After the ball of light swallowed the demon, it didn’t actually do anything to the demon.

The demon had been prepared for the pain to hit it, but he didn’t feel a single thing even though he was surrounded by the ball of light.

The demon looked at the ball of light around it with a confused look as if he didn’t understand what this ball of light was for.

He could feel a strange feeling coming from this ball of light that was around him, as if it posed some kind of threat to him. It was just that the demon had no idea what the effects of the ball of light were.

After a moment of hesitation, the demon slowly reached out towards the ball of light that was around him.

The moment that his hand made contact with the ball of light, he immediately pulled it back.

That was because the moment that it made contact, there was this stinging pain that came from it. It was the same feeling that he had felt before when that beam of light had hit him.

He knew that it would be impossible for him to break through this layer of light that was around him.

This layer of light even gave off the same feeling as the power that those humans that possessed the power of god had. The demon knew that this light had to be related to those people.

"Just who are you?" The demon looked down at Lin Fan as he said this.

I didn’t answer that question since I knew that there was limited time for me to take down the demon.

That was because the ball of light that was formed was made by using the essence of the lamp. In a sense, it meant that the lamp would no longer have any power since its essence was used up.

This meant that I had sacrificed the lamp just to take down this demon.

But I felt no pain about this since this was necessary.

This was the only way to take the demon down and as a prodigal, I didn’t feel any pain from wasting things like this.

Since the demon was trapped, there was only one thing that I needed to do.

I jumped up into the air and flew out at the demon.

The demon was still in a daze from the ball of light that was around him, but then he quickly recovered and raised his hand to try and control the scarlet rain that was still falling.

However, the demon found that he wasn’t able to do a single thing with the rain.

He found that when he tried to control the rain, it was as if there was something that was getting in the way. It was as if there was something that completely cut off his connection to the rain that was outside of this ball of light.

Naturally the thing that was cutting him off was the ball of light that was around him.

It separated him from the world that was around him.

So he couldn’t influence anything that was outside of this ball of light.

But that didn’t mean that the people outside couldn’t do anything to him.

After reaching the ball of light in the sky, I started swinging the Wild Raging Spear at the demon that was inside. The Wild Raging Spear made its way into the ball of light without any impediment.

So that meant that while the demon couldn’t do anything to attack me, I was able to attack the demon without a problem.

"You!" The demon roared out as he exploded with demonic energy, but none of that demonic energy was able to make it out of the ball of light to hurt me. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

It was always blocked by the ball of light that was around the demon.

It really seemed like the demon was just trapped inside of this ball of light.

The demon knew that there was nothing that he could do.

He could sense that the ball of light was weakening around him as he slammed his demonic energy into it, it was just that this wasn’t happening fast enough.

The spear was strong enough to cut into his flesh and hurt him, making him weaker and weaker. That meant that there was less and less demonic energy for him to slam into the barrier.

At this rate, it was clear that he would run out of energy before he could break this ball of light.

It seemed that he really had no other choice...

"You’ve pushed me to this!" The demon suddenly roared out before there was a burst of demonic energy that came from him. However, this burst of demonic energy only lasted for a bit before it suddenly disappeared.

It seemed that all of the energy that the demon had been releasing suddenly disappeared.

But I knew that there was a place that it was going.

The demon was actually compressing his energy, almost as if he was going to...

I looked at the ball of light with a worried look, but the system suddenly said, "It’s fine, it’ll hold."

I was surprised to hear this from the system, but then I relaxed.

Since the system said that it was fine, it was most likely fine.

The demon gathered his energy for a bit before he suddenly swelled up.

As he swelled, he said, "I’ll take you with me!"

Then...

"Boom!"

The demon suddenly exploded in a fiery explosion, slamming the flames that were dyed red by its demonic energy into the ball of light.

The ball of light shook a bit as if it was about to crack, but then it held firm.

It was able to contain the explosion of the demon.

When I thought about it, I realized that this seemed to be right.

After all, this ball of light was created by sacrificing the essence of the Divine Artifact, it would be strange if it broke under the self explosion of this demon.
