Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 148 - 149: Why Not Tell? 1
The black Cayenne sped down the road.
Iris Harris turned her head to look at the hurried crowd outside the window, her expression calm.
The car cabin was very quiet, so quiet that only the sound of their breathing could be heard.
She didn’t know when it started, but they had already become what they are now.
Once chasing his figure, it seemed like just yesterday, sitting in his car was an impossible dream for her.
Time is indeed wonderful. It gave her everything and took everything away, leaving her alone in the end.
The person she once yearned for all her life, this time, really wouldn’t come back.
Her first love, and also her last.
Perhaps she was indeed too stubborn, which led to such an ending. If she could have been a bit weaker, retreating from Brandan Hyde’s repeated indifference, maybe she wouldn’t have been hurt like this.
However... even if she were given another chance, this would still be the only outcome. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
Her stubbornness in her character is both a strength and a fatal flaw, so no matter how many times she starts over, she would still end up with such a result.
She didn’t feel any regret. She had fought for it, waited for it, and even if she failed, it didn’t betray the promises they once made.
Iris Harris thought about this and gently exhaled a breath.
Soon...
All of this will be over.

The Cayenne stopped at the entrance of the hospital.
Brandan Hyde quickly got out of the car, opened the door, and pulled Iris Harris out of the car.
"..." Iris Harris pressed her lips together. She still wanted to resist a bit, but Brandan Hyde’s expression was terrifying. She even felt that his face was paler than hers, making her somewhat afraid, so she could only let him pull her towards the hospital.
The doctors had already been contacted, and as soon as Brandan Hyde arrived, someone came to meet them. The nurses surrounded her, leading her from one department to another for a comprehensive medical examination.
Even though Iris Harris hadn’t come for an examination before, she had already had a premonition in her heart about what it might be, nothing unexpected.
The whole body check took up most of the time.
Brandan Hyde leaned against the wall, arms crossed, quietly waiting.
He seemed to have returned to that day, the time when he took the money to find the kidnappers to redeem someone, that feeling of waiting for a verdict.
Baseless fear surged in his heart, he closed his eyes, finding it hard to stay calm.
"Brandan!"
Lady Hyde rushed over, she came to Brandan Hyde’s side and asked, "Where is Iris? Have the examination results come out?"
"Still in the examination."
Hearing this, a hint of worry appeared on Lady Hyde’s face.
Her palms were filled with cold sweat, her fingers icy all the way here. She didn’t know how things had come to this.
Waiting is the most tormenting.
Lady Hyde stood for a moment, then found a place to sit down.
"Brandan, you shouldn’t just stand there all the time, sit here and rest for a while."
Brandan Hyde shook his head, his brow slightly furrowed, and he appeared somewhat preoccupied on his handsome face.
After a while, a nurse hurriedly came over.
"Mr. Hyde, Lady Hyde, Doctor Lester wants to see you in his office."
"Is Iris’s medical report out?"
Lady Hyde asked anxiously.
"...Yes." The nurse hesitated for a moment before nodding, "Please come with me."
Brandan Hyde straightened up, his eyes falling on the nurse’s slightly hesitant face, thinking about something unknown.
