Morning in the Adkins estate were always so busy as everyone moved in and out, arranging and cleaning the entire mansion and estate.

By now, the entire household was now aware of the departure of Penny and they all felt so sad. Their madam was a little light that turned big and changed their lives forever. Leaving them with the devil himself wasn’t the best thing to do.

Who would take care of Osvaldo like she does?

She’s the only person that could take the madman without even trying. The only person he obeys and respects in life. And to think she has run away with Hughes.

Oh lucky Hughes...

The housekeeper has proven to be disloyal but very loyal and lucky. At this point, everyone supported Hughes and their master.

As early as the hours of 6, the Adkins lawyers had arrived at the mansion, shocked at the news. They had only heard on details about what had happened and couldn’t believe it.

Their master and madam were no longer together.

Their master has tried to kill his heir... Did he not want a successor?

"Where is master Osvaldo?" Timothy asked Barnaby who was with a tray of empty glasses of tea in hand.

"In his room." Barnaby said and the Adkins lawyers matched down. "I wouldn’t go in there if I were you. I don’t think master Osvaldo is in the right state of mind at the moment." Barnaby said calmly.

The Lawyers ignored his words and went ahead to Osvaldo’s room. They needed to know what had happened. Why did a beautiful union blessed with child now turn into something chaotic?

How can the only woman that can take the beast now run away?

Darlington was heartbroken but after speaking with Penny, he had been happy again. Knowing his great grandson was fine was all he needed to hear.

That rascal. He leaves for one month to find his wife and Osvaldo turns the entire place upside down.

"Master Osvaldo." Timothy called when he arrived in the bedroom. They had expected to see a broken man due to Barnaby’s warning, but all they saw was a well composed man seated before a computer system as he searched through it.

He had known how to use the gadgets all along. In fact, both he and his lawyers had put an act in front of his penguin that day because he thought it was fun.

It had been cute seeing her shocked. It had been cute the way she thought him how to use it and how he pretended it was normal. His lips curled up softly.

"Master." Timothy called.

"Why haven’t they been able to find him?" Osvaldo asked without looking their way. He knew what they wanted to ask, but he was not in the mood for it. He had told penny countless times he was a monster.

He isn’t built for love.

He’s a weapon for revenge. All he wants is to destroy the ones that hurt his parents, not form a family with a broken girl.

She chose to leave him, she can deal with that. But his stubborn facade was slowly breaking.

He had no idea why he felt so much pain in his heart. Why did it feel like something was piercing his heart.

Her pitiful face the day she left still hunted him. It was obvious his Penguin who had smiled all day was hurting but she endured.

He missed her...

Her smile —her soft voice —her care —

her love. He had thought about what his life would be like if she wasn’t here with him.

It was suffocating thinking about it.

His penguin was really gone... She had picked that stupid seed over him.

He felt jealous. All he wanted was to kill that thing that had invaded her mind and her thinking. His penguin wasn’t herself.

But then another side of him didn’t feel like doing anything at all. If he kills that thing, his Penguin might hate him even more. That was his biggest fear at the moment.

He may hate himself for hurting her, but then this is who he is right? It’s best she leaves, at least right now he wouldn’t be so worried about protecting her from those people. The same ones that had killed his parents.

"He’s being monitored. It is said he’d attend a the meeting on special committee of public health." Timothy announced. That is when the Adkins army decides to strike. They’d take him down when he least expects.

"Leave him for me, I need to finish him myself."

"Master Osvaldo that man is loaded." Willy chimed.

"The more armed the better." Osvaldo smiled.

"About Madam..."

"Let her go. She’s safer where she is. I’ll find her once I’m done with this." He said calmly. As for that stupid seed of his, he’ll make sure it gets deleted.

He’ll steal his Penguin back one way or another. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"I’ll give instructions on what you need to do for tomorrow’s meeting." Osvaldo said.

In a fat fat away country, two feet walked gently on the wooden floor and then put of the little cozy apartment she lived in.

"Miss Penny, breakfast is ready." Hughes sang, stepping out of the kitchen with a bowl of sweet potato soup and freshly baked ginger bread. She’s been practicing her cooking skills since they arrived and have prepared several meals for Penny, even though she knew Penny was the least interested.

"I’m not hungry Hughes." Penny whispered.

"I know, but you need it for the baby. He needs it more than you do." Came Hughes motherly voice.

Penny pouting her lips finally dropped her butt on the chair and took a sip of the soup.

"Did father call?" She asked and Hughes nodded.

"He said he’d be arriving next week with grandpa Darlington, your uncle and Aunt and most especially, your cousin." Hughes smiled.

"I miss everyone." Penny said and then there was silence.

Once Hughes was done serving her mistress, she hurried into her room and made a call quickly. "Barnaby." She called.
