Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 413: Throne
Once the dust settled, all traces of the demon inside of the ball of light were gone.
At the same time, the ball of light seemed to have dimmed a bit as if it had become weaker.
Still, that was fine since it had done its job.
As long as the demon was gone, then that was all that mattered.
I didn’t bother releasing the ball of light since it was something that would dissipate on its own. After all, there was no telling if there was some kind of trick used by that upper realm demon to fake his own death, so I didn’t let my guard down.
Instead, I turned my attention to the throne that was in the center of the altar.
The demonic cultivators and demons were all in shock from the fact that I had destroyed the one that they followed, so none of them were able to stop me.
But I also said, "It’s time for you to clean up."
When the lackeys heard this, there was a bitter look that appeared on their faces.
They had done all that training and the only thing that they could do was clean up the battlefield after their young master had defeated the boss. But they didn’t complain or hesitate as they started sweeping across the battlefield.
The demonic cultivators and demons were completely scattered under the power that the lackeys had obtained. Especially since they had three Transcendence Realm Spirit Beasts helping them the entire time.
As long as the enemy didn’t surpass the limits of this upper realm, it wasn’t a problem for the lackeys to take them down.
So I wasn’t worried at all that they would have a problem dealing with these demonic cultivators and demons.
Instead, I just walked right up to the throne and stood there in front of it.
The system had already told me that this was a High Grade Immortal Artifact, but it was also a fact that this was something that was used by the demons. This was not something that would be good to keep in this lower realm.
So after thinking about it, I decided to destroy it instead of taking it for myself.
I didn’t lack things because of the system, so it wasn’t as if I really cared about this thing.
As for how I would destroy it...
I had to think about it for a bit, but I decided to use the Wild Raging Spear.
Even if I was weak, the Wild Raging Spear was a Divine Artifact that was on a higher level than this High Grade Immortal Artifact. Based on that, it should be able to destroy the Immortal Artifact.
Once I came to this decision, I stepped forward and raised the Wild Raging Spear.
Only before I could swing that Wild Raging Spear down, there was a voice that said, "Who dares to attack this one’s throne?!"
This voice boomed through the air and seemed to be filled with power.
It seemed to have even more power than the demon that I just defeated.
But that didn’t matter since it wasn’t the power of someone who had descended to this world. It was the power of someone who was just using the throne as a medium to scare us.
So it was nothing more than a cat puffing up its fur to look threatening.
This voice didn’t pose any threat to me at all.
"Be quiet." I said in a simple voice before stabbing the Wild Raging Spear into the throne. The back of the throne was immediately pierced by the Wild Raging Spear and there was a hole left in the throne.
It seemed that my speculation was correct.
The Wild Raging Spear was an artifact of a higher grade, so it had no problem penetrating the throne.
"You dare damage my artifact? Do you know who I am?!" The voice didn’t seem to care at all about what I said as it continued to roar out in that same booming voice.
Since that was the case, I didn’t care either as I pulled the Wild Raging Spear out and stabbed the throne once more and left another hole in it.
"Do you know who this throne belongs to? This is the throne of the Fourth Demon King of the Abyss Demon Realm! If you dare touch my throne again, I’ll rip you to pieces when I find you!" The same voice roared out.
The only response that I gave was another stab of the throne and another hole created.
At this point, the voice started to soften a bit as it said, "If you stop now, I’ll forgive you!"
Another hole was created.
"Stop it!"
Another hole was created.
"Please stop, what do you want?"
Another hole was created.
"Just spare my throne, it hasn’t done anything to you!"
Another hole was created.
The last hole was actually bigger than the rest since I was a bit annoyed by his words.
Didn’t do anything wrong?
Didn’t he send it down with that demon in an attempt to invade this lower realm?
So how did it not do anything wrong?
But the demon king actually thought that the one attacking his throne was someone from another upper realm. After all, he didn’t believe that someone from the lower realm would be able to do anything to his throne like this.
So he actually believed these words since those from the upper realm looked down on the lower realm.
In the end, I was done with this demon king.
The only reason that I had kept this going was to see if I could get any new information from the demon king, but it seemed like he was only going to talk about his throne.
In that case, there was no need to hesitate.
I raised the Wild Raging Spear up high and then brought it down on the throne, cutting it right down the middle.
In the end, the throne was split right in half and all of its power dissipated.
As it disappeared, the demon king said, "You actually dared to destroy my throne! Just wait, I’ll rip you to pieces!"
