Extra And MC-Chapter 162 - 158 - Events Of A Long-Forgotten Past I
A/N: Made a mistake in the last chapter where I wrote ’Jake & Alyssa’. Should’ve been ’Zack’ not ’Jake’. Although I’ve fixed it, I still wanted to point that out.

(Millenniums of years ago…)
"Weak!"
-Twack!!!
"Sloppy!"
-Twack!!!
"Disappointing!"
-Twack!!!
With a yawn that signified that he was bored out of his mind, a man who seemed to be in his late twenties, brutally continued to thrash the tweens before him with a wooden twig.
Yes, a wooden twig.
"I… hate… you! I freaking… hate you, you… damn bastard!" a young Sigrun lashed out at the black-haired man with glowing red eyes in white robes before them.
"Oh wow! What a brash tongue you have you battle-maniac?!" the man faked a surprised expression as a mischievous smile tugged on the corners of his lips.

The young girl was huffing tiredly, bruises all over her body and her small wings were spread out menacingly as she frowned in response.
Not just her, but her other sisters too, were in the exact same state, the only difference being that they were more quiet and were currently gauging their options as they stood before him.
’ Ashildr, you take left and I’ll take right! ’ a young Morrigan directly spoke into her sister’s mind, her attention laser-focused on the man before them.
’ Roger that! ’ Ashildr replied while their eldest sister kept giving more orders to her other sisters.
’ Senya, you’ll be the distraction! Attack with a flashy move! ’
’ Sigrun, just keep doing as you’ve been doing! Full Frontal Attack! Let the guys sneak up on him! ’
Listening to her orders, sweats constantly dripping down all of their faces, they both simultaneously answered.
’ Noted! ’
"I do hope you all realize that Zack can accurately read what’s going through your minds at the moment!" a young woman with blonde-hair and piercing blue eyes called from the edge of the arena with a mischievous smile.
"Also, Amael, Xavier, you’re both doing a shit job at masking your presences! Be! Better!" she added mockingly, a small chuckle escaping her lips.
Suddenly reappearing a few fair meters behind Zack, their longswords poised to strike, both brothers had a deep frown settle on their features as they inwardly cursed while panting tiredly.
’This darn blondie!!!’
"Dammit Alyssa! Would it kill you to not rain on our parade while we’re training?!" Sigrun lashed out at her this time but the young woman just shrugged while replying.
"As a matter of fact, it will! We haven’t seen you guys in years and that’s the best you can do hmm?!"
As Alyssa kept egging the children on, a few members of the martial arts sect who were walking by just sighed in resignation.
The children whom the blonde woman was constantly pestering and the young man was currently thrashing were by far the strongest set of individuals even among the highest rank of disciples in the entire sect.
Even the strongest of the younger and even the older adults shivered at the thought of individually facing any of the six disciples.
And yet, when those two came around, they’d always make light work of them.
Truth be told, most of the people in the sect knew absolutely nothing about the two individuals and yet, their grandmasters seemed to cherish and respect them so much.
This was why they were always welcomed with open arms into the sect anytime.
"Well, I’ll lay off your asses for now. Should head over to greet them" Alyssa then said, turning around to walk up the long set of stairs that led to the grandmasters abode.
In the background, as she walked upwards, debris and concrete was constantly flying around, spells were released and the very fabric of reality was being messed with as the children all ganged up against Zack.
Bringing time to a definitive halt around the man, Xavier dashed forward at an alarming speed along with Amael who had a miniature sun that was crackling with golden sparks, forming on his palm.
Morrigan had her golden particles transform into multiple layers of portals that each brought out all manners of golden astral yet destructive artilleries poised to fire in a deadly assault.
Sigrun had already altered the floor around Zack with her dreamscape into scalding hot magma while Ashildr had all four basic elements swirling in the palms of her hand, an incomprehensible wave of energy also emitting from her.
Senya on the other hand, had a gigantic corporeal dragon emanate like a mirage from her entire being as it roared maliciously, its breath ready to douse the entire area in a destructive burst of prana.
’I swear to god these kids are monsters…’ Zack sighed as he watched all of the attacks rapidly closing in on him without mercy.
