Draconic King of Shadows-Chapter 100: King of Inferno

Lyra took a step back, not just from shock, but from the terrible, scorching heat coming off Kenzo.

The red, Demonic flames weren’t normal by any means. They possessed a Demonic power to burn not just the physical body, but the souls of the target too.

This flame was called... Hellfire.

Lyra looked down at herself, then looked back up.

They were so far ahead of her when it came to combat. Their Auras alone were suffocating, and their attack powers were deadly.

A golden streak of light landed with a bang before the trio, before standing up dramatically and staring back at them.

Drax’s eyes narrowed.

Who were these beings?

One of them burned like a living torch, having a special kind of red and silver flames around it while holding a sword in a hand.

Its body was covered in a black armor, with a red glow passing through the seams, and a mask glued to its face.

Another looked like a Draconic creature of sorts, with a swaying tail having a scorpion-like tip, claws on its fingers and toes, and black scales and horns.

Its face was Human-like, and it had short, black hair. Its aura was calm, but sharp, having a black, dark-green and purple tint to it.

The third was just as bizarre as the rest, looking like the former, only that its legs were digitigrade, had long hair, and the colors its body possessed were different along with its Aura.

Its face wasn’t Human-like, but looked more beastial unlike the previous two.

And lastly, the inconspicuous being standing right behind them all, looking like a silver mannequin with a pair of red eyes.

Drax wasn’t scared of them, just curious. And if anyone heard his thoughts right now, they would have laughed at him.

He was standing before three Draconic beings with Authority over powerful elements. Maybe he had a reason for being confident, it will be known soon enough.

"Will you kindly excuse me?" Drax asked, tilting his head to the side.

Before he could even proceed to ask another question, Damion’s fist appeared before him instantly, smashing his head in and flinging him back.

He didn’t let up and followed with another attack, his body torquing hard and fast, letting his tail rip through the air and slap Drax into the ground.

There was no resistance from Drax as his body was turned to mush instantly.

Just like that, one of Damion’s greatest bullies was killed.

There was no satisfaction in it. Damion didn’t feel anything after his death,and he wondered why he had taken Drax so seriously in the first place, if he was going to hand his life over to him just like that.

Damion shook his head, staring at the corpse with boredom.

[Shadow Puppeteer has been activated]

Right before their eyes, Kenzo, Matilda and Lyra watched Shadow Puppeteer activate on a corpse, adding another living weapon to Damion’s arsenal.

"I don’t have time to give you a proper name," Damion uttered. "So I’ll just call you Speed."

The new Shadow Puppet stood to its feet, knelt before Damion then disappeared into his storage.

"Defend yourselves," Damion turned around and said again, causing the twins and Lyra to raise their brows.

"From what?" Matilda asked. "Wasn’t he the threat?"

"No," Damion simply said, resulting in them raising their guards.

’He’s coming,’ Nyx said into Damion’s head.

’Why should I be worried about him?’ Damion asked.

’The warring races aren’t the only dangers in the Convergence Dimension,’ Nyx began, his voice grim. ’There is danger everywhere, literally,’

’My men received words that a student with fire powers entered a cave filled with saturated Fire atributted Mana Rocks, and began absorbing it greedily.’

’So? That’s good for Noriko. At least he would be strong enough to help the Human Race in the war,’ Damion interrupted.

’No! That’s not my point,’ Nyx replied. ’What I’m trying to say is, he didn’t just start absorbing the Fire atributted Mana Rocks, but did so in the presence of the Wild Pink Roses.’

Damion stopped himself from asking, So?, Again.

’I remember telling you that the Wild Pink Rose was Wild, right?’

’Yes! Get on with it, the pauses are annoying,’ Damion said, eager to hear what Nyx was getting at.

’Well, staying in the presence of the Wild Pink Rose caused you to hallucinate, but what do you think would happen if someone was exposed to it for long, without having the power to differentiate reality from the fake, or purge themselves of the hallucinogen?’

Damion paused, his mind generating multiple scenarios that didn’t look too good.

’The reason I told you to get ready is because his hallucinations have made him see the Humans as the enemies,’

’My men have noticed that his powers have increased dangerously, because he has attacked two Humans already and killed them.’ 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Damion sucked in a cold breath.

’Worse, he’s heading this way, right towards you four.’

Damion calmed down immediately and deactivated all his skills, sitting down in calm meditation.

His actions confused the other three and Nyx greatly, but he was in no mood to start explaining anything to them.

His Mana began to replenish as he meditated, and his body calmed down, sinking further into a relaxed state.

Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, and his body began to transform again, Shadow Possession activating at the same time.

Only ten seconds had passed since he started meditating, but he had already recovered enough to enter another battle.

He rose to his feet, staring ahead with unshakeable focus and resolve.

They felt it before they saw it.

The temperature in the region dropped drastically, and the fauna around began to dry up, falling dead to the side as the water in them evaporated.

The soil hardened, turning into brown/black crust. The smell of smoke reached their nostrils next, further giving the twins and Lyra an understanding of their opponent.

Kenzo, especially, felt something challenging his Authority over Fire, and slowly, his silver Qi was getting suppressed, and his Hellfire burned with more fervor, mirroring his discontent.

A primal growl escaped his mouth, and his transformation progressed, turning more beastial and destructive.

His height increased to a towering four meters, and his armor-like scales turned into normal Dragon scales, overlapping and creating an impenetrable armor.

His red claws grew, and he got on all fours, his body swelling and his muscles threatening to burst.

A bright orange dot appeared in the sky, and Kenzo opened his mouth and roared, his cry shattering the atmosphere as soundwaves, energy and flames rippled outward...

This was a battle between two Kings.
