I Am Also An Extraordinary Creature-Chapter 1903 - 1308: Reap What You Sow? (Part 2)
At least when it was a normal Dusk, Tia did not treat Zheng Yichen as a drum that could destroy the world. After the Dusk turned abnormal, she fiercely beat against Zheng Yichen without stopping until the whole world was shattered.
When Tia dealt with Zheng Yichen, she focused on fragmenting and weakening Zheng Yichen’s consciousness, not breaking his Time Gold Body.
Even without using oversized attacks, she aimed to shatter the time flow affecting Zheng Yichen’s Time Gold Body if it could not be broken directly.
It’s clear by comparison: the normal Dusk, no matter how much it hoped for the end of the Collective World, would not resort to such despicable acts as pulling the oxygen tubes, while the abnormal Dusk would.
So let’s first let the Dusk return to normal.
"BOSS, please take care of yourself."
"If possible..." Zheng Yichen’s mouth twitched slightly. With a flick of one hand, a long spear formed from Time Power came into his grasp. The Time Power was becoming increasingly effective in the Dusk Territory.
Originally, his Time Power was of the decelerating type, but after the time flow within the Twilight Space collapsed, he gradually comprehended it, and with the influence of the Core of Chaos, he tapped into the accelerating type of power...
This was not a good thing.
The relaxation of the usage conditions for Time Power meant that the effect of Zheng Yichen’s Time Gold Body was gradually decreasing. What was once truly undefeatable could now genuinely be breached by the attacks of the Dusk nun.
However, the Time Power would not lose its function due to the chaos in the time flow, at least not with the Dusk nun here, who would not use time-related powers.
Both decelerating and accelerating types of Time Power could impact the approaching Dusk nun.
The Core of Chaos made Zheng Yichen’s attacks varied and unpredictable. He himself couldn’t foresee the outcome of the attacks, nor could the Dusk nun, but Zheng Yichen basically stopped using long-range methods.
Once long-range attacks became imbued with Chaos power, the Dusk nun would temporarily control such attacks and then throw them out of the Dusk Territory. Whether the attack resulted in a positive outcome or a disadvantage for Zheng Yichen didn’t matter, as long as it didn’t affect the Dusk Territory.
Dusk did not care whether Zheng Yichen’s attack would bring unfavorable results for himself and wouldn’t gamble on such outcomes.
At this moment, Dusk did not need variables anymore. The intended purposes had already been achieved, and after the Dusk had jumped and beaten upon this world-destroying drum, named Zheng Yichen, the effect had fully manifested.
To clean up this drum or seal it away was enough.
In any case, everything in the outside world couldn’t be maintained for long, only a few hours within the Dusk.
The long spear formed from Time Power swept across the front, causing subtle ripples in the air. A void like a vacuum passage appeared, and after Zheng Yichen rushed into this void, he experienced the feeling of being the Flash.
Everything around seemed to come to a standstill. Before he could take a few steps through the passage, his expression turned to one of disbelief, feeling like the Flash seeing Superman’s eyes moving in sync.
The actions of those Dusk nuns were very slow, but their eyes seemed unaffected, still normally fixated on Zheng Yichen.
They looked at Zheng Yichen with indifference, causing his scalp to tingle as he strengthened the self-influence of his Time Power. After passing through each region, a temporary parallel world phantom was left behind him.
The phantom being left behind seemed to suffer some unknown attack, with the body being directly torn apart, but the temporary parallel world didn’t disappear because of it, recording the tragic death conditions of those parallel selves of Zheng Yichen.
Zheng Yichen did not concern himself with those temporary parallel worlds created by chaotic time flow, as he had already elevated his own power to the limit.
Numerous parallel entities overlapped on himself, all carrying Chaos power, filled with unpredictable randomness.
Even though he had the Dusk Power, Zheng Yichen felt extremely uncomfortable, producing a sense of schizophrenia due to the overlap of numerous chaotic parallel entities.
Even so, the sense of crisis from the Dusk nun’s gaze did not fade.
An unexpected scar appeared before his eyes, a crack familiar to Zheng Yichen.
Even though the external Dusk nuns were in an almost stationary state, the attacks from the Dusk still descended, and Zheng Yichen instantly figured out why.
Although the Dusk couldn’t use Time Power, it could precisely track Zheng Yichen amidst the chaotic time flow, as long as it rendered the related attack appearance in front of him.
He was currently accelerating, with the surface time in Dusk unchanged, allowing attacks from the Dusk to normally occur.
It was just that the initial attacks didn’t catch up with Zheng Yichen, thus the ones bearing the brunt were the entities within those temporary parallel worlds left during his sprint.
Faced with the crack appearing ahead, Zheng Yichen charged into it without hesitation, his body instantly exploding into a blood mist, but this portion of blood mist quickly reformed, only with an additional slowly fading scar on him.
The scar was identical to the crack left in his eyes, only that it was partially canceled out by the numerous overlapping parallel entities upon himself. Those chaotic parallel entities that were weak were very weak, but due to the vast number, many had specific defensive specialties.
A few among those specially defensive parallel entities could even withstand such crack attacks from the Dusk.
Unfortunately, the randomness brought on by Chaos power was too great, and Zheng Yichen couldn’t replicate the state of those entities. If it could be easily replicated, the Core of Chaos would lose its necessary intensity.
The possibilities the Core of Chaos brought were nearly infinite, while offering no guarantees.
Afterward, Zheng Yichen was no longer attacked, but the entities within the temporary parallel worlds left behind continued to die. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Moreover, the distance of death increasingly approached him, signifying that the attack targeting from the Dusk was becoming more accurate. Still, Zheng Yichen wasn’t under as much pressure, only needing to worry about the final obstacle ahead.
A dozen or so Dusk nuns, who earlier anticipated, situated themselves on the unavoidable path of Zheng Yichen. They were also in a static state, except their cold eyes were still capable of normal movement.
Cracks manifested in their eyes.
Simultaneously, Zheng Yichen immediately destroyed his own eyes. Since the marks Dusk left on him were on his eyes, he chose not to need them anymore.
Even though the Life Force he possessed could allow him to regrow eyes, Zheng Yichen wasn’t sure whether such opportunistic behavior would be exploited by Dusk. It was better to be straightforward and give up vision completely at this last moment, relying on senses and the residual vision after losing eyes to carry out his final actions.
Zheng Yichen’s speed did not decrease as he stretched his hand to grasp the time-anchoring long spear. During the process, he could feel his body ’vaporizing’ several times.
The number of parallel entities overlapped on himself sharply decreased. The weakest among them were wiped out without gaining any time, but because of the possibilities Chaos power entailed, the stronger parallel entities managed to persist in part.
This part of parallel entities became the backbone force ensuring Zheng Yichen could take the final step.
Their emergence was beyond even Zheng Yichen’s control, naturally existing outside the calculations of Dusk.
Crackling sounds erupted by Zheng Yichen’s ear.
"I truly brought this upon myself!" The long spear meant to anchor time and accompany Tia’s banishment was crushed by Zheng Yichen.
The near standstill time around resumed to normal, Lilith’s voice immediately sounding: "BOSS, I’m sorry—"
"It was a good cooperation." Zheng Yichen acknowledged with a hum, his eyes not yet restored, but he could feel that the previously accumulated foundation was entirely obliterated.
He accelerated by influencing time to approach Tia, while Lilith was responsible for clashing with Dusk outside.
Less than half a second had passed in the outside world...
