-THOOM!

"W-What’s going on?!" Bryan spoke in a wary tone as the entire hotel shook as if hit by a tremor.

-BWOOM!

Another muffled boom, one much louder than the previous resounded again!

Confused by the sudden occurrence, the youths along with their purple-haired instructor, tried to stabilize their footing as the terrace they were standing on vigorously shook again.

In addition to that, they all still continued hearing multiple booming sounds that just kept getting louder by the second.

-BOOM!

Even the rankers staying on the beach tasked with protecting the beachfront resort, were in a similar state of confusion.

The other instructors inside the hotel on the other hand, did their absolute best to calm the rest of the cadets down, even though they themselves were slowly beginning to get wary of the sudden tremors and earthquakes.

-TWOOM!

-BOOM!

Without any form of explanation for the unforeseen occurrence, the exploding sounds kept increasing without stopping for about two more minutes.

Each time it did, the entirety of the beach and its surroundings vigorously shook in response to each muffled explosion, some evacuated weaker buildings and palm trees around it even beginning to topple and crash to the ground.

Cordelia who was composedly gazing around even with the entire oddity happening, instantly had a frown form on her face when she noticed something with mana sense.

’What?! But h-’

Before the beautiful instructor could even complete her sentence, a much larger and far more resounding explosion rang through the entirety of the area as a gargantuan machinery, the size of a small island, suddenly burst out of the sea in a grand and utter display of destruction.

-BOOOOOOM!!!

Splashing the cerulean sea water and the golden sands of the beach in a very large radius, the humongous hunk of metal, kept rapidly moving upwards without stopping even after leaving a ridiculously deep and gigantic hole at the beach’s shores.

The rankers who had been situated on the beach, upon having sensed the entire thing coming previously with mana sense, had effectively given themselves a substantial distance before it burst out.

But as even that happened, what had caught the purple-haired instructor’s gaze, was what she had previously noticed with mana sense.

"Good gracious…" she mouthed in total disbelief as she watched the gigantic machine, gradually getting pushed upwards by two of her cadets.

Having realized that it had indeed been true, Cordelia’s gaze widened so much in a display of complete and utter shock.

As the other cadets on the terrace slowly brought down their arms which they had been using to shield their eyes from the exploding mixture of sand and water too, they all soon saw the exact same thing Cordelia had seen.

"Flynn!/Aiden!" Ivelia and Caroline had been the first to shout, a complex mixture of emotions on their faces ranging from total relief, confusion, joy and utter perplexity.

’Why is his hair white?!’ Adrian, Beatrice and Amelia couldn’t help but wonder, still very much baffled by the current scenario.

"You’ve got to be freakin’ kidding me…" Lucas on the other hand softly spoke out, genuinely confounded by the sight before his eyes.

And this exact state of mind, transferred over to everyone on the beach and in the hotel as they watched the gigantic machinery, almost the twice the size of a grand and luxurious airship getting lifted into the air by only two cadets!

Super strength might be a norm in this world but even then, the object they were lifting, whatever the hell it was, was something only high-tier S-rankers and low-tier SS-rankers could lift.

And even then, even those set of rare individuals would struggle immensely to raise something of such magnitude easily, talk less of two cadets who were still nowhere near those ranks.

In addition to their disbelief was the undeniable fact that they had pushed it from deep underground, a scenario that should’ve almost been impossible when you consider all the levels of earth that they would’ve needed to push past!

But before more questions could be added to the ever-increasing list, they all witnessed as the machinery that was raised up, soon began to heat up with a loud mechanical hum.

The next fraction of a second after that, a massively expansive ray of pure white energy shot out of it, obliterating all the previously set-up barriers like flaky wood as it ascended straight up into the sky.

Cordelia eyes along with the other instructors and rankers further widened at this phenomenon while Ivar, immediately realized what the gigantic machinery actually was.

"It’s the railgun…" he quietly muttered in a complex mixture of disbelief and realization, Maya having the exact same expression on her own features.

As if serving to prevent the two youths from finishing their mission till the very end, the machinery slowly began to weigh even heavier as its destructive rays shot out, serving as an opposing force to Flynn and Aiden’s push.

The moment they had uprooted the imposingly ginormous hunk of metal from its roots, they had noticed as it seemingly switched over to a back-up source of power with a few mechanical movements and hums, all of which meant that the destructive rays were still going to fire nonetheless.

’Dammit!’ Aiden cursed as he slowly watched them begin to descend under the sudden pushback of The Railgun, an immense wave of annoyance flooding his entire being as his muscles screamed in agony.

