the first opponent that she would be facing...
He was facing one as well and after broadening her Mana search technique, she knew there were more creatures around her that she would have to deal with.
She knew they weren’t going to let her pass on so, she had to conserve as much strength as she could for the thing that was waiting for them in the centre of this place.
They were going to fight that thing and they knew that fact well, that was the only reason they mutually decided to put a hold on this race to the centre where the pillar of light piercing the sky was originating from.
-Booooooooooom!
She was almost done with the first creature and he was almost the same as well.
-Booooooooooom!
It was difficult but he had managed to almost bring down the creature. Only one of the horns now remained on its head so it was also going to get cut off soon and then the creature wouldn’t have anything that would support the creature’s balance.
It was big and it possessed the ability to utilise spirits in battle.
The hard, muscular body made it difficult for him to land any physical damage and thus, he was using his Aura and Mana in the way that he had learned from the last fight he had with the shadow creature.
-Boooooooooom!
He used his flame element Mana that could become hotter than the hottest flames that Rein could produce, which was surprising for him, but he knew now that he could do it.
He had complete control of his abnormal affinity and he could use fire as well as he wanted... which might have been the result of his bond with Anna.
It didn’t really matter how and when he got that ability but he was able to control the fire, which was essentially pure Mana. And when mixed with the Flame like Aura that he had, and the blasting butterflies that his Aura produced, it was pretty easy to deal with the creature that was called (Nightmare of Darkness).
It was a strong beast that was even called demon or devil in some regions of the higher parts of the Worldline.
It was a strong beast and there weren’t many things that one can use to deal with this creature as just like El, this one could also deal with all elementals.
They were creatures of nature and usually, they weren’t angry creatures of destruction but instead, they were peaceful creatures that loved living in complete solitude with their families.
They rarely ever fight and even if they did, it was only against another female of their kind where The winner would decide whether the two would stay together while the loser might even have to become food for the winner.
It was the only natural scenario where they were as aggressive as the one he was facing right now was, so it was easy to tell how it was made to be angry like this.
They were there only to fight the two of them and if that was the case, he knew for certain that dealing with all the other enemies was better than dealing with them later on when they were fighting the last thing near the lake.
-Boooooooooooom!
-Swish.
{Crimson sword}
-Swiiiiiish!
-Tap. Tap. Tap.
-Swash, swash.
-Swiiiiiiiish...!
He chopped the last remaining horn of the creature as well and when the angry creature lost all the balance it had and fell to the ground, he prepared his movement skill, moved forward, got as close to the creature as possible, covered his sword in a dense layer of his Mana and Aura, and... looking right into the eyes of the creature, he swung his sword another time.
-Swish.
{Silent cut}.
-Tak!
He passed right through the creature after that certain light flashed in the surrounding area. And, the next moment they knew, the creature that was standing three meter high and looked stronger than anything that they had faced until now, was turning into particles of light and was fading away...
[{ "Am done." }]
[{ "Hehe, I was done a minute ago~." }]
He knew that already, but he still told her since he knew she was worried about him.
They knew one another enough to know the other must have figured out the existence of the other creatures here and they were going to have to work hard to deal with all of them.
It was an inevitable situation... so they had no choice but to kill all that were blocking their paths right now.
In big bulks if not individually... they had to kill them however they can, as fast as they can.
