Chapter 752

The moment the warning sounded from Alba, the atmosphere around the clan members switched to over serious mode as twenty long tongues lashed out at them at lightning speed.

"Perfect, Perfect. Hahahahaha~" Killian suddenly burst into a manical laughter as ki flared around his feet.

Hands clutching his swords tightly and with explosive speed, he shot into the air. Swords clashing with two tongues as he sliced through them with relative ease.

Channeling Ki into his red sword, he swung it in the air sending a flaming slash speeding towards the beast at full speed.

"You damn brute! Don’t ruin the formation." Brook’s booming voice cut through his fight causing him to turn around to see another fast tongue lashing his way.

Despite this attack, Killian turned away from it as he landed back down on the ground only for a clanging sound to be heard behind him.

He didn’t need to turn around to check what happened because he knew.

Brook had blocked the attack with his shield.

Alba on the other hand, just stood calmly watching as about three tongues lashed towards her.

With calm, fluid speed, she dodged each and every one of the tongues while precisely blocking with the back of her blade.

A sharp ring echoed out as she stared at the beast.

After the initial failed surprise attack, the beasts could be seen slowly surrounding the humans. Trapping then in their formation but for some reason, none of them flinched.

Well... Judy did as she held her spear in her hand shakily.

Grey just stood outside this trap while watching with an amused, keen, watchful gaze.

’Twenty saint type beasts eh? This might be tricky even for me.’

Creeeee—!

The beast all sounded loudly as they lunged forward at full speed hoping to find an opening in this tight formation but there was none.

Alba who was out front and facing the majority of the beasts didn’t move from one spot as she twisted, slashed and blocked with her sword.

Each movement precise and calculated without wasting a single breath.

A tongue whipped towards her and she just channeled ki to her hand, shooting it in the air, she caught the tongue in a firm grip refusing to let go.

She lifted her sword about to slash away when another tongue streaked towards her face.

Without looking behind her, she swung her sword swatting the organ away.

Then with Ki coursing through her hands, she tightened her grip and lifted the beast in the air before hurling it away sending it crashing into others with a loud bang.

Before she could catch another beast, she heard the change of wind rushing towards her.

This made her turn to block when...

Swoosh—!

An arrow shot through the air at full speed colliding with the tongue and veering it off course.

This allowed her augment her feet with ki and sprint forward thrusting her sword into the beast’s face and bursting its eyeballs.

This caused it to let out a pained shriek as it threw its head around thrashing in pain only for Lance to lunge forward at immense speed.

Bashing his axes into the side of the beast, a crack was heard as blood splattered into the air.

Another strike and the crack gave way as his weapons tore through the beast with a bit of a resistance.

Swooosh—!

Alba quickly tilted her head to the side as she avoided another tongue that almost caught her off guard.

Only for a beast to sneak up on her from below. Mouth opened wide as rows and rows of jagged teeth lined its gum.

Its face rocketed towards the woman ready to chomp on her.

TTCHAKK—!

The beast’s face smashed into a tower shield in a second causing blood to trickle down its face.

Brook pushed the beast off his shield watching as it landed smoothly on all fours before lunging at him with immense speed.

"Go high." Alba’s calm voice commanded.

It was too eerie calm. Like the situation didn’t even irk her one bit.

Brook wasted no time in sending ki to his feet and keeping into the air the moment the beast was about to collide with him.

In that moment, like a crazed monster, Alba swung her sword in the air ten times in five seconds.

And with it, came crimson slashes of Ki racing towards the beast who had set its eyes on Brook.

Now with its target in the air, the beast was unable to react on time as the slashes struck it squarely. Dicing its body up like minced meat as flesh fell to the ground with wet thud.

’Hmm... impressive. But I need more. What makes you guys dangerous.’ Grey nodded watching Alba’s impressive display.

That was when he turned his gaze to stare at Judy who was still in the middle of the formation... trembling while twisting and turning watching how the others fought vigorously.

Spear clutched in her hand which she brought close to her chest. If anybody saw her at the moment, they would have thought she would break down in tears at any moment.

Still, she was still standing while watching the others battle.

Due to the tight formation, they hadn’t let any beasts get through to her as everybody fought with vigour all except Alba that is. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

But a mistake finally cracked open.

It was Killian’s fault. He was so consumed in the battle that he left the formation for a moment rapidly clashing with the long tongues streaking his way.

His hands moved almost akin to a blur as he ducked, dodged and parried the organs heading his way.

This let a beast see its opening and lunge towards Judy at blazing speed.

Seeing this, the girl shrieked loudly as her face reddened. Eyes widened like she had just seen a ghost.

With a loud sound, the beast leaped through the air speeding towards her.

For a moment, Grey was tempted to move. To help her. To save her.

And he did. But the moment he took a single step, his eyes widened.

TCHAKKK—!

Judy’s hand had blurred forward driving her spear through the beast who was in the air above her.

Blood sprayed from the creature splattering across her face as she stared at the impaled beast on her spear with a blank look on her.

The next moment, a devilish grin curled across her face splitting her features apart and making her look like a devil in human skin.

All of Grey’s hairs on his body rose up in an instant as he watched the girl’s hands bulge akin to that of a body builder before she casually hurled the impaled beast away.

A loud bang rang out as the beast collided with another. The force of the hurl sending the two crashing far into the distance while imploding in one another.
