I Got A Title: Lord Of The Time!-Chapter 74: Conversation of six people
Chapter 74: Conversation of six people
Six people looked at each other, creating an awkward silence that lasted quite a while until Silia sighed and said:
"I’m glad there are people from our academy who managed to survive..." she trailed off and looked at Lin, who snorted slightly and paid her no attention.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Aran clapped his hands and laughed, looking at Silia’s group and saying:
"Ha-ha-ha. Of course. I’m also glad to see that our queen Silia is doing fine. Anyway, let’s sit down and share with each other how we spent our time in the Magic World."
Aran sat down on the green grass and gestured for Silia’s group to sit as well, so their conversation would be more comfortable.
Royal and Lin shook their heads and also decided to sit down to listen to Silia’s group’s adventures.
"U-uh..." Egro, feeling awkward, looked at Lin and quickly relaxed, realizing that he seemed to be alright.
"He also ended up in a situation similar to mine... From the look of him, Aran, and Royal, you can tell they’re not really comrades, more like people willing to cooperate only for their own benefit..." He looked at the innocent Yulan and then at himself, sighing.
"I think if we had joined that group, we would’ve lost everything quickly..."
Still in admiration of Lin, Egro wanted to open his mouth and start explaining what had happened to them. But he was quickly stopped by Silia, who began telling Aran and the others herself:
"The three of us appeared in the Dead Lands and managed to unite, forming a small team."
Aran raised an eyebrow.
"That’s all?"
Silia frowned and asked:
"What else do you want to know?"
"Maybe you ran into something strange along the way? We experienced all kinds of things, which makes me very curious about what happened to others in this cursed place..." Aran smiled slightly.
"Is there even a point in telling?" Silia frowned at Aran’s openly manipulative request for information.
Even though she might not have been as cunning as he was, she could feel each of his words like cold morning water — his current actions seemed far too "transparent" to her.
"Then... you can leave," Aran smiled brightly and pointed to the forest they had come from.
Royal looked coldly at Aran and said in a serious tone that made Yulan flinch slightly:
"Enough, Aran," he looked at Silia and continued, "It doesn’t matter how you survived — if you’re already here, that shows your ability to survive."
He returned to a neutral expression and asked her:
"What do you plan to do now?"
Silia sighed in relief when Royal intervened in her conversation with Aran. Smiling, she replied:
"We were planning to keep moving through the forest, since we think Fort Post – Death might be somewhere out there, but so far we’ve had no success, even though it’s been more than three weeks."
Silia looked at the group of three guys, evaluating them, and asked:
"And you — where were you planning to go? Also to Fort Post?"
Royal shook his head and slowly showed Silia and her companions the map they had received from the human skeleton.
Silia and Egro’s eyes widened instantly, and Yulan, not understanding what was going on, asked them:
"A map? What’s wrong with it?"
"Yes. It’s a map we got from a human skeleton in the Magic World, and it leads to some sort of castle," Royal explained slowly and pointed to the middle of the map, where several cliffs were drawn.
"Right now, we’re here. We still have to travel a long way to the right, which will take about a week. Are you coming with us?"
Silia paused and tried to decide if she really needed to do this or not. After all, a map leading to an unknown castle was interesting, but also dangerous.
"If I agree, then we’ll have six people in total, each of them good fighters and able to support each other... So, there won’t be much danger in the Magic World, unless we run into Distorted creatures of Demon level or higher."
Silia was about to answer when she heard Egro’s voice:
"I’ll go with you," he stood up from his spot and sat down next to Lin.
Yulan, not understanding Egro’s actions, was slightly confused, but then also decided and said:
"I’ll come with you too," she stood up and sat next to Lin.
"..." Silia watched the actions of the two people with surprise.
Royal smiled slightly and asked her:
"Well? Two of your friends already joined us. Are you really going to head to Fort Post alone? Or... will you join us after all?"
Silia was silent for a moment, but after glancing at Lin and the others, she said:
"Yes. I’m with you."
Royal nodded, and Aran, sitting off to the side, laughed.
"I knew you’d join us."
Silia crossed her arms in front of her chest and asked:
"And how did you all end up together? Especially gathering such a "strong" team?"
"Ah! Let me start," Aran raised one hand and covered half his face to seem more mysterious.
"I... appeared in the hills. I, like a little princess, wished to find my own prince who could rescue me and take me to his "kingdom"... And I found one!" he pointed at Lin, who looked at him with a confused expression.
Silia: "..."
"But that’s not the end! Then we had great adventures in another world. We traveled countless kilometers and experienced many changes in our relationship... I! As Lin’s heart and soul, saved him from a terrifying group of cannibals!"
Royal raised a fist to punch Aran, but he instantly vanished from his spot and reappeared near Silia, continuing his tale:
"I became Lin’s hero! I became his guardian angel! And our journey continued, now with a new strength... Then Royal appeared: a terrifying, arrogant, radical pseudo-king who attacked Lin and started doing "those" things with him!!"
Silia sat more comfortably and continued listening to Aran with interest, occasionally glancing at Royal and Lin with a strange expression.
Whoosh!
Royal swung his golden sword and tried to slice Aran, but Aran easily dodged and appeared somewhere in the distance, shouting:
"Luckily, I saved Lin and tore him away from Royal! Then I showed Royal my power so he’d know you can’t treat Lin that way, and he tried to fight me — but was soundly defeated!"
Royal snorted coldly and simply decided to ignore Aran. He looked at Lin, Egro, and Yulan, who were calmly sitting and discussing something.
"Lin, how did you survive in the Magic World? Where did you appear?"
Lin smiled slightly at Egro and replied:
"That’s a long story. Basically, I ended up in a hilly area and met Aran along the way."
"Oh? And how hard was it to survive in the hills?" asked Yulan.
Lin calmly answered:
"Not very difficult, when you and your partner are strong."
He answered each of Egro and Yulan’s questions politely, without showing any negative emotion.
"Interesting..." Royal saw this and smiled slightly.
Lin immediately raised his eyes to Royal and looked at him with a completely cold gaze that said: "You’d better not."
Royal laughed and went back to doing his own thing.