’But, they’re still years away from actually winning in a fight against me…’ a wicked smile surfaced on his face.
Licking his lips casually, despite how much of an effect Xavier’s [Time Dilation] spell should’ve had on him, Jake used his authority.
"⸨ Ripple ⸩" he muttered.
Instantly, all of the attacks aiming for him dissipated in an instant, putting all of the children into a shocked yet similarly confused state.
In addition to that, an inexplicable wave of energy pushed all of them backwards like toilet paper in the wind, completely cancelling out whatever attacks and plans they had in mind.
Watching as they all careened gracelessly and painfully across the wide arena, Zack nodded his head in satisfaction and said.
"Hmmm. I’ll give you all a five out of ten today"
Stroking his chin in assessment of their teamwork, Amael and Morrigan were the first to spring back up and talk simultaneously.
"But we can still go on!"
"Yeah no. Have you checked the time at all today?" Zack raised his palm up and said.
"It’s eleven in the morning and for your information, we’ve been at it since six."
Frowning upon realizing that he was right, two of them slumped back onto the destroyed arena while the rest slowly got up, their faces contorted in pain as they winced.
"We’ll be sticking around for quite a long while this time around so if you want to spar again, let me know" the young man then said to them as he leaped out of the arena and proceeded to make his way into the grandmasters abode.
Watching as he walked off, his white robes flowing in the wind, Xavier was the first to speak this time.
"I can’t believe we lost to him again…"
"I thought we’d gotten stronger but we’re nowhere near their level" Morrigan coolly replied while sighing.
"And to make matters worse, he used a twig! A freaking twig!" Sigrun pulled on her hair in frustration.
"I think we should just be grateful Alyssa didn’t join in today" Ashildr quietly commented.
Hearing those words, all six of them shivered in utter fear.
The blonde-haired woman was nowhere near as strong as Jake but she very well made up for it with her devilish cunning.
It was almost as if she could read someone fifty moves ahead and everything was just a game to her for the most part.
"One is an absolute powerhouse while the other is just one heck of a smartass… Truly a recipe for disaster if anyone gets caught in their web" Sigrun once again spoke with a sigh this time and the others couldn’t help but agree.
"You’re awfully quite today Amael?" Senya then threw a curious question towards the lad with snow-white hair.
Gazing at all five as they stared at him in curiosity, Amael gave out a thin smile and then began speaking.
"Well, I was just thinking that sometime in the future, we might each potentially be even stronger than those two"
"That way, they wouldn’t have to be the only ones going on those year-long expeditions to exterminate those vile demons"
"We’ll also be able to help out" young Amael paused there for a while, after which his expression then suddenly darkened, a burning hatred in his sapphire blue eyes.
"I, even potentially, plan to kill that darn demon king when he comes back to life again" he declared.
Watching him talk about his thoughts and plans for the future, all five just nodded in agreement.
The four young Valkyries especially, shared the exact same sentiments as Amael.
Despite being very young when their planet had been ravaged and destroyed to oblivion, they had witnessed firsthand how everything had unfolded.
How their mother, the Queen, had done what was necessary just to ensure that they all survived.
Right now, they all still had it quite easy since they were being sheltered by their grandmasters but still, they were all in a hurry to prove themselves strong enough to be able to take on the demons.
And although they were already very capable, they were still very much forbidden by their grandmasters from heading out to fight any demons for now.
The reason for that, they really did not know.
"Well, I plan to be able to master my [Series] to perfection…" a young Xavier broke their short silence and said, his piercing-blue eyes staring at the crystal clear skies.
"Despite sharing the same sentiments as you all, I believe that there should be a definitive way to end that bastard for good. Even if that means keeping him in an endless time loop…"
"Gaining mastery over my [Series], I feel like I’ll be able to pull off a feat like that" he concluded with a pretty mature expression for his young age.
"Always the innovator ain’t you little brother?" Amael chuckled and said while the young Valkyries also did the same.
"Well, I think it’s very possible…" he then added while patting his brother’s shoulder.
"Let’s hope we live long enough to see it come true though" Amael concluded.
