Chapter 539: Chapter 213: Have you thought of a name for the child?

Night had fallen.

In the misty bathroom.

Xi Mu was leaning against the edge of the bath, his eyes slightly closed, facing the ceiling, until a disturbance from not far away caught his attention. A girl wrapped in a white bathrobe, with a shark’s tail, approached the direction of the bath.

The Shark Girl Kaschte looked around, tested the water of the bath with her toes, then stepped into the bath, and gently sat down.

Her toenails painted purple, she unconsciously tapped them in the water before suddenly stretching them out. Her supple waist tensed, and her cherry lips let out a contented sigh.

Having spent the day accompanying Letixia and then meeting Lord Ahetar, it was frustrating that she didn’t manage to see anything herself. This frustration, building up inside her, dissipated with the bath, soothing her mood.

And just then.

"Tired, aren’t you?" A voice unintentionally drifted into her ears, causing the Shark Girl Kaschte to tense up suddenly. There shouldn’t have been anyone else in the bathroom. As a shark person, she was very sensitive to water, but... there was someone who could perfectly avoid her senses, someone who could become invisible to her if he wished.

The Shark Girl Kaschte subconsciously gripped her bath towel tighter, an action that only served to accentuate her ample bosom, the white valley emitting an abyssal appeal.

She whispered softly:

"Lord Ahetar, why are you still here?"

"No one set a timer for bathing, did they?" Xi Mu chuckled in response. The Shark Girl Kaschte dared not argue, almost burying her face in her chest, her delicate face flushing, possibly due to the temperature of the water.

Xi Mu chuckled softly, "Come sit by me and talk about the Church of Death."

"Yes." Shark Girl Kaschte naturally dared not refuse, slowly inching towards the source of the voice. She couldn’t see where Ahetar was, but she could estimate his position by listening and discerning the ripples on the water’s surface.

Moments later, she slowly sat down, her pert little bottom flattened somewhat at the pressure, making intimate contact with Ahetar’s legs.

The atmosphere suddenly heated up.

Shark Girl Kaschte’s body trembled, her hands clutching even more firmly at the towel over her chest, her breath growing hurried involuntarily. She felt a third leg, hard and searing, pressing between the gap of her thighs.

To flee... no, she squashed the thought, with proper preparation and taking things slow, she wouldn’t mistakenly sit in such a position.

There was intention in her current position.

"How many in the Church of Death still remember me?" Xi Mu seemed unconcerned with Kaschte sitting on his lap, his gaze lifting to the ceiling which scattered a dim yellow light.

Shark Girl Kaschte calmed her breathing, shifted her position slightly, and then uttered in a feeble voice:

"Most of the Church of Death don’t remember your existence, only me and the doll girl retain our memories about you, everyone else has lost their memory of you."

After she discovered Time Retrospection, she realized most of the Church of Death had lost their memories of Ahetar, except for her and the Doll girl who still remembered his existence.

For most members of the Church of Death now, Ahetar was a symbol of terror and despair, but a symbol that made them feel proud because Ahetar had risen from their ranks.

And the Witch of Death had acknowledged Ahetar’s identity.

So, in the Church of Death today, apart from her and the Doll girl, their impression of Lord Ahetar was basically... someone who was a formidable ally before Time Retrospection, with no other details.

"So that’s why you took on the task of protecting Letixia?" Xi Mu chuckled, and upon hearing this, Shark Girl Kaschte nodded gently in agreement. In the Church of Death, the only other person who could be so attentive to Ahetar was the Doll girl, but she spent most of her time conveying the will of the Witch of Death, leaving Kaschte to step in to ensure Letixia’s safety in person.

"You’ve worked hard." Xi Mu’s voice suddenly softened, he raised his hand to rub Kaschte’s head, "However, I can’t offer you a reward today."

"A reward?" Shark Girl Kaschte blinked in surprise, her toes clenching suddenly; she realized something.

"No, it’s not that it’s impossible." Xi Mu took a turn in his talk, leaning in to Shark Girl Kaschte’s ear, "Tell me what you want... as a reward."

What she wanted as a reward.

Shark Girl Kaschte’s mind raced. Could she directly ask for Ahetar himself? But considering the reward was for protecting Letixia, such an overbearing request would probably be denied.

After a moment.

"Take your time, no need to rush." Xi Mu laughed softly, extended his hand to wrap around Kaschte’s waist, fingers gliding over her smooth skin, then gently moved the Shark Girl Kaschte to the other side.

He stood up and left the bathroom.

As for receiving the unexpected visit from Shark Girl Kaschte, he had no reason to refuse, but today was different.

Quietness suddenly settled in the bathroom.

Shark Girl Kaschte slowly recovered from her bout of strength and then let out a small, animal-like cry. What had she done? She had taken the initiative to sit on Lord Ahetar’s lap, and in a place like the bathroom, no less.

Where had she gotten the courage for such an action, pretending to misunderstand her exact position and sitting down? Lord Ahetar most certainly wouldn’t believe such an act, although it seemed that he didn’t refuse her either, and even mentioned a... reward.
