[El’s POV: ]

The battlefield was a big place. Big enough for a good enough war to take place.

’We had alredy fought on this land in the game so we know this place well.’ Much bette than the emperor actually.

It wasn’t necessary that every war would take place in this place in the game since it was a random system but we have fought on this land and won against the emperor with as little as the third or the forces that the emperor had right now.

There weren’t many elites in our ranks either but, those wars went on for at least a few months with every day being spent on grinding mob-like soldiers and churning through the eternal forces of the empire.

Those times were difficult but this time, things were going to be different.

"They are finally here."

The empire had hundreds of thousands of solders, archers, elites, horse riders, beast riders, beasts, monsters, tamers, mages, summoners, elementalists, aura users, knights, shilders, tech weapon operators, mecha gliders, dragonoid riders, slayers, champions, alchemists with their chimaeras, homunculus, and golems, and even magic engineers with things that might look like stuff from a higher level world.

’They had forces incomparable to any other nation in this world. They were strong, I wouldn’t disagree, and seeing how that bastard has gathered everything he has, he really wants to put everything on the line for the sake of one victory.’

He himself was going to command and operate the battle, and his mere presence will make things difficult for our side.

’One of the reasons I wanted to deal with him and his titles, blessings, and skills before anything was the kind of authority he possessed in this world.’

He had been around longer than anyone else present on this battlefield so he understood this world, the nature of this world, and the true reality that lay beyond the borders of this world.

’He wasn’t just some third rate villain.’

Both of us were worried how we were going to deal with him when the time to face him actually arrived... at least, I was worried about it since I won’t have to fight him myself.

’This bastard of mine was going to fight that bastard, and their battle was going to be broadcasted throughout the Worldline.’

We were expecting the most traffic we have ever experienced and there will most certainly be a need to maintain all the people coming there.

’I’ll have to manage everything there personally or else everything else will crash and we will have a different kind of epic than what we needed at the moment.’

We traffic control was a skill that required good eyes and not just anyone was capable enough to handle the traffic of one of the most famous streamer of the entire Worldline.

’There weren’t many who offered the highest kind of quality anyway. So we pretty much had a good share in the entire streaming industry.’

We had already teased this fight on a great scale.

There were many advertisements and the entire stream from the start of the war to their confrontation was going to be one hell of a things to handle.

’He was still he the main streamer, but he won’t be doing the stream in the first person perspective like he usually does.’

There was no one else like him who can handle and attract this kind of public with simple things, so it wasn’t just a coincidence that he was one of the world famous stars of the we come from.

’Be was a bad bastard that wanted to against that emperor even though he now possesses a kind of power that he wouldn’t be able to deal with his known powers.’

He will have to show them the things that he had not used until now.

He will have to use all his sword techniques, even the ones that he had never used in this life.

’Going one on one against the emperor with a heaven and hell kind of stat difference isn’t going to be easy, but if anyone in this world could do that, then it would be him.’

There was still one problem we had to take care of, but that problem wasn’t as bad as the emperor himself.

"Damn, that fortress sure looks big from up close, hun?"

In this big battlefield, there was a great enemy force on the one side whole on the other side, facing them was a force that was currently not even half of their size.

It might not even be a third of of their size in comparison and it sure at least wasn’t even close to what they had.

There was no extra advanced technology on this side, there were no high quality golem and masters, there was also no one comparable to the Six most powerful on the other side.

These people on my side were just a portion of Rex’s forces but they were still not even close to what the empire had.

It was a great difference... however, that difference was going to close down soon now that the sky fortress that used to be in the middle of the four ocean regions until just a few months ago had arrived on this battlefield.

[{ "What the hell took you so long?!" }]

I left the task to bring the fortress to my little bastard Cary since he was the most capable one to handle something of this scale.

[{ We had to fight a pack of wyverns ughhh! Master! We had to defeat them and place their weakened bodies in the other space for recovery!

It was all thanks to that bunch that we are this late! I won’t apologise for something I have no control over! }]

[{ "Fuck your excuses, bastard! If they were wyverns, you shouldn’t have had any problems dealing with that bunch! How can you call yourself a dragon lord?!" }]

[{ It’s not my fault! I just said we had no choice but to fight them, didn’t I?! They were under control of some other force so we had to free them so that we could use them later!

The hell? There was something that could overwhelm the control of a dragonlord’s authority?

There certainly were some things that came to mind when I thought about it. But most of them were costly things that not even the emperor should have known about in natural circumstances.

The only way he could have figured out anything about those things would have been through the dimensional merchant that he had. And, if it was my adorable little Haze that we were talking, then the thing that they must have used would be...

[{ "Fucking shut up and tell everyone to start with the preparations for deployment. I want everything down here in three minutes." }]

[{ Hump! They have been ready to jump down for an eternity anyway! }]

He was getting angry now... he must be on the verge of tears as well, heheheh.

He’s nothing more than a little baby that knows nothing about anything.

He is useless, he doesn’t do any work as well as a dragonlord like him is supposed to do, and even considering he is under restrictions, if something possessing divinity couldn’t even destroy this world with a flick of their finger, then just what does their divinity even mean?

But, well, he’s my little useless bastard.

There was a core of the fortress that needed high volumes of Mana to fly over long distances like this time, and in normal circumstances, we would have had to burn a shit ton of Mana crystals and concentrated materials to take them here.

Thankfully, we had a dragon~.

Thanks to his Mana, the fortress was now finally here and it was time for the forces of the Fool’s gambit to make their first appearance.

’It was no small thing, since the entrance of the allied forces was more important than the entrance of the enemy forces.’

So, he had to record this with a good point.

"And while he does that..."

There was something I had to do as well.

And for that, I had to quickly summon the commander of allied forces, the crown prince Rex on the battlefield.

It was pretty easy since we had prepared for it beforehand, but I’m pretty sure he is dealing with something unwanted right now.

’He was the commander of these forces so there’s no way someone outside of the conflict zone would not want to assassinate before he reaches the place of the battle.’

From the looks of it, he certainly is facing some people right now so, it won’t be good to summon him in this place directly.

’Which means I will have to go there and fetch him... and that boring thing is something only I can do at the moment.’

Everyone else has a role to play in this battle, so... only I was the workless one left on this great battlefield.
