Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 294: The night begins - II
She accepted the offer of the girl and huddled together with them. Her dress was longer than the others. They all were wearing white pieces of clothes that just, as she heard the men say, the goods. Her dress was stronger and it was dark maroon in colour.
It meant something. It differentiated her from the other girls and made her seem like the price.
They were saving her for the last and that was enough for Evelyn to be wrapped up in her own anxiety. The last meant that this was going to go on for long, and that she was the prize which meant people were going to bet on her until the highest one won.
By the looks of it, Evelyn was the oldest in the room and she felt a protective Edge over these women. The two girls that she is sad in between, Evelyn wrapped her hands around their shoulders.
That sort of Arabella came to her mind. It was the best decision she had made about not taking her child to the gala that night, otherwise who knows what would have happened to the baby girl.
"They are going to sell us all, aren’t they?" The girl to her side whispered. "I have heard about people like them. They will force us and then they will kill us when they are done."
Evelyn looked away.
The girl sniffed. "I get it that I was stupid enough to walk alone in the middle of the night, but I really need it air. I didn’t know I was going to be swept off the streets!"
That was her fault, Evelyn shook her head to herself. Middle of the night was an invitation with the crime and kidnapping happening in this world. Men and women, those of them were not safe for this and this girl was basically a child.
"I was sold by my father." A random girl sniffed. "Allah knows what he has done and he will be punished for this."
"Hah," Someone laughed bitterly, "if God had any play in this, do you think we would be here?"
True, Evelyn stayed silent but agreed with her words. If God was with them, why would he ever put them through something like this?
The sound of the lock opening of the door to this room made everyone sit straighter and shift closer to each other.
Evelyn held on to the two girls tightly that had their hands on her lease hold on just as tight as a little hands could.
The moment the door opened and light flooded in, the whimpers and cries of the girls again. Evelyn went into a state of panic. She was powerless here.
Five men entered, strong and buffed up enough to kill any girl. The girls cowered at the sight of them and Evelyn gulped. She was not going to be able to fight even one of them let alone all five.
"Up, all of you!" He yelled, making the girl jump. "get up and form two lines! Now!"
The girls scrambled into action, already scared enough into submission it did not take them much time to listen to what they have to say.
Evelyn went to stand in the line closest to her, but one of the men stepped in and pulled her away before pushing her into the corner of the room.
She stood there mutely, watching closely as the girls made two lines. All of them cut it close it one another, seeking the safety as much as they could before it was all going to go away.
"We are going to take you out, ’’ said the same man who had ordered them to make two lines. "Don’t try to run, you run we shoot you. Understand?"
He got shivering nods and whispers of agreement before it entered his head towards the door. Two men went out first and then the first line of girls before the second one followed.
The rest of the three men exited after the last line of girls and closed to the door behind them leaving Evelyn alone in the room.
Had... They forgot her? That would not be possible, could it?
With her back against the wall, Evelyn slid down the wall at the realization that they were keeping her for the last.
And she had no idea how long this was going to be. By the looks of it, no one was going to tell her that either.
The girls were going to be so good and so was Evelyn. She had never felt this helpless before.

Salvatore winked at Arabella and she giggled before bringing her pouty lips to kiss the camera and leave soberly mess behind.
"Byi!" She shook her hand from side to side and Salvatore repeated it before hanging up on the call. Minutes later he received a call from his father.
"Yes?"
" The tracker in Evelyn is working again. She is not underground anymore."
Salvatore stilled. He had not looked at the app and checked it for at least a while now. He had lost hope with the tracker but unfortunately, it was not a good one. It did not work underground and it had been delayed in finding where his wife was.
"Got it." He acknowledged and his father hung up.
Open the application, the red dot told him where exactly Evelyn was, right down to the very meter.
He moved out of the bedroom given to him in the house and down stairs into the war room has Vincent called it.
"What is it?" Samuel asked as the first thing when he saw Salvatore enter The room still half dressed.
"The tracker is working. Here." He handed the phone to the guy with the laptop, it took him seconds to coordinate with the location and come up with the building that they were end.
"This means that they do not have mobile jammers there." Adrian noted. "Not when they have clients to entertain."
Salvatore stared at the screen. He found her and he hoped that he was not late.
