The dragon god, a force capable of catastrophic destruction, evolving into an even more formidable entity, was a scenario that demanded their attention and strategic planning. There wasn't much that they could do to stop him, though… it would be nice if Rain and the others could find some mcguffins to weaken him…

"The dragon god is rebelling against those who control the dragons as well, so I feel like I should bet a bit on him too," The overseer said. "Still, given his usual attitude, I know for a fact that he would just target me as well."

"It must be hard to be this popular," Rain shrugged. "Regardless, it seems that you don't know why he was reincarnated as well… even though you witnessed both of us."

"I wasn't made aware of you two until you began to stand out and when he left the planet to check the solar system," the overseer explained.

That made sense… it wasn't like they would benefit in shape or form by acting without thinking in that world and aside from that, they didn't show any different traits from the others… even though both of them used the system.

"Regardless, it is time for me to go," The overseer said. "It is time for you to wake up as well. When you wake up, you will obtain the power to create dungeons."

The dream world had its own peculiar sense of time, and Rain wasn't surprised to find that several hours had passed in the real world while he felt like he had spent only a few minutes in conversation with the overseer.

Stretching his limbs, Rain absorbed the residual knowledge from the dream. The information about the dragon god's ambitions and the ability to create dungeons lingered in his thoughts.

Level 1: Slime's Dungeon Creation - Unlock the ability to summon and control slime dungeons with several elemental properties. Overtime, the dungeon can grow naturally, but it can grow even faster the more people use magic inside of it.

When Rain woke up, he found that notification… it was amazing that the overseer crafted path with even that kind of skill, but maybe someone was able to do that in the past and he learned from it. Regardless, the bonuses of one hundred wisdom per level was quite something… Rain's mana pool will skyrocket, even more after he breaks the limit of that path.

Rain, intrigued by the Dungeon Maker's Path, studied the intricacies of the magic. The essence of dungeon creation was to manipulate the magical energies within a specific area to form a space that could be influenced and controlled by the creator. Rain discovered that the key to dungeon growth lay in attracting creatures and individuals with mana.

The dungeon, designed to exploit the magical properties of its inhabitants, lured animals and people into its depths. Once inside, those too weak to withstand the influence of the dungeon were gradually affected by the ambient mana. The magical energies of the dungeon would seep into their beings, changing them and infusing them with the power and properties of the dungeon itself.

Rain realized that this process was not instantaneous; it required time and exposure for the dungeon's effects to take hold. Creatures and individuals within the dungeon would gradually absorb its essence, becoming stronger and acquiring characteristics aligned with the dungeon's nature.

Furthermore, Rain learned that a dungeon could be changed to house specific types of creatures. By concentrating on a particular monster or creature type, the creator could shape the dungeon's characteristics to focus to the growth and development of those specific entities.

However, this specialization came with a trade-off – the dungeon would require more time to level up, as it needed nutrients from the surrounding land to support the growth and creation of these specialized creatures.

"Well, we have time… possibly," Rain thought. "We need to keep working while thinking about the future, after all."

"You met him again, already," Sakaki said. "I was hoping to meet him again, but I guess he is like that."

"It seems that he doesn't mind giving you a hand. Still, he could have done more," Larisa said.

"He probably can't if he wants to keep a balance and make the system keep growing," Rain said. "Besides, while we don't know his goals completely, I know now that he isn't totally an ally yet since he might help the dragon god as well. As expected, he will be on the side on the person who has more chances of defending the planet."

"I am not sure if the dragon god actually wants to defend this planet…" Nigel said.

It has been a while since Rain saw the dragon god… he Wondered where he might be. Still, not finding him now was probably the best idea. Regardless, everyone else was already ready to move, so created his domain to cross the barrier between the layers once more.

Eventually, they returned to the vessel and then they had a long meeting with the others and explained everything once again. Although it was barely noticeable, everyone could tell that something changed about Rain, while he looked like that before, now he didn't try to hide when he was thinking about something and was troubled by it.

The overseer only used the power to create dungeons a couple of times because he didn't want to make the people in that world grow strong too fast and because the dragons would benefit the most out of that. However, they were no longer there, so Rain didn't have to worry about that. Still, he had to think a lot to understand how was the best way to use that power efficiently.
