Twin Reincarnation: Epics Of The Worldline-Chapter 377 The allied forces
[OP: ]
On the great battlefield of the empire that once used to belong to the graft dem9ns of the hell lands, there were two great forces that were gathered on two sides of the west and east.
On one side was the supreme emperor of the great lands, the supreme monarch of the ruler of the empire of the western continent.
There was a force led by him on one side, a force so great that there was no other force present in this land that was nothing like anything or wny9ne else 8n this world possessed.
There was a strong force, a strong power led by the strongest of the empire. A being that had earned the power of the divinity.
The divine power that could change the face of the world, the divine power that was beyond the mortals of this world.
The forces led by him on one side while on the other side was the forces led by the beings that had come from another world.
The beings that had once created this world in a game and knew more than anyone about tyhis world and the people of this world.
They were staring on their own but their true strength were their connections and the powers that they had built up until this point of their lives.
They were str9ng people and they knew what they were doing so, when they came to this world, they knew what they wanted... they knew what’s they wanted to do this world that they once created and enjoyed on their own.
They started with gaining enough strength to become resourceful enough to gather the basic forces of their powers.
They then gathered individuals from all over the continent that could earn them a kind of strength that one could not gain through the sheer strength or force— the power of a great wealth.
They invested thier capital and gained strength that wa the most important in their Worldline.
They knew things that the others did not so they used their knowledge and experience into creating something that was unique on its own.
Ultimately, they conquered a dungeon that not even a divine human like the emperor, along with the other absolute beings of this world failed to conquer.
They obtained the legacy left behind by the first conqueror of this world. The first being to have ever posssess the world in its entirety.
His own luck— the power that other beings long for, was a curse for him, but the things that he had earned in their time on this world, were all left behind to the successors that would one day follow behind their feet.
And the two of them grabbed that opportunity and obtained all that the first conqueror of this world had left behind... a treasure that was much more precious than any other riches present on this world, a treasure trove that contained an absurd volume of gold, jewels, and precious treasures.
The two of them were smart people that knew how to employ these great number of resources so they used all that they had gained in the way that was the most profound and at the end, their conquest of the fortress was a success.
A great reason they managed to do it was also the people that they had gathered with all their strength and resources, but they were the ones to have planned all the things, they were the ones who gave them courage, and they were the owners of the epic that was born from the efforts of these thieves, the heros of the story that the entire world was talking about to this day.
They were special people, however, from this point on, they were going to show just how much they had truely gathered in this world...
-Oooooooooooooooooong!
The entire sky fortress, the greatest weapon left on this world, and the land that the first emperor and their descendants and adored.
The two of them now owned this great power... and on the eastern side of the battlefield, that great power now hovered over the entire battlefield, casting a great shadow over half of the battlefield even while being at a hight unimaginable by the solder on the ground.
This was not going to be a battle that one could just fight and hope to live... the fortress filled with weapons of ancient times weren’t something that they would even need in this small scale war.
-Zap! Zap! Zap!
On the eve of the day before the battle, the eastern side was covered in various lights that were glowing and blinking all over the battlefield.
These lights, indicating the summoning or use of teliportation magic, was the first sign that the opposite side was going to despair over.
-Ooooooooooooooong!
These lights were summoning the soldiers of the group that was behind the thefts of this century, the ones that will be behind the gall of the emperor, and the ones that owned all that was present on the floating fortress.
Skeleton solders that once belonged to the ancient dungeon were now under the command of just two individuals that owned this great fortress.
Each one of these creatures were a <A> rank or above being that one cannot even hope to face by themselves.
They were more powerful than a regular knight with the ability to wield Mana and Aura. They were also beings that once used to be part of the ancient civilization, however, thanks to the magic of the grand Magi, they were now near immortal beings that wouldn’t die even after being killed on the battlefield.
They would return to the life on the fortress, the core of their life, after a certain period, so the two of them had no worried using all of them in this small battle.
They were merely going to use them, as well as the greater forces that they possessed... forces including the highest grade golem that were created with the knowledge far beyond what was known to this world.
There were artificial machines called (Iron cavalry) created by the combined efforts of a primordial pheonix, a genious of this world, and a genious that had come from a different world.
These creatures, having an intelligence close to that of a high ego of this world, were enough to against a thousand solders all by themselves at a time.
They possessed unbelievable powers and most of it was used for the purpose of destruction.
They also possessed artificial lifeforms like homunculus and liches made with dead e beings, and these beings were different from the undead that were under them.
They had only one life, and that one life was so precious to them that they weren’t going to waste it over something small.
They were weapons of mass destruction with only a few aims of their existence.
They knew what they were born to do and they were going to do it regardless of their own circumstances.
Their strength was going to be something beyond what one could imagine.
And, that was just the start of what they had in store...
"Holy... mother of gods..."
The ones who witnessed the entry of these beings on the battlefield otherside were awestruck... shocked even. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Some of them were so stunned that the weapons in their hands fell to the ground at once, creating a symphony of horror and despair.
"What... even is that thing..."
The worst nightmare that the opposing forces were currently witnessing was the horror that even their own emperor had failed to destroy in his prime, a personification of death and destruction.
A ghost undead knight that was born from the desires of a dead soul completely devoted to the soul of the master that they served.
This great knight, the being that was only confined to the heart of the ancient fortress, had now for the first time descended on the human grounds, on the battlefield opposite to them on top of that.
"Master..."
"That is the horror even I had failed to defeat, my men."
The emperor knew the two of them who owned all these forces weren’t something that his own child was thinking them to be.
Yes he had heard that they were reincarnations from different worlds or something, but if that was not the case, then he was certain that the two of them were reincarnations from a past era, an era of the ancient times when the fortress flying in the sky above them once belonged to a grand paradise.
He knew about the first conqueror, the being that had now become a liberated soul one with the flow of existence.
He had freed himself from the shackles of this world and was the greatest living being to have ever lived.
There had been no one like them, ever.
Even someone like him that aspired to be something like them had not been able to come even close to the shadow that they had left behind and yet... the being that only followed that conqueror was now working under the order of these two individuals.
"It is a nightmare I could not overcome in the past, my men... however, the story will be different this time."
The emperor looked over the battlefield on the other side with his divine eyes.
He looked at the things that made senses, the forces that did not make any sense at all, the enemy that was multiple times stronger than them, and a clear defeat that might follow them...
He knew just that one great ghost was enough to destroy every single mortal present with him on his side.
He knew the kind of power that he was seeing right now was not somethig that someone else will ever command after them.
That was the reason he knew what he had to do on this battlefield.
"They will not succeed."
He looked directly in the crystal blue eyes of the masked individual standing at the forefront of the opposing forces.
"They will not succeed!"
"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR!"
"LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR!"
He knew the chances of winning were slim, but it wasn’t impossible. He knew for certain that this... if things go as he planned, even with all the disadvantages, was, certainly, very much possible.
