Unexpected Marriage With Mr. Leighton: Rebirth of the Villain-Chapter 67: ANSWER MY QUESTION OLIVIA
Chapter 67: ANSWER MY QUESTION OLIVIA
"Did the cake commit a crime on you?"
Hazel startled and turned around to look at Ranon, who was already standing behind her. She couldn’t understand how this man could easily sneak behind her back. It was either he was too good or she was the one who lacked awareness. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
However, what annoyed Hazel the most was the fact that this man had the audacity to lean over and eat the last piece of her strawberry cake.
"How dare you eat my cake?!"
Hazel asked incredulously while Ranon chewed it and looked at her defiantly as if to challenge her to do something about it.
Of course, Hazel would do something about it!
There was no way she would let him get away without any consequences for eating her last piece of strawberry cake.
Hazel actually tiptoed and grabbed the collar of Ranon’s shirt and then pulled him down until his face was on the same level as hers. She then kissed him to get her strawberry cake back.
And somehow this moment was captured by a photographer who managed to get into the venue. He had been following them all this time, and Ranon gave him some slack to leak the information to the public, and this was probably the most iconic picture that he had ever taken until now.
Obviously, this picture was shared a million times on social media, where people commented on it. Some people said they looked good with each other, but there were many who disagreed with that.
They said Ranon Leighton deserved someone better than Hazel Rose, who basically was no one since she was not a famous figure; and actually, without the Rose family, was only a regular college student.
There was nothing good about her, while Ranon had everything that women dreamed about in their men.
Yet, no matter what people said on the internet, the wedding would happen in less than two weeks.

After Arlo got news about River’s movement, he actually looked for Olivia in her boutique immediately, but he couldn’t find her there.
That was why he went to her house. It was not very difficult for him to find out where she lived. Since it was actually part of his job. More so, Olivia was one of his and River’s childhood friends.
Because of that, it was easy for him to find her, even though she no longer lived in her childhood home anymore or in her family’s property since she left years ago.
"What the hell?!"
Olivia yelled when she found out Arlo was already inside her house. She screamed at him and cursed him for actually barging into her house.
"I hate people like you!" She said. This moment reminded her of why she didn’t like River. This was one of the reasons.
For Olivia, people like them kept butting into someone’s private place without permission, and they could do it with ease.
Because of that, she didn’t like her parents’ lines of business, and there was no way she would be one of them.
"Sit down, Olivia." Arlo looked very calm, which only annoyed Olivia even more. "There is something I want to talk about."
"I don’t want to talk with you, and I don’t want to sit. You need to stand up and get out of my house right now, or else I will call the police." Olivia glared angrily at Arlo; she really wanted to throw a punch at him, but of course, that was only her ridiculous thought.
"You know that’s not how it works, right? The police will not have any effect on us."
Arlo stated the truth because that was how things worked in their world. As long as there were corrupt police, then there was nothing they couldn’t get away with.
Barging into someone else’s house was not even something they would look into, and Olivia was smart enough to know that, and it would be a waste of effort for her to try. In that case, without having another option, she sat down begrudgingly and asked him snarkily.
"What do you want now?"
"I heard someone came to take River’s wedding dress. I want to know who this person is." Olivia scoffed. She really hated it when people put their nose into her business like this.
"Can you stop getting involved in someone else’s business without asking permission? More so, if you already knew someone was going to pick up River’s wedding dress, you should have known who this person is."
Olivia was right; Arlo knew it was Hazel Rose, but that was not his exact question. He wanted to know who Hazel Rose actually was. He wanted to know what the relationship between Hazel Rose and River was for his fiancé to ask for a favor from Hazel.
There must be something going on between them.
Not to mention he had encountered Hazel a few times. Whether that was intentional or it was coincidental, or maybe, River was the one who had sent her to him. The thought of that alone made Arlo thrilled.
In that case, it meant River would come to him sooner or later. And he knew if she came to him, he would be able to meet with her eventually.
"Just answer my question, Olivia. Don’t make things difficult for both of us. I don’t have time to do this with you. I only want to know what the relationship between River and Hazel Rose is. Answer the question, and then I will leave after that."
Arlo massaged his temple. He was already very tired with the whole thing, and right now he clung to this small information about River’s whereabouts. He didn’t know what he would say or what he would do when he met her, but it didn’t matter. As long as he could find her, he would figure out their conversation later.
"Just answer the question, Olivia."
Arlo was a little bit irritated when Olivia actually ignored him. He looked at her tiredly.
