It did not take long for Miguel to decide.

He considered his situation carefully and decided to choose the one that was near the Red Family.

For one thing, he must always be near the Red Family in order to watch their movements and possibly catch the mastermind behind the assassins.

The Red Family was also inside Blazing City, near the school and the market, which he must frequent later on to search for materials and ingredients.

Damian looked at his choices and could not be more than happy to agree.

He immediately made the necessary arrangements and even told Journey that they could go there now and see if it was to his taste.

As he had nothing to do, Miguel agreed, and they immediately went toward the chosen villa.

It was only a few minutes walk from the Red Family, so they arrived at the place in no time.

The villa was just a stone’s throw away from the edge of the humongous city wall. Surrounded by trees and standing atop a gentle slope, the villa offered a blend of tranquility and urban convenience.

As you approach the property, a grand driveway bordered by vibrant gardens leads you to the elegant facade of the villa. Its architecture was fairly modern; it emitted both luxury and tranquility with just one look. It also has tall windows that allow natural light to pass through, illuminating the interior with natural light and allowing the people inside to view the cityscapes.

As they came in front, Miguel looked back and saw a panoramic view of the bustling Blazing City’s distant cityscapes.

After Damian informed the caretaker, they were allowed inside and were greeted with the spacious and meticulously designed interior. The foyer was polished with marble floors and a luxurious chandelier that lightly illuminated the whole area. It has a high ceiling and a huge space, much to Miguel’s liking.

Damian proceeded to tour them around the villa. It was apparent that he had been here before because of how familiar he was with the interior of the villa.

The villa’s bedrooms are havens of relaxation. Each was uniquely styled, offering serene and tranquil views. The master suite was like an entire house in itself; it was a private balcony overlooking the gardens and the cityscapes far ahead.

This villa also has an underground basement. Miguel immediately decided to carry out all his important activities here, including Aaliyah’s blacksmithing and his alchemy later on. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

What it needed was just some proper countermeasures to prevent prying methods, and it will be good to go already.

After touring around, Miguel was very satisfied with the villa overall.

He told Damian that this place was it and that his choice was set in stone.

Edith also expressed her liking for the villa, and she could not wait to do some ’important’ things with Miguel here. Even as a warrior who often got her clothes torn during a battle, Edith still valued her privacy over anything else.

This villa also seemed to be very expensive by this city’s standards. Miguel could only imagine how many Gold Coins they used to make this villa.

Damian was also happy with his choice.

This actually worked for him and the Red Family as well.

Just like Miguel would be able to observe their actions easily, the Red Family could also do the same to him.

Although they were bound by a heavenly vow, Journey was still technically not part of their family. They still have worries here and there, especially if he has other motives for coming here.

There was a huge space at the center of the huge Red Family villa. The event will be held there, and the most important figures in Blazing City were invited to attend the ceremony.

This event was also not only to announce his identity to the whole Blazing City; it was also to inform the public of what happened to Erika and the others and the consequences for doing so. Just like ’Journey’s’ existence, this was also a threat.

For Miguel, though, this threat was very ineffective considering they have done almost nothing to save Erika and the others. When he asked Damian about this, he simply replied that the young must face their challenges on their own. At the same time, he also said that he had indeed sent someone to rescue them from the bandits’ clash.