Flynn on the other hand, having retracted two of his slates to his leg to help with flight, used the immense wave of annoyance that he was also feeling from the pushback they were getting and channeled it into a deafening roar while chanting a new spell.

"[Telekinetic Series: Willbend]-!!!"

The youth’s resounding roar boomed and echoed across the vast expanse of the area around and beneath him and instantly, he and Aiden’s previous momentum returned to them as an invisible force suddenly dragged the ginormous ray-firing Railgun upwards.

’What?!’ Ivelia couldn’t help but inwardly question the moment she heard her partner’s booming voice, knowing fully well that from what Flynn had previously told her, [Willbend] was a spell that would only be possible at S-rank.

Cordelia on the other hand, unwilling to watch her cadets handle the load all on their own anymore, instantly used a spell of her own.

’[Spatial Series: Wormhole Boost]-!’

Instantly, an almost transparent, violet-like energy pulsed from her as she raised her open palms upwards, further boosting both brother’s ascent to the skies at a maddening burst of speed and power.

-BWOOM!!!

As if on cue too, more and more instructors poured out of the Aquamaris and along with rankers of the Tower, all began using support and augmentative-based spells to further push The Railgun upwards.

-FWOOM!

-TWOOM!!

-SWOOSH!!!

Feeling the weight of The Railgun’s massive structure becoming much easier to deal with, Aiden and Flynn kept pushing the gargantuan hunk of metal further, past the troposphere and straight into the stratosphere!

-TWOOM!

Realizing that the machinery was far enough away to be completely obliterated now without affecting any form of human life whatsoever, both brothers willed one final push and then sent the entire machinery hurtling further into the stratosphere.

-FWOOM!

Now, as the two brothers slowly watched the burst of power gradually begin to leave their bodies, a certain wave of immense exhaustion slowly began to seep into their beings.

However, they both knew they weren’t done just yet and as they both fell down backwards, barely able to muster any strength or mana into their beings, they both still used two different attacks.

Aiden, pooled all of the remaining mana he had into his hands while Flynn, retrieved his katana from his spatial bracelet.

And then, in a simultaneous manner, the two brothers released a joint attack.

"[Gravity Series: Singularity] …"

"{Moonveil Art – First Form: Severance} …"

As the two attacks released, Aiden raising an open palm upwards while Flynn gently slashed downwards with his katana, a viciously churning green orb and a pale-blue crescent arc of energy, rushed towards The Railgun’s humongous structure and collided with it.

-Fwoosh…

-Swish…

-KABOOOOOOOOOM-!!!

The Railgun, a gargantuan weapon of mass destruction, was finally destroyed, erupting into a fiery, cataclysmic burst of energy which then exploded to oblivion with an almost deafening, heaven-defying boom.

As the fiery explosion, akin to a smoky, mushroom-shaped cloudburst reflected through the pupils and irises of their very eyes, Aiden and Flynn, content with their achievement, finally succumbed to their immensely tired state and slowly, closed their eyes at mid-air even as they fell.

-Swooooossshhh…

As they hurtled backwards and head first downwards like a streaking comet, both brothers knew that the rest would sort itself out now that they had destroyed the railgun.

The rest of the cadets, instructors and rankers on the other hand, whom had only been watching as the gargantuan explosion happened from afar, held their breaths, waiting for the youths to descend back.

And they didn’t have to wait long because no less than a minute after the explosion had happened, the figure of the two brothers, descended downwards through the clouds.

It was obvious to everyone staring at their figure that the two of them had passed out of exhaustion and were just hurtling downwards and rapidly without control.

Before even Cordelia or any other ranker or instructor could do anything though, Caroline and Ivelia had already leaped off the balcony before anyone could stop them while using a combo spell.

"[Flora Series: Rosebloom Stalk]-!"

"[Earth Series: Wall Fomation]-!"

-Thruukkk!

-Grrrgggkkk!

Instantaneously, a towering green stalk of vine and earth merged together as it continuously kept increasing in length towards the sky, all while aiming straight for Aiden and Flynn’s falling figures.

In what could be summed up as literal seconds, both ladies’ combo spell soon reached out to their respective partners.

With gentle grabs along with a skillful manipulation of mana across their arms, the two ladies tightly held on to each of them while cradling their heads in their bosoms with happy and relieved expressions on their faces.

Both brothers on the other hand, just kept sleeping soundly in their arms, unaware of it all.
